Chapter 8 - Water

Kongane rested in the shades of the trees near the lake for a while. Enjoying the peacefulness. Listening to the birds chirping and the falling water from the waterfalls. After. sometime He opened his eyes and stood up from the shades. He walked towards the the lake and looked at his reflection. He looked at his golden eyes and silver white hair and eyelashes. He truly was a beauty. Even he himself was enchanted. When he was first born and the villagers called him ;The Beauty who could even make gods go to war over; he didn't believe it. He had seen many beautiful people in his past life. But compare to the fox village which was full of beauties, even the ugliest one among them could make the ones from his past world faint from short of breath. He had average looks in his last life. So how could he be so beautiful? The first time he saw himself he fainted from shock. He LITERALLY fainted! He didn't woke up for half a day. Luckily his family thought that he was sleeping the whole time. After all he was a baby back then. But now he has gotten used to it.

Kongane sighed and sat in a lotus position. He closed his eyes and tried to feel the energy in the water and his body. The small molecules that are moving through his body. How they respond to the air. How the ripples that are formed moved. How the water pushed or pulled. How the droplets of waters that are separated from the mass again mixed with the rest. Imagine how the water would freeze in to ice slowly step by step. Imagine it's unique instructors. How it would look if it was boiled to vapour drops. Feel water in its every form and compare. Compare them to you. Compare you spirit to it. See how it so easily bends and yet again straightens. See how you spirit moves. See how your energy in your body. How every time you breathe how the energy reacts. How they behave. Recognize it. Memorize the feeling. Then mix the water with the feeling. Slowly look for movements that match and mix them by slowly connecting the flow of both energy. Feel how they behave together. How they become one another and separate. Feeling it all and slowly become water itself.

Be a water that is you yet make a you that is water. A you that is slave to water yet make the water a slave to you. Become water and built the water into you.Become and make and build. Be one with the water.(This line is not a mistake. What is written here is correct.)

Kongane sighed and slowly did what he remembers from the Cultivation books. He did it all to each word to word all morning. He almost forgot the time as he was immersed in Cultivation. The Sun which was just rising when he got to the lake was now about to set. The day had come to an end. The birds were going back home while the beasts were coming out as the night was the best time to hunt. Everything was normal. Kongane finally opened his eyes and in his eyes one can find clarity. His golden eyes were as calm as the waters of the lake. If one looked close enough one could see the irises changing. His eyes as golden as the rays of the Sun were now.......calm. His eyes that if one looked into for a extended period of time would feel like they were looking at the Sun it self. They would feel the warmth of the morning Sun rays penetrating the horizon from the other side of the hills. But now they looked........ different. It was not the color that was different but the feeling that one got when they looked into his eyes. If one looked into his eyes, no matter how calmed the seemed there was always this feriousness to it. When they peeked into the depths of his eyes they could even feel the warmth from them if they tried hard enough. But now that feriousness and warmth was gone.

Now when one looked into his eyes they would find something else. The sun like warmth was now replaced by the coolness of the lake. There was no warmth. There was only the refreshing feeling of the lake it self. His eyes were still golden but if someone like his parents or Hoshino looked in to his eyes with the aim of search then they would be able to see that the brightness of his eyes had dimed in a sense. The golden radiance was gone. Replaced by something else. But the change was so small that it was almost impossible to figure out what was wrong.

Kongane smiled and was about to get up when he saw something from the corner of his eyes.
