Edward had realized that he was too reckless about this matter.
How could he let such a delicate girl like Daisy go so far alone and even ask her to get her former lover's precious deer?
'She has not returned even until now! What the fuck have I done? Was I too hasty or selfish? Shit!'
Edward did not dare to think again, he immediately called Debro and Roc.
"Hurry you two, don't delay for a moment. I want you to go to the Cloud tribe and get Daisy back. If there is trouble and they give some kind of conditions for Daisy's return then just get her back no matter what they ask. Understood?"
The two men looked at each other seriously and hurried away.
Edward walked up and down in the cave, looking uneasy and anxious.
'What if Daisy does not get the deer? Even if that's the case I could use leather ropes to make rudimentary bowstrings. Although, the elasticity would not be as good as the deer but we can at least get some smaller game like pheasants or something. Anything is better than endangering Daisy!'
"Light, what are you thinking?" Night sat next to the fire and asked while poking the fire with a stick.
Edward scratched his head,
"I...." He sat down. "Night, I am really anxious, if we could just pass this hurdle, then our days ahead won't have much worry..."
"Light, you don't have to worry too much, Daisy is very smart, I think she will succeed!" Night comforted.
"Light, what I want to know is, after you help me win against Titan with the bet we made, will you leave us to find your own people you are separated from?"
The first sentence of Night made him feel a lot more comfortable, but the moment he heard the second part, he felt confused as if it was something obvious.
"Night, do you think I will leave you?" He smiled and asked.
"Light, I don't think you will leave. Even if we don't get the deer tonight, you can simply take us far away to escape! We can always run to a new location."
Her dark eyes sparkled. It was the complete selfless trust and commitment, which made Edward feel deeply moved.
"Silly girl, if you say something like this then I am not afraid of anything!" He raised his right hand and gently cupped her face.
The bonfire jumped and reflected strange shadows on the wall of the cave. Edward and Night cuddled next to each other. It felt like time had become still.
'Back in my world, I used to envy others who had their spring time now this brother has two prehistoric beauties for him. As long as I get the deer today, I can create an empire! This is the start of it all.'

Fear shocked her body into going rigid. Daisy's desire to survive made her hands flutter which stirred up the water around her. She wanted to struggle out of this abyss. At the same time, she opened her mouth and shouted for help.
"Help… help me!"
Her body was sinking down little by little and she was absolutely terrified. The coldness of the swamp instantly made her remember the warmth of the bonfire back in the cave. Although she had only enjoyed a few days of warm and satisfying life but just this feeling was enough to stir her up. She felt a strong desire to live, to survive this!
She splashed around to create as must noise as possible. A few mouthfuls of water entered her while the splashing had caused her to sink even faster in the water. She was close to drowning. Very close.
Daisy heard a noise that was coming closer to her but she couldn't focus. All her attention was in keeping her head above water and stopping herself from drowning.
Suddenly, she felt a strong tug along her arms and she was dragged out of the swamp.
When she opened her eyes, the faces of Roc and Debro looked back at her.
"Brothers …... you made it"

Edward hammered his head and blamed himself:
"Almost, just a little late and we would had lost Daisy! This was all my fault"
"Light, I brought back the deer successfully. Don't blame yourself, it was my recklessness that got me in trouble." Daisy lying next to the fire smiled at him as if she was a hero who had a triumphant return.
"Great! Daisy you don't have to do anything tomorrow, wait for the evening and this Light will make you a grand feast." Edward replied while touching his nose with Daisy's.
"Sister look at how happy Light is, this is all your credit. Now we won't have to escape." Night spoke while feeling greatly relieved.
Escape? Debro and Roc apparently did not know the seriousness of the situation, and the two looked at each other in surprise.
Tonight, after following Edward's order to immediately rush to Cloud tribe, they didn't dare to delay. They almost ran straight towards the direction of Cloud tribe. Only the noise of splashing had stopped them to check the swamp and thus finding Daisy. Truly, Daisy was very close to dying and luck saved her life.
