"I have been training him as if he was a military man, he understands maps, encryptions, planning, and stealth. I have trained him in everything I believe he can use, or will need to use. If he engages in combat however he would die, he was never trained in hand to hand combat, or with any weapon of any kind. His only way of defending himself is with runic magic, and at best he is just a novice with some tricks."
Writing down on a letter Izzy was focusing hard on the contents of it, she was putting info she would never say into it. It was so late at night that the guards outside tasked with watching the mansion had secretly fallen asleep, and only a single small candle was used to illuminate her letter. "He is capable of leading soldiers but is incapable of being one, he enjoys planning for defending a place then leaving one. He would become a great military man, if he wasn't the prince but a commoner. I trained him in horse back last week, he can ride a horse now without a saddle or my help." Pausing to caugh, she was coughing so hard it felt like her lungs were about to die. "I'm reaching 78 this year, I'm only pushing on at this point for him. He has nobody, not a single friend or a person he knows. However I raised him to be cold hearted, not naive he believes everyone is out to get him and he has no true allies now."
Finish the letter, Izzy went to her desk and moved it. Opening a hidden area in the wall she stuffed the letter inside, and sealed it by moving the desk again. "That kid doesn't even realize outside of this mansion and in the real world people are killing one another for a piece of bread, they are all hopeless people out there. Nobody knows how to read or understand anything, they are like children forever screaming for help."
