Chapter 2 - Chapter 1

"Take that!"

BAM!

During an early morning sparring session, Y/n had gone forward and landed a hard punch to the face of his older brother. Sage.

"Forget about someone!" Y/n's younger brother, Neros, yelled as he came in for a hard knee to the stomach.

Making Y/n spit out saliva from the surprising amount of pain that came into that strike.

"HYA!" Neros continued.

Kicking the side of his brother's face. Sending Y/n into a mountain and causing a loud explosion around the area.

Neros then turned as he went for Sage. Who was already prepared to attack and/or defend at any given moment.

"HA!" They both continued to yell as they struck each other full force across the face.

Almost knocking each other out before the confrontation came to a quick end. They felt some shaking and from a distance, they could hear Y/n breaking out of the inside of the mountain.

"HAA!" He finally freed himself after some moments, he set his eyes on the other two. "I'm not done yet!" Y/n powered up even further.

Charging up his ki, and from the looks of it, he was going to unleash his ultimate attack. Neros and Sage did the same, except, they teamed up to make it a 2 on 1 situation.

"I see how it is. LAST IM-" Y/n was about to unleash his attack before the scene was interrupted.

"STOP!" Y/n's' father, Ceric, was watching from below. "What are you trying to do?! Kill each other!"

The three looked at each other in confusion.

"It doesn't really look like your sparring!" Ceric shouted.

Still, neither Y/n, Sage, or Neros responded.

"Come on. Let's go home your mother has made us dinner." Ceric sighed.

Once that was heard the three brothers powered down. Finishing the fight in a draw as they followed their father back home.

The voyage was around fifteen minutes. Y/n along with the other two boys always trained far away from home. Specifically, the Holuwa Mountains so they wouldn't cause any type of trouble around town.

Once everyone returned back home Ceric went up and knocked on the door. "Hello, honey we're home."

Y/n's mother, Kayle, opened the door. "Welcome back, dinners ready." She leaned forward and kissed Ceric on the cheek.

"Good. I'm pretty sure we're all eager to eat this delicious dinner you've prepared for us," He replied.

"Speaking of that, where were you?" She asked.

"Training." Y/n answered.

Kayle walked forward and noticed the smell of Y/n's, Neros', and Sage's training gis. They reeked. "Well, that explains the horrible smell. Now, the three of you, go take a shower before you stink up the room."

The brothers groaned as they entered the house. One by one they all went to the bathroom, first Sage, then Neros, then Y/n. Y/n may have been last but that didn't bother him at all. But what did was the fact that his food would've gone cold after he finished cleaning up.

'Aw, why didn't I just eat it before showering.' He thought as he showered in cold water.

After a while, he got out of the shower and quickly changed into a new gi. Y/n made his way downstairs to find a cold dish. He poked his food with a fork before looking around and spotting the microwave.

"Yeah let's just heat this up." Y/n said.

After 10 minutes of munching on some steak, Y/n cleaned the area and left upstairs to relax for the day. He wasn't planning on leaving the house.

"Not so fast, here you go." Kayle had stopped him in his tracks and handed Y/n a grocery list.

"What's this?" He looked at it, slightly confused.

After looking around he noticed that Sage and Neros also had one.

"It's a grocery list," Kayle finally answered.

"For what? Isn't there plenty of food in the fridge to last us another 2 weeks." Y/n thought.

"Nope, it's all gone," Kayle told him.

"What? How?" Y/n was shocked.

"Don't complain, it's not like your going to do this alone." She said, going back downstairs.

Meanwhile, Y/n silently stood there looking at the list.

"Come on, let's go quickly. The faster the better." Sage spoke up.

"I guess, but are all the list full of the same items? Or are they each full of different supplies?" Y/n asked.

"By the looks of it, they probably are," Sage gave him his list for a moment before taking it back seconds later.

Neros tapped his chin before finally saying something at last, "If we're going to go far, then we should split up."

Y/n nodded in agreement, "I have the fruits and vegetables on my list. What do you guys have?"

"I've got the meats," Sage replied.

"And I'm stuck with the drinks and beverages," Neros responded.

"Wanna change?" Y/n offered.

"Nah, I'm fine. It doesn't really matter when you think about it." Neros said.

"Ok then. Let's go I guess." Y/n immediately followed Sage downstairs.

Moments later so did Neros as the three brothers exited and house and flew away. Staying together until it was time to separate. Though, they wouldn't be far from each other since all of the necessities could be found in the same market.

The Halo's market. An outdoor market that was similar to that of a swap meet since everyone was on their own selling their own homegrown fruits. But before any of the three brothers flew off to get anything Sage stopped Y/n and Neros to tell them something.

"Hey. Let's meet back in the mountains after we're done getting the provisions ok."

The two younger siblings simply nodded at the request. Before the three finally separated from each other completely.

"Let's see what's this." Y/n read out the items on the list as he walked around the fruits and vegetables section.

Grocery List #3

• 2 Cabbages

• ½ lb of Broccoli

• 6 Carrots

• An Onion

• 4 Potatoes

• 3 Tomatoes

• Strawberries

• 1 lb of Apples

• 1 lb of Bananas

• 3 pieces of Celery

• A Watermelon

• A Melon

• 10 Radishes

• 5 Turnips

From just looking at it he was able to devise a plan. For one, the watermelons, and regular melons, we're at the back next to each other.

The strawberries, bananas, and apples, were together around the front. Meanwhile, the celery, broccoli, cabbage, and tomatoes, we're located somewhere in the middle.

So from that Y/n knew what to get first... kind of. Regardless, he would still get each provision. Maybe not exactly as followed on the list, since it was completely random to start with, but at least he got the food for the family.

He continued to walk along, still not finished. After reading the list for a second time, he realized he was only halfway there.

'What? Only halfway, I need to step up my game.' Y/n thought.

He continued going along but the operation came to a halt when Y/n heard someone yell out his name.

"Hey Y/n! Y/n!"
