"You built a temple?" Lark asked. "Sure did! It took a while though, but I got a lot stronger!" Flabbergasted is what everyone was, especially Ice and Blacksmith. Mr. Nafario said, "What are you waiting for? Let's go!" Everyone picked up their jaws, and followed Milo into the jungle. About thirty minutes later, they arrived at a huge temple that was covered in vines and moss.
Blaze said, "This is huge!" Lark mumbled, "That's what she said." Kole and Ice started snickering, and Blaze shouted, "I heard that!" Mr. Nafario said, "You all are acting like children." Then he turned to Milo and asked, "Is it safe to enter?" Milo nodded and said, "The other tigers get rid of the snakes and other creatures that are "annoying". Follow me everyone!"
Mr. Nafario forced Blaze to stop bickering with Lark, and then they followed Milo into the temple. It was quite clean for something that is covered in greenery from the outside. The floors were made of marble, and the walls were green lined with marble pillars. Lark asked, "What is this green stone on the walls?"
Milo said, "That's not green. It's blue-green. And it's called Malachite." Kole and Ice had known about some stones, but he has never heard of this one. Blacksmith said, "I've heard of it, but I've never seen it. If someone finds this temple, they're going to break it apart for the riches." Milo said, "Not possible. The tigers of the temple help protect it."
Ice said, "You keep speaking of other tigers. Where are they?" Milo had to think about it for a little bit; then he said, "They're usually outside, but there are some who hang out inside." Ice started shaking a bit, and Blaze said, "Ooh~ Someone's scared!" Ice shook is head aggressively and shouted, "I'm not scared!"
Then there was a low growl coming from the end of the hall. That made Ice jump and scramble behind Kole. After a long few seconds, a giant black and gold striped tiger stomped his way to Milo. The size difference showed how big Milo was than the average tiger. Kole said, "A black and gold tiger?"
Blacksmith said, "Those are extinct!" The tiger ignored everyone but Milo. The tiger said, "I will definitely beat you this time, King." Blaze bursted out in laughter and said, "King!? This furball? Ha!" The tiger glanced at Blaze and said, "What are these weaklings doing here?"
Blaze instantly stopped laughing and stared at the black tiger in a fiery anger. Blaze growled, "Don't push me." The tiger just snorted and said, "Well?" Milo said, "They're no weaklings. Especially Claudius! He can beat me if he wanted to! No one else can though."
Milo used his tail to point at Kole, and the tiger said, "That's not possible! He's just a dumb cheetah! I can easily break his bones!" The tiger jumped at Kole, but Blaze and Ice got in his way, then they pushed the tiger back where he was. Then Milo said, "You can't fight Claudius unless it's a fight to the death."
Then the tiger asked him, "How did you survive?" Milo glanced up at the ceiling and said, "I was on the brink of death. But he saved my life and called me friend." What Milo said made Kole remember something. "The fight the the Sun Temple..." Kole murmured.
Mr. Nafario looked at him in surprise and asked, "You remember?" Kole slowly nodded as memories flooded back. They were coming back more easily than before. Kole said, "Yes... Milo is my friend. I call him Boss." Milo got overly excited and said, "You remember!"
All of a sudden, the ground started shaking. Then there was an explosion at the entrance of the temple. Milo shouted, "Get behind me!" Everyone rushed behind him. Everyone but the tiger. Milo shouted, "Angelo! What are you doing!? It's dangerous!"
Angelo said, "Shut up! I will face this head o-" A blade of darkness flew from the depths of the dust at the entrance. It sliced off Angelo's head, and Milo made a wall that stopped the blade from hitting him or anyone else. Everyone was silent and still, as Milo lowered the wall, and stared at the headless corpse.
Then Conner flew in and shouted, "Now I'm mad! You cannot-" A sudden aura of light surrounded Milo. Kole shouted, "Everyone! Get back!"
