She sometimes scares me so badly.
On the bed, she lay a red satin slip dress and a ton of makeup. I cannot even guess where she got that dress from so soon, or did it already exist in some part of my closet.
"Come here, put this on." She said handing me over the red dress. But I could feel something wrapped inside the dress.
Unwrapping it, there was a matching lingerie with it.
I shot her an angry and questioning gaze, which she ignored and ushered me into the dressing area.
I could not understand why, but in my heart, I did not feel like hitting it up with Reyhaan. I had been a horny teenager for so long, fantasizing about him, but when I have the opportunity on hand today, I simply don't feel like grabbing it.
Something has changed.
Putting aside the dress, I put on a pair of Jeans and a black T-shirt with my hair up in a ponytail.
Walking out, I could see Preeti purely annoyed with my choice.
"What?" she barked at me.
I then sat her down and explained how I was feeling.
She seemed to get drowned in some thoughts and eventually said, "I understand, but Alyssa is already preparing you some sandwiches. Have dinner with Reyhaan"
"I surely will," I said hugging her, "You are the best!"
"Then I will be taking my leave now. See you tomorrow Roop." Preeti walked out after saying this, leaving me wondering about my wavering feelings.
Shortly after, I could hear the doorbell ring from my room, followed by Reyhaan greeting Preeti.
"Hi, it's Reyhaan. I am here to meet Roop." he said to Preeti.
"Hello sir, please follow me." I could hear Preeti respond to him.
A few moments later, Preeti knocked on my door, "Reyhaan is in the balcony upstairs, all preparations have been made for the dinner."
I smiled at her, getting up from the blue leather sofa in my room, straightening my dress, and capturing a mirror selfie before meeting my date, unknown to what awaits me tonight.
