Two days have passed. There was plenty of veggies for the group of "pigs". The wolf among Kole, Forest, and Blaze got tired of eating vegetables, so on the second night, he broke out by digging. Luckily, he covered the hole on the other side so no hunters could get in through that way.
The third day was close to ending when Kole and his freinds heard a blood curdling cry. Forest put his paws on Blaze's ears to keep them from lightening up. He they heard scratching on the vine walls. The hunters finally found Kole and the others. Forest panicked and said, "Kole! Use Magma Claw on the vines so we can run!"
Before Kole could do anything, Blaze said, "No! If he did that, lava will ooze out of his claws! You need to use Fire Blade!" Kole looked at his paws, and small blades of fire appeared on both of them. He cut out an exit for his friends and everyone ran out of the vine dome. While running, Forest asked Blaze, "How did he do that?" Blaze smiled and said, "Secret training!"
Forest groaned and said, "So the burn marks weren't from the hunters." An arrow made of light flew past Kole's face and he shouted, "Incoming arrows!" Everyone ran faster to evade the arrows, but one of the hunters were able to shoot Forest's back. He collapsed and everyone ran back. He shouted, "No! You must leave! Survive!"
The flames on Blaze's ears became tiny, and he whimpered, "B-but Forest..." Forest bended the trees to block the hunters' path. Then he said, "Blaze. Please go... they'll catch you if you stay." Blaze tried to pull the arrow out, but it burned his paws. Forest grabbed Blaze's arm and sat up saying, "It's too late for me. You were a great friend, even though you were ignorant."
Red tears fell from Blaze's eyes, and he said, "Forest, please..." Forest laughed and he said, "It's been a long time since I've seen you cry. You have natural fiery talent." A leaf appeared on Forest's paw, and Blaze shouted, "You were already dying!? Why didn't you tell us before!?" Forest sighed and said, "I didn't want to worry you too much. You were already looking after Kole."
Forest's eyes slowly started to close, and Blaze buried his face into Forest's belly. Forest hugged Blaze and said, "Goodbye... my dearest friend." Forest pushed Blaze away, and suddenly, roots came from underneath and connected with Forest. Then he looked up at the moon and said, "Make sure... that you and Kole survive."
Then Forest's body shot up into the sky, and turned into a bunch of leaves. Leave started showering down, and Blaze said, "Let's go... Kole. Kole?" When he turned around to look at Kole, he was gone. Right before Blaze freaked out, he saw an outline of Kole in spirit mode. He sighed in relief, but suddenly, everything faded to black.
He looked in front of him and saw Kole. Kole said, "Welcome to my mind. In the real world, the hunters might think you're dead, so we're safe." Blaze said, "K-Kole... why did you bring me here?" Kole smirked, then he said, "Someone wants to talk to you." Kole pointed behind Blaze, then Blaze turned around and saw Forest.
Forest said, "I have a message for you. It's something very vital for the future of everything and everyone." Blaze nodded and sat down. Forest sighed and said, "Ok. So when I died, for a split second, I saw the future. You and Kole must survive this game, or all is genuinely lost. I must go-" Kole said, "Nope. I have to catch you before something bad happens."
Kole grabbed a jar and put Forest's soul into it. Blaze stared in wonder and said, "Woah. Mr. Nafario never tells me anything about Soul Catchers. Wait, do the jars stay in your mind?" Kole nodded and said, "Let's go back to the real world."
Blaze opened one eye to check his surroundings. He heard Kole whisper, "All's clear. You can move now." Blaze sighed and stood up. He then said, "We have to tell the others about Forest and the future." Kole reappeared in front of Blaze and said, "You're right, but is it against the rules to leave the forest?" Blaze shook his head and said, "In fact, it's another way to win this game." Kole smiled and said, "Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!"
Mr. Nafario looked at the brightly shining moon. He said, "It's a full moon. Spirits may wonder the streets." Edward said, "You're worried about Kole, yes?" Mr. Nafario looked down at his paws and said, "You're right. Kole is the one that this world needs most. He's Claudius after all. However, I have the feeling that our future might-"
Suddenly, Kole and Blaze ran out of the forest and to in front of the bleachers. Paul shouted, "Wait how did you know about the hidden rule!?" Blaze said, "Well this isn't our first time playing this game you know. Now let me bite your face off for continuing this terrible game!" Blaze pounced, but Kole grabbed his tail with his mouth.
With a muffled voice, Kole said, "Remember what we're here for! We have to tell the others!" Blaze said, "Ouch! Ok Ok let go!" Kole let go of Blaze and they walked towards the others. Kole asked Mr. Nafario, "Say, where are Ice and Smith?" He replied, "At a hotel. Luckily we were able to afford it. So where's Forest?" Blaze and Kole looked down in silence.
Edward said, "O-oh... so... he got killed..." Blaze's ears lit on fire again and he shouted, "No! He... he was already dying!" Blaze stood up on his back paws and grabbed Edward by the shoulders, and shouted, "You knew, didn't you!? You fucking knew, but you didn't tell anyone! You-" Edward pushed Blaze, and made him fall off of the bleachers.
When he fell onto the ground, something snapped, and blood came flowing from his mouth. "B-Blaze!" Kole ran down the bleachers, and Mr. Nafario said, "You didn't have to do that." Edward just scoffed and said, "That moron doesn't know who's he speaking to." Mr. Nafario looked down at the scene in concern. "Maybe. But you don't know who you're messing with."
