Roc and Wolf used to have a somewhat family relationship as Daisy was close with Wolf before. So talking with each other was more easy and casual for them.
"Bow....arrow?" Wolf was full of wonder not knowing what this new noun meant.
"Oh, it's this." As he said, Roc took the bow hanging from a small tree next to him.
Roc pulled back the bowstrings a few times like a guitar.
"This is the bow but unfortunately all the arrows have been used up otherwise I would have given you a demonstration on how to shoot prey hundreds of meters away in one shot. Isn't this great?"
After picking a deer, Wolf along with his three men left silently.
'I have never seen a scene like today.'
Wolf began to ponder over the road. How could it be so simple to make a fire? His mind was rapidly rotating with different reasoning and explanation. He was trying to justify what he had just seen at the Flying Eagle Tribe
'Go back and steal the fire? But how can someone even steal fire? These people dare to use fire so why can't we use fire too? Another one is this "arrow". Why didn't I ask Roc what exactly an arrow was? And that proud and beautiful woman, Night had rejected even him before. Why does she want to follow that weak looking Light person? Haven't that lady not seen my Cloud tribe?'
Wolf was walking very fast while urging his few men to follow along quickly. As he was walking and thinking more, the more he felt uneasy.
'Roc said that they hunted so many deer with only 4 people! And they also gave me a whole deer too. If I was to do the same, I would lose half my men and still not get a single deer.'
At the moment, the sun was already falling. Under the setting sun, there was a group of people walking towards another direction. Wolf didn't know who they were so he hurriedly chased up to check out.
"So it turned out to be you Titan along with your men?"
The Cloud tribe of Wolf and the Titan tribe were evenly matched. They had a neutral relationship. They kept away from each other and avoided any confrontations.
"Is it Wolf?"
Titan, who used to be accustomed to seeing Wolf, greeted him with a sigh of relief.
"Hey," Titan sighed.
"Today was a shitty day. I was nearly shot to death by this arrow thing."
Titan hated the fact that he was defeated this badly by someone he considered weaker than him. Especially right now he was in in his weakest form. He couldn't afford to show any weakness against someone from a tribe that was equal in power with his own tribe.
"You were shot by an arrow? Was it shot by Roc?"
Wolf had no concern for Titan's injury. Rather if he died, it would make things easier for Wolf. He just wanted to greet Titan and leave but when he heard the word "arrow", he suddenly got interested.
"That's the bloody fucking man." Titan roared in anger.
"A few nights ago, their tribe took in a monkey from some shit swamp. Since then they have been acting like they have bizarre ghosts in their minds. They even killed one of my men. How dare an ant stand against this Titan?"
One of the men behind Titan took out the arrow that shot Titan.
"Oh, that's it!"
Wolf was overtaken by excitement as he carefully examined the arrow. He couldn't help but smile. He was excited about his insight into the secret of Bow and Arrow.
"It's so late, Titan brother where are you going?"
"I am going to the Southwest tribe to find my cousin. I have something to do there."
Titan wouldn't dare to accept that he was driven away by Edward and simply found an excuse.
"Oh...." Wolf has no interest in chatting with Titan. He wanted to leave as quickly as possible. All Wolf wanted was to test out a few things.
'What if I can really do it?' Wolf wondered to himself, lost in his own thoughts.
