I checked the time before running towards the palace within the walls of the kingdom.At that precise moment it was 8:47 in the morning and I knew that everyone in the pack liked long naps as they work hard to protect each other. But what I wasn't aspecting was that they would be laughing along with dragons.
As I entered the doors of the palace, a mesmerizing scent caught my attention and I was drawn into following it but as I was about to set foot into the palace an awful odor/scent attracted my attention to kill it as I took a peak and I saw the scar man who had I attacked me in the alley. My anger rose slowly in me and in a flash I ran towards the man with so much anger and hate for him that he himself started running but I wondered why. As he ran into an empty passage I leapt and grabbed him by the neck which broke him into two as the head rolled towards the lifeless body.I started feeling weird after my kill and even my body reacted in a different way.
I still did not know what was happening but soon after a pleasant scent calmed me down as I saw a charming,handsome man with brown slick wavy hair and the scent of blueberry and rainwood leaving the words to escape out of my mouth "MATE" as I feel into unconsciousness.
I finally woke up with a giddy expression and my head spinning in so many different ways but what shocked me the most was that my sister was sleeping beside me which actually made me happy to have her around.
"What happened?" I asked as I took a look at my surroundings "Ella can you wake up" I said into her ear "Nora it's too early for you right now" she said in her sleep "Then why you sleeping with me?"I asked curiously "Because ,becau.... wait what Nora you are awake?"she said surprised and happy at the same time that she ran out of the room but I was still confused.
All I remember was coming back to the palace and then I saw the scar man but I don't remember what happened next.Ella was taking too long and I was getting hungry that I decided to distract myself by looking around the room.
It was absolutely wonderful ,the fact that it had a brown wood tile coating on the floor,with a dear fur carpet , a gray curtain and black colored wall with a family portrait in the middle and the plants at the sides of the bed.
The family portrait was the one that caught my eyes the most as they were six people in the portrait but my attention went to the young man in classic fit suit with brown wavy slick hair and beautiful brown eyes.It was as if I had known the man for a long time but I did not know why I had that feeling. I was still in my trans when a knock from the door woke me up from my daydreams "Miss my I come in?"a strange calm voice said from behind the door "Yes" I replied and a man nearly in his 50s came in with a tray in his hands.
"Miss please have the food you must be hungry"he stated as my stomach commented with a growl and I couldn't help but laugh at the awkwardness it gave in while he grinned at the fact. "Well I will leave you to it"he said while closing the door but not soon after my brother,sister,uncle and some other people came in through the door.All eyes were on me but mine focused to the brown eyes that were in the back of the others.
Nick's POV
It had been three days since my precious/mate was awake and all I was thinking about was how I was going to tell her that she was my forever.When I met her she was about to enter the doors of the palace when suddenly she turned around in anger and shifted into her wolf form chasing down a man who seemed to have come from the Devil clan but I was in shocked because she managed to kill him.
A dragon with that kind of scar was powerful but my mate was angry and in pain and I wanted to soothe her. Luckily I took her into my room put her under the blankets in time for her to shift back into a her human again but I wondered why she killed that my man and what was the Devil clans motive this time.
"What happened to her?"a voice from the back startled me and I looked around to see the Alpha wolf asking in shock " She shifted into a wolf and killed a man" I replied knowing that something happened to her the day before "She did what"as he was even more surprised "My prince please forgive her if she killed anyone innocent"he added with my reply I said "Do not worry she killed the right person"and I could tell he wanted to know what I was talking but he had to wait for the meeting with father and mother.
I thought about what my mother had said to me when I went to consult her about my problem "Mom I have been getting weird feelings and my dragon wants to uproar itself due to a scent I have been catching,what's going on?" she just smiled and said "come and sit down and I will tell you everything"and I sat opposite the table she was sitting at.
"Well where should I start ,okay so the feelings you have been getting are mating calls from your mate and if you don't mark your mate both of you are going to have problems in your lives.The reason your dragon feels like coming out is because you haven't marked her."as I was shocked that I never knew this I asked another question "What if my mate is another species?"I asked a bit worried she would complain but what I heard next shocked me completely " I long knew your mate was a wolf because she is the chosen Luna and that's why he wants her to make his clan strong." I knew to whom my mother was referring to 'Cole MacQuoid' the leader of the Devil clan and the reason-for my mother anxiety and pain of protecting me from being killed for all these years.
She was in so much pain that I thought I would lose her any time soon.I never wanted that to ever happen to my mate because she was mine and I was hers and nothing was going to separate us.
After those three days I thought very hard on how I would approach her and just keep her safe because the Devil clan was after her more than me.When she woke up her messy fluffy afro was pleasant with her small waist, medium sized ass and small breasts gave her way that I could not control myself especially after she moved her hips from side to side all I had to do was get the energy to leave but I froze on the spot and could not move.
After everyone left she crossed her arms and lifted her eyebrows to know what I wanted but I just walked towards my wardrobe and took out my gym clothes to go for my daily workout.
"So you are the prince?"she asked as I celebrated inside about how beautiful her voice was "Yes I'm"I replied in a deep serious tone while taking out my shoes "So why do we have this meeting?"she asked and I turned around to look at her beautiful figure "we were suppose to have it three days ago but you were out for a whole three days"I stated as she was so shocked by what I said which made me want to laugh.
"That can't be true"she added "But it is" I replied in a low tone growl which surprised me and she felt nervous which turned me on but I held the feeling back. "I never wanted to come here"she stated "But you are here" I said with a grin on my face.
Suddenly I was hit against the wall and the pressure was immense "I will break every part of your body from limb to limb"she said in anger and I did not want to be the cause of my mate's anger even though she was starting to annoy me. I knew karate, Taekwondo and boxing very well so I rolled out and pressed her to the wall "Well you can't love and we both know why"I said as she stopped fidgeting and looked away so that I don't see her blue glistening eyes.What I hated the most was that I wanted to mark her so bad but we both needed to let each other into one another's heart and her scent was more enchanting-up close then it was far away.
Her scent was a liking of rain forest and sweat but I didn't want to do it and had to wait for her to accept me for me. "I'm going for a shower"I whispered into her ear and kissed her forehead as she gasped with her eyes closed and I smirked at the innocent look on her face "Ok Okay"she said stammering along the way
