Chapter 17 - New Skill

"You need to learn how to swim, and swim with all your equipment on." Eating breakfast Asmo got excited he was going to do something new, he had never swam in the water before. "We will go to the river in the south, well it is more of a creek. But you can swim in it and practice near the mansion." Eating his meal quickly so he can get to his new lesson Asmo was excited to learn a brand new skill he never had before.

"This is the river, it was bigger years ago but whatever. The important part is that it is a walking distance from the mansion with a deep part where you can practice swimming." Jumping into the water with his clothes still on Asmo starting to walk toward the deeper end of the river. "Wait before you go any further, practice in place you can stand in case you need it. I want you to practice in the shallow spots for today, nothing more ok?!" Nodding his head with a smile Asmo went back to the shallower water, he spent the next few hours on swimming. Izzy was siting underneath a tree watching him swim, with him focusing on swimming her face went from smiling and changed into a coughing fit. She had started to cough and when she began to worry Asmo might notice she forced herself to stop. "Is this what I get for smoking a pipe all those years ago." Talking to herself, Izzy watched Asmo play in the water with a sad smile.

Walking back to the mansion was Izzy and Asmo, as they made there way back they were discussing methods of hiding your trails. "When you are walking the woods, and you believe you may be tracked by a hostile group you must take precaution." "How would you know you are being tracked if they aren't near you?" "Good question, what you watch out for is numerous but you must to survive. Watch how the animals behave in the forest, if there is any animal trails that are abondended, or simply if you followed by idiots a fire from their camp." "They would use a campfire even when they are trying to stay hidden?" "Never overestimate your enemy's intelligence, many who are tasked with tracking enemies are seen as disposable for a reason."
