At the moment they were sitting around the campfire
Roc, Debro and Daisy were sitting close to the fire to warm and dry themselves. Debro and Roc were telling the story of how they found Daisy and saved her which made Edward even more afraid and made him thank Lady Luck.
Edward helped to take off the thick layer of mud wrapped around Daisy's calf and the dried mud mixed with her long her. Every time he lifted a piece of mud, he would sigh.
"Why is the mud so hard?" Edward wondered as he kneeled in front of Daisy to clean her. He frowned as he carefully scraped the dry mud in front of the fire only to suddenly realize something.
"This is something really hard to get!" he screamed in surprise.
Everyone was puzzled at Edward.
"Light, what is so worthy to make you so happy?" Night looked at him inexplicably.
"Night, Daisy, everyone listen! This mud is called clay; it is a good pottery material. After that, no, in these few days, we can use it to make water tanks and boil water.
"Boil water?"
After he finished, he smiled and looked at the Daisy lying halfway down.
"Daisy you said that you didn't like the hot water from the hot spring cause it has a smell right? Then we can simply heat our own water through making water tanks from this clay and using fire!"
"That's so good!" Daisy and Night clapped their hands and laughed happily.
After getting the deer. Edward didn't delay for a moment. He took the bow that had already been prepared and prepared the leather rope, and tied the bowstring a few times.
He was pleased to pull a few bowstrings, full of flexibility. If an arrow was shot, it would be really powerful!
"Let's rest early tonight. Tomorrow is a bright day, let's go outside and practice archery!"
***************
Early in the morning, everyone was full of energy, except Daisy. She ran for a whole day, yesterday, plus she had to sleep several times with Wolf. And also she was trapped in the cold swamp yesterday. When she woke up in the morning, she felt her head groggy.
"Daisy, you have a fever." Edward touched her cheeks which were red due to fever. Her face showed her anxiety.
'The time is too tight right now, and Titan's bet only has less than two days left. I have to teach others to about archery. But what about Daisy? She is burning up so badly that it was even hard for her to drink water. If only there was aspirin in this world....What to do now?'
Edward also thought about taking a person back to the swamp and transport back some clay they had discovered as he needed that clay to make some kind of water container to cool down Daisy.
'Night is not allowed to go that close to Cloud tribe whole the two men have to learn archery...There are not enough people. Someone has to stay to take care of Daisy. Someone has to go to the swamp to get back the mud.'
Edward was frowning meanwhile Roc, holding a bundle of grass, came over.
"Brother Light, this is the grass you want," he said, then looking at Night standing next to Edward, as if he was asking for advice.
"Night sister, a few people in our family came over early in the morning, lurking around our cave, they have smelled the smell of meat these days which might be the reason they are around here, do you want to drive them away?"
"How dare they come after what they did along with the Chief? Drive them away" In Night's eyes they were nothing but here to take advantage of the meat, Light had.
While Edward was worrying about the Daisy problem, when he heard this he suddenly turned his eyes and quickly stopped them.
"Night if some of these people are good then leave them be. Drive those away that are harmful to us and leave the good ones. They can be of use to us and you know these people more than me. We need more people in our tribe! We must expand our tribe."
Suddenly, a plan was forming in Edward's mind as his face broke out in a full smile. As long as he could slowly entice them and tame them using meat the same way he had done with everyone around him currently, he could easily control them and make them work for their food.
