Nora's POV
I woke up and sat right up in a dark room but I was mad ,not mad that I was in a comfortable bed no , I was mad because I could not defeat those men and it hurt me a lot from within. All I know is that I would hear my sister saying 'I told you so' but at the thought of knowing that my parents where killed by dragons pissed me off.
Suddenly the image of the incident that took place fifteen years ago came back but for a mere second.
I almost lost my cool until I felt a hand on my shoulder and panicked. As I slowly turned my head around it revealed the man who had saved me. His emerald eyes were everything a person could ask for at that moment as i began to relax at look of them.
"Are you okay" as the man said my heart beat faster than usual and I couldn't say anything but nod.
" For second I thought you were dead but if I may ask what were you doing at that alley" when he said that it popped into my head that I had to go for a meeting. "I'm sorry but I have to get going" I said in rush and a traumatizing ache came from my chest making me groan in pain.
As I was close to falling to the ground some large hands caught me and I looked at the man carefully examining him. His silky long hair made him look like an assassin but his eyes and pale skin said something else.
"You need to be careful you haven't heal yet so I suggest you take rest because tomorrow I will take take you to the palace"he said as I stood there shocked cause I never told him anything about going to the palace.
" How did you know I was going to the palace?" I asked curiously then his reply blew my mind "I saw you in the market with your pack but you were too distracted by the children playing around that you ended up going in the wrong path am I right?" with my eyes wide open in shock I nodded in shame but what he said next caught me off guard "But I can say for a wolf you are really impressive" and closed the door behind him as if we had a close bonding friendship reunion.
I was still trying to process everything that had happened ever since I came to this so called kingdom but ended up going to a trans sleep due to the medicine effects.
Nick's POV
I made my way to the meeting room where the conference was to held but did not know what it was about. It had been a while since we last had a meeting in the castle.While still in my thoughts, I froze again to the excitement of my dragon taking over I growled at the edge of shifting into my dragon form.
"Mon garçon est-ce que tu vas bien?"a voice from behind woke me up from my formation "Oui je vais bien merci beaucoup tante Valérie"I replied smiling to the person who had take care of me like her own son.
Valérie was Donato's wife but I considered her my aunt as she took her of me when I was sick and never wanted me to worry about anything as long as she was there. There was only one thing that bothered me the most as she bravely put on a smile every time we bumped into each other, it was the fact that she couldn't conceive or let's just say she had several miscarriages but always some how managed to grace us with her presence. I wanted to help her and Donato as they were the ones that kept this family together for a very long time and prevented mishappenings from occurring but how could I help if I too had problems of my own I was basically helpless.
"Vas-tu rester là Nicolas ou devrions-nous passer aux choses sérieuses?" another voice that was the only thing that could turn my joyful morning into designated death uprising. "comme tu veux père" I replied knowing that arguing with my father or rather the king{Jacob Durand}was a waste of time.
I got into the room only to find that the sits were still empty and my sister was sitting at the farthest point of the table " wow seems your meeting dwellers ditched you for some other party"I said with a smirking smile on my face as I swiftly passed by my father "tais-toi sinon je mettrai un rat dans ta bouche" my father replied as my sister pretended she was choking on her saliva.
As I exhaled and started taking steps to my seat Donato appeared at the door with a fright look on his face "Donato qu'est-ce qu'il y a avec le visage?" my sister asked personally concerned. " We may have a little problem your majesties"he said as all three of us looked at him with our heads tilting down ward in annoyance.
Come think of it some people would say we look like the possessed triplets as the motion of our heads at the same pace looked horrifying from a distance.
"Please come with me"Donato said and we all followed him to the grand hall were my jaw dropped open and my sister tipping it back up to close it .
"Werewolves" I whispered in an exciting but frustrating way.
I was close to giving up on this book but I can't do anything about it because I love writing weird stuff when I'm on free mode..
