"...I couldn't manage you.. I'll get fired." Preeti said in between the sobs.
"We need to go home, come on. Nobody gets to know what happened here. It's between you and me honey." I consoled.
"But.. but what if these two men spill the beans?" she said pointing towards the bar owner and Austin.
I looked at the owner, Austin, and then at Preeti, "I'll kick him again." I replied with a Pokerface.
"What makes you think you could kick me, miss, tipsy?" The club owner asked.
"He's right Roop, on the contrary, he could just kick us out any moment." Preeti reasoned, probably returning back to her senses.
She was right actually. I turned towards him, lost in his deep eyes again, inched closer to his face, so close that I could feel his hot breathing on my face, turning shallow by now, studying the details of his handsome face, the brows, lashes, the tanned skin, the perfectly chiseled face, the smell of his aftershave and those luscious lips, calling me towards them. My lips found his, closing the distance between, and I found myself held firmly by his strong arms again, by the waist, returning the kiss softly, a soft peck, turning into an innocent kiss.
I pulled back and questioned, "I won't kick you."
"Roop!" Preeti said as she stood there, pale, probably sobered up by now due to the extreme shock.
"You must go home now, I'll get my driver to escort you back home." The owner said, to which, Austin looked at him in disbelief.
Both men then escorted Preeti and me outside and boarded us in a Maybach Exelero.
"Make sure they reach home safe, they're special to me." I heard Neil Armstrong say, too drunk to retort, I closed my eyes.
The following morning, in my personal mansion
My sleep was interrupted by a phone call.
"Who is calling so early in the morning? Ugh, this sound is so loud and annoying." My eyes were so blurry that I couldn't even look at the caller ID so I picked up directly.
"Hello?" I answered in a sleepy voice
"Are you still sleeping? Wake up!" It's my mom on the phone
"Have you been having nightmares so you're calling me up so early in the morning?"
"It's 12 pm."
My eyes widened in shock.
"Are you okay honey? You slept in.. are you not well?"
"I... I'm okay mom! Just riding home at the midnight had its special discounts."
