Chapter 1 - Arrogant Freak? Me? HA!

Carmela brushed the wrinkles of her dress and smoothed her long blonde hair that was braided neatly at the front. She adjusted the flower on the belt of her light pink dress and took a deep breath, pursing her rosy lips.

"Here goes nothing. Be sure to mess this up Carmela!" She grinned to herself before pushing open the door to the cafe and stepping inside.

She strolled around the tables filled with chattering, munching people until she came to a table with a green rose placed at the center. A boy with dark brown hair and a handsome smirk stood tall as she approached. He held out his large hand and stretched his white teeth into a smile.

"Hello. You're very pretty for a blind date." He said with a deep voice, towering above Carmela.

She cleared her throat as she took in his handsome complexion and seated herself across from him, as he sat down.

"Thanks. How are you, Mr. Kim?" She replied and let out a breath, sighing annoyingly. She wondered how her aunt thought she had a chance with this guy.

"Please, call me Taehyung." He offered her another breath-taking smile and called the waiter over.

A tall women with a tight black bun rushed over and asked for their orders.

"Two Pumpkin Spice Lattes please." Taehyung told the women and brushed a stray curl out of his eyes. The waiter nodded and walked away.

Carmela felt a burning anger in her stomach and sat up straight in her chair. She plastered a smile on her pursed lips and spat out fierce words.

"Hey, Kim Taehyung, you didn't even ask me what I wanted. What the hell is wrong with you?" Carmela said and smiled sweetly but struggled to keep her voice from losing control. She placed both hands nicely on her knee crossed over her other leg.

The boy in front of her blinked twice before opening and closing his mouth, clearly struggling to say something.

"I-well, I thought that everyone likes Pumpki-" He stumbled over his words before Carmela cut him off.

"Pumpkin Spice? Ha! Dude, open your eyes man, get out of that hole you just crawled out of, huh? LITERALLY no one drinks that shit!" Carmela laughed and watched the shocked face of the boy her aunt had forced her to meet.

Taehyung's cheeks turned a light pink and he straightened the collar of his brown shirt. Carmela smiled sweetly at him again and brought the glass of water, that was resting in front of her, to her lips.

Tucking her hair behind her ear, her gaze followed the lady on her way to their table with a tray of their two drinks. Carmela eyed them and felt her stomach yearn for the delicious latte arriving. But she reminded herself to stay under control and get this over with once again.

At least this time the guy was actually handsome for a start. But he was just like the rest of men she had encountered. Shallow and caring no further than her appearance. Blind dates only go well if both sides consider each other attractive. That's how they worked, Carmela thought. If you're pretty, you get literally everything.

The lady with the tight bun set the tray in front of them and wished them a good time.

Taehyung cleared his throat nervously and said, "I could get you another drink if you want?" He uncomfortably stared at the two cups and shifted in his seat.

"No that's alright. I think I'll be leaving now." Carmela swung the strap of her purse over her bare shoulder and stood from her seat.

Taehyung did the same, towering over her small figure, but she could tell he was cowering from her powerful aura.

"Wait! Carmela, I'm sorry, it was a mistake! Really, I was stupid and rude for ignoring your choice. Please give me another chance." He pouted his lips and Carmela was surprised to find herself smile at them. An actual, true admiring smile... she shuddered at herself and brought her eyes to his pleading ones.

"I think I'm done here, Mr. Kim."

She stepped out from the table and walked towards the exit. A gush of warm air filled her body as she pushed the swinging door open. She raised a hand above her eyebrows, shading herself from the sun and took out her phone from the pocket of her golden purse. Just as she was about to click it open, a deep voice rang out behind her.

"Hey Ms. Carmela Lee... Where the hell do you think you're going?"

Carmela spun around and saw the brooding figure of the boy she had just dodged. A frown was planted on his pale face and his hands were shoved deep inside his black pants. Carmela put her hand on her hip and scowled. How dare he come out and confront her like this? Who did he think he was? What the actual fuck?

"Excuse me?"

"Who do you think you are, you little arrogant freak? And did you seriously think you could get away with it? I just didn't want to start a fight inside, but now I can say whatever the hell I want." He growled.

Carmela's jaw dropped open and the burning flames inside her body stopped her voice from coming. The curly haired boy continued as passing people shot strange looks towards the two of them standing outside the cafe.

"I made a stupid little mistake, alright, but I did apologize! It was my first date! What should I do now, touch your stinking feet?" He furiously threw his hands around as he shouted.

Someone would have to save him now because Carmela was entirely engulfed in flames.

Her face was on fire and her hands were clumped into tight fists. She huffed deeply, blowing up the strands of hair that had fallen to her face.

"Arrogant f-freak, huh? Stinky feet, HUH? Do you WANT TO DIE?!" She shouted and lunged for his curly hair; grabbing it tightly between her fists. Taehyung yelped in pain.

" Ah-AHH! Hey! What are you-- What the fuck is wrong with you?"

He grabbed her waist with one hand and her fingers in his hair and tried to pull her off of him as gently as he could. She continued to fire curses at him until a black car pulled up in front of them.

Carmela turned her head and immediately softened her fingers wrapped around Taehyung's curly hair, gently patting and smoothing the strands instead.

A plump women in a fancy attire and gorgeously piled hair stepped out of the car. She walked towards them with her high heels and crossed her arms in front of her. Aunt Kass's eyes fell to Taehyung's hands at Carmela's waist and she broke into a wide smile, clapping her hands together.

"My, my! This is only the first date, mis niños! Be patient, please!"

The plump woman rushed closer to them as the two quickly let go of eachother and stepped back, exchanging death stares.

Aunt Kass turned to her and Carmela quickly stretched her mouth into her signature sweet smile and accepted her aunt's hug. She briskly stepped away and pleaded Taehyung not to say anything about what had happened. She'd be dead meat if her aunt found out about her behaviour with all her blind dates. Taehyung gave her an annoyed scowl and rubbed his head.

"Wait, it's not what you think Maam-" He was cut off when Carmela punched him 'playfully' on the arm, laughing loudly. She smiled at her aunt and lowered her head, staring at the floor shyly.

"It's okay Tae, she already saw us, we don't need to make excuses..." She giggled as her aunt squealed. Carmela internally puked and thought of a plan she would later use to get rid of this guy.

Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows and opened his mouth, but when he saw the dangerous stare Carmela was giving him behind her aunt, he quickly closed it again.

"Oh! Well you don't know how happy I am that my niece here has finally liked someone! Uh... not that she hasn't dated, she HAS, she just um, wasn't very serious?" Her aunt nervously coughed before taking Carmela's arm harshly in her red taloned fingers.

"Sorry Mr. Kim! I hope you don't mind but we are in a bit of a hurry! Carmela here will call you later and make more plans so that you can-" Aunt Kass winked as Carmela puked in her mouth, "-finish up what you started!"

She ended with a whisper and dragged her green-faced niece to the car.

Carmela quickly climbed inside and switched the windows to black shaded ones before collapsing in the seat. She was so furious at that stupid boy, I mean, why did he have to come out? Asshole wanted to prove a point or something? Fine then. I got a point to prove too.

As soon as her aunt sat next to her in the back and shut the door, Carmela broke into a sob, burying her face in her hands. Aunt Kass yelped and cupped her cheeks.

"What's wrong, my love? What happened?"

Carmela sniffed and continued sobbing.

"You don't even know what was going on! You don't even know who he is! Why did you have to embaress me like that?" She cried in her hands as her aunt gasped.

"What? Mr. Kim? What did he do?"

"He-he has a wife! She walked in on us as I was about to confess my feelings and she-she yelled at meeee!" Carmela fake cried.

"W-WHAT? Wait a minute, but you guys were just hugging weren't you?"

"No! He was grabbing me and threatening me not to tell anyone he had a wife, especially YOU!" Carmela's sobs turned to screams as she struggled to keep herself from laughing out loud.

Her aunt scoffed and huffed angrily.

"I can't believe it! Just wait Mr. Kim, if I won't show you... puta..." And with that her aunt climbed out of the car and slammed the door shut.

Carmela peered out the window and removed her hands from her face, laughing as Aunt Kass ran up to Taehyung and grabbed him by the hair, swearing in Spanish.

The driver up front turned in his seat and gave a puzzled but amused look to the evil laughing girl behind him.

Carmela glared at the old man.

"What do you think you're looking at Jerome?"
