After we had finished dinner Carl went to the forge and I was sitting next to Angle on the opposite side of us Talor was sitting.
I asked Angle " Don't you want to play in these big rooms?"
" No I want to play with you." she answered.
I wasn't surprised at that answer. I knew she would say something like that. My sister always answered like that whenever I asked her if she wanted to play by herself.
Anyways afterwards I told Talor " Weren't you supposed to tell us about the mutants?"
"Ohh yes." he started explaining " So there are 4 types of mutant animal. Normal mutant, mega mutant, superior mutant and lastly perfect mutant."
Afterwards he took a paper out of his pocket and went on explaining " Hmm... so it is estimated that there are 26.1 million species of normal mutants, 2.9 million species of mega mutant, only 100 superior mutants and only two perfect mutant.-"
I had to ask " Who estimated these?"
Talor answered " Why, our friend researcher. He was a biological researcher."
"Hmm... How do you know these estimates are correct?" I asked.
He explained " His estimates has never been incorrect."
"Hmm... What is his name?" I asked.
" Ziou Huang, You should know his name." He answered.
" Ohh... He!? You were friends with him!? He was the third greatest scientist of the world. I had to do research on him for my project of college. He was interviewed many times on international TV, though he refused to show his face. Well you are right that his estimates are always correct." I answered with a bit of excitement.
To be honest, when I was at college I was a fan of him. It was because of him I was reading biology.
Though I had read every stream of science, just my certifications are on bio statistics, though I don't think I can do biostatistics as good as I did on college. It needs practice.
"Yes, we were friends with him. Anyways I should continue."
Talor continued explaining " The normal mutants have one of their attributes more than their normal counterparts, seeing them one can easily tell what they are better at."
" Normally the mutants that have shells or scales their shell's or scales' hardness increases."
" The animals like lions get a strength boost."
" The animals like wolves have a greater intelligence than there normal counterparts. They are sometimes even able to make better stretegy than humans."
"The only exception are the insects, they don't have any mega or superior mutant species, but their normal mutant species have a lower intelegents and senses but their strength and the hardness of their exoskeleton is greater than their normal counterparts."
" Then there are mega mutants. The mega mutants have every single attributes of there more than their normal counterparts but, one of there attributes are over the top."
" The normal mutants can't kill a mega mutant."
" They can be killed with a good enough stretegy though."
" Then we get to superior mutants. Their every attribute are greater than their normal counter parts and 3 of their attributes are over the top. But overall they are almost the same as mega mutants. A mega mutant maybe able to kill a superior mutant, but mega mutants can't kill a superior mutant if they mutated from the same species."
"Most of the superior mutants died in the first year because of the excessive mutation that they endure. Only a hundred of them were able to survive atleast for a year, their number maybe smaller than estimated. There is no way they have more than a 100 individuals left."
" Superior mutants are much more deficult to kill. One will need better equipment to kill them, they cannot be killed only by stretegy. Though with good enough weapon one can easily kill them even without a great stretegy."
"At the last we get to perfect mutants. As their name suggests they are almost perfect. their Every attribute are over the top. No mutant can kill a perfect mutant."
" The mutation they go through is very painful, and very harsh. They mutant too much so that they doesn't totally resembles their normal counterparts. One can't distinguish their real species even by DNA test. They only have the outline of their normal counterparts."
" Killing them is almost impossible, one will need the best weapon, stretegy and strength. Trying to kill them alone will certainly be the death sentence for the killer, they could succeed in killing that mutant but they will definitely die in the process."
" Only 50 perfect mutants survived the first week and after a year their was only two left."
" No human survived any type of mutation, our DNA code is too perfect and fragile for us to survive any big mutation, and as you may have noticed, no mutation is small."
" Normal and mega mutants includes microbes and trees too, though the microbes mutated to attack the mutants as they are the most abundant and the number of normal species are decreasing very fast."
"Hmm... I see" I said " So what did 'he' estimated about human survival?"
" He said something very confusing, ' if we, humans don't loose hope and believe in humanity and don't betray each other we will survive, but if we can't do such a thing, we won't survive'."
" I see." I said.
'Betrayal' That made my hope of surviving 3 times smaller.
Afterwards I asked Angle " should we play now?"
She answered " yeah."
" Ok, so what should we play?... What about hide and seek?" I asked.
" I would like to play hide and seek." she answered.
" Ok I'll be den. You go hide I'll count to hundred, and then I'll find you." I said.
She replied " Ok." and ran out of the room.
When her footsteps can not be heard I asked Talor " What do you think? Would we be able to survive?"
He answered " To be honest I don't think we will survive."
After a bit of silence I asked " Doesn't it makes you angry on me that I took an active part in the desolation of the world?"
He answered " Why would I be angry on you, you just did what you was told to, you didn't had a choice. And anyways the war happened because the countries provoked each other, The one who should be blamed for this would be the leaders of our countries, not you."
Afterwards I shouted " I'm coming!"
As I went through the door I only whispered this one thing " Your statement won't change my opinion, sorry."
As I was going through the halls I was thinking of the war.
I was thinking about The truth about my part in the first nuclear war.
The first fault that I ever made.
