Chapter 31 - The Losers Cry

3rd Person's pov

Elijah along with his division commanders, those that leads the gang of Exitiums made a move. Although it was a direct order from the leader, the division commanders doubted Elijah.

"Boss, are we really going to do this?" Nolan asked nervously

Their boss Elijah also has doubt written on his face on this one, but his loss from Wild Beasts gave him a desperate decision to do this. "We have no other way! We lost almost sixty percent of our gang because of those damned beasts! This is the only way to get back at them, our pride as Exitiums will rise again!"

"I support you boss, I want to get back at that fucker Lexi. That freak did the worst mistake he can ever do! He thinks he can step on my face as he please!?" The Exitiums second division commander, Clair, was getting furious as he recall what happened to him.

Lexi, the first squad leader of Wild Beasts has done an awful lot to Clair's face. Lexi believed the bluffing rumors about Clair being one of the strongest members of Exitiums and had focused his attention on him. But Lexi got disappointed when he easily beat down Clair in a matter of seconds.

Most of the rumors about the Exitiums were all bluffs and purely fake. So they were truly doomed from the start when they tried to mess with the Wild Beasts gang. Exitiums can be considered as wannabees who can't do a proper fight.

As they reached a certain parking lot, the small gang have made their way through the intimidating crowd hanging around the area. People wearing grey shirts with an archery logo can be seen everywhere and started rounding up on Elijah and his gang. "B-Boss!" Some of his men began to panick with all the people surrounding them.

"…and what business does the Exitiums have with us?" One of the people hissed.

The hostile atmosphere they keep giving off had greatly affect the small gang's confidence as they hurdle behind their leader and waited for something to happen. As for Elijah, he tried his best not to waver and continued to inquire.

"Let me talk to your boss. Where's Archer?" Elijah demanded.

The guy who questioned Elijah stepped forward and grabbed him by the collar. It annoyed the guy of how careless Elijah spoke of their leader. "Losers have no right to talk to the boss."

"That's not for you to decide!" Clair exclaimed.

"It does. We can't let losers such as yourselves to ruin the boss's mood. He was pretty upset with the news about you guys, especially you, Elijah."

Elijah was getting impatient with the guy stopping them. He began to assert authority and make himself look formidable when he's not even in Exitium territory. "Tobias. Don't make me repeat myself."

"Repeat all you want. I won't give you what you want, I don't serve under you." Tobias still stubbornly refused.

This made Elijah's subordinates mad with how disrespectful Tobias is to their leader. But it was insensitive of them to think so, since Elijah was the one asking for a favor. However, the man who Elijah had been waiting for has appeared before him. Tobias on the other hand is shocked to see his boss giving attention to jerks like Elijah.

"Archer! You didn't have to meet them."

"It's fine, Tobias. I'd like to speak to him as well." As Archer comes closer, Elijah got chills when he met his gaze. This man is none other than the commander of the North Hunters. He leads a gang with over three hundred and fifty, along with seven division commanders.

North Hunters dominates the north area of the city, people can't confirm the gang's existense because they prefer to do things more neatly. Those who dares to spread and expose the name or information about North Hunters have their deaths assured.

"A-Archer." Elijah stuttered. "…the Wild Beasts… Ren… we lost to them."

"I've heard." The two simple words made Elijah feel the weight of Archer's disappointment. It made him step back and resume his explanation.

"E-Even though we had a lot of men, the damn bastards won! We almost won that night but—"

"Quit reasoning! It's your fault your gang have lost. You were too weak and reckless, your overconfidence got the worst out of you as well! You are too pathetic, Elijah. You never should have created Exitium in the first place."

"HEY!—" Elijah's division commanders got furious when Archer started to talk badly about their boss. Tobias stepped infront of them to stop whatever they plan to do to Archer. "Try me. I can take you all at once." He threatened. They ended up gritting their teeths, while they just watch over Elijah.

Archer circled around Elijah as he continued to talk shit about him. "…a weak leader can't lead a gang, Elijah. It was impressive that you managed to create Exitium, but that's all there is to it. Even the people in your gang are fucking weak! I can tell just by looking at you losers!"

"Archer I—"

"I'm ashamed by the fact that we're related. And it angers me to see you have the nerve to show up infront of me. Have you no shame, Elijah?"

It shocked Elijah's men to learn that he was related to someone way more powerful. They can tell that North Hunters might even be stronger than those Wild Beasts.

"I-I'm sorry." Elijah could no longer held his head at Archers level. That was all he can say at the moment, he felt too ashamed to speak another word.

"Whatever your intentions for coming here, we have no interest in hearing them. So don't ever think of showing up here ever again. Get lost, losers."

As they were banished from the North Hunter's base, the Exitiums walked away without accomplishing anything. They meant to make a deal with Archer to get revenge on the Wild Beasts, but they brought nothing more but shame upon themselves. To that day, Exitiums have disband.
