Chapter 3 - Chapter 2

"Hey Y/n! Y/n!"

"Huh?" Y/n turned around to see Liza, a friend of his that lived in the same neighborhood for quite some time.

"Y/n it's me, Liza." She said, walking up to him.

He scratched his head for a moment, "Oh, hi."

"Hi, that's it?" She raised a brow.

At the time Y/n was at a loss for words. It had been a long time since he'd actually seen, or hung out with her and her sisters.

He eventually opened his mouth to talk, "Well, yeah pretty much. Anyway, what are you doing here?"

"Doing the same thing as you, getting groceries," Liza answered, looking down at the bags he was holding.

Meanwhile, Y/n looked confused as it looked as if her hands were completely empty. Very different from his own situation.

"Really?" He asked. "It doesn't look like your holding anything."

"Huh- oh yeah its one of my new inventions. I'm able to store all the food I've collected into this single container." Liza pulled out a small capsule and gave it to him.

"So you're telling me that you're able to put anything you want into this little thing," Y/n was surprised, impressed, but also content at the same time.

Liza was a huge tech geek, so at this point, he wasn't going to be surprised if she came up with time travel. Though, he would still be one of those people who'd ask many questions on how she did it.

"Yep, anything. No matter how big, this will do the trick." She told Y/n.

"That's pretty cool." He extended his arm out to give it back.

But Liza refused. "Oh no, it's fine. Keep it. It'll serve of great use to you. I have more at home, and if I don't I could just make more." She insisted.

"Thanks, but I should hurry up and get the rest of the food. Sorry, but we're going to have to cut the conversation short." Y/n turned his back as he started to leave. "Maybe we could talk later."

"What's the hurry?" Liza asked.

"Well, I just want to go back home... and rest I suppose." Y/n answered.

"Re-" Just as she was about to speak Liza was interrupted.

"Liz! Liza! Where'd you go?"

Y/n turned his head to see Amina. She was Liza's older sister, but she wasn't the oldest since both of them had an even older sibling. May.

"Liz! Liz! Liza!" Amina continued to shout as she looked around.

Y/n whistled to get her attention, "She's over here." He raised one of his hands up to make it easier for Amina to spot him.

As soon as she saw him and her sister Amina came over said hi. "Hey Y/n. Long-time no see. What are you doing here?"

"The same as you two, just getting some food." Y/n said.

Throwing an apple up into the air before catching it with his hand and repeating the process. Trying to look cool in front of her.

While that happened she responded with, "It seems like you have quite a few bags. Liz, Did you tell him about that new thing of yours? The capsule thing that can carry practically anything."

"Yeah. In fact, I already gave him one." Liz smirked.

"Good," Amina turned to Y/n, giving a smile.

Y/n smiled back, though he felt a little nervous for some reason.

"Oh yeah, here it is," After a moment of silence he pulled the capsule Liza gave him out of his pocket.

He showed it Amina while he carried all the bags he had on one hand. "I don't know how to use it though."

"Want me to show you how?" Amina asked.

"Go for it." Y/n tossed her the capsule.

She caught it and looked at the bags for a moment, "Do you mind putting those bags down, and stepping away a bit?"

He complied.

"Good, now the magic happens." Amina simply threw the capsule on the floor.

Creating a small blue circle around the bags of fruits and vegetables. It was glowing for a while before it sucked in all of the food into the container.

"What the f- that was pretty cool." Y/n grabbed the capsule and moved it around his hand. Inspecting it before asking for the possibility of getting more.

"Let me...uh... here you go. Found two more." Liza handed him two.

In total, Y/n had three. Just enough for himself, Sage, and Neros.

"Alright, thanks. I'll see you guys later." Y/n started floating up into the air.

"Hey, wait." Amina grabbed onto his arm before he got the chance to leave.

"Uh, what? Something wrong?" Y/n asked.

"Well... what's the hurry?" Amina responded.

"He needs to get his rest apparently," Liza told her.

Amina turned to Y/n, "Oh, I'm guessing training really hit hard."

"Yep," He nodded.

"Are you okay though?" Amina started looking around Y/n for any injuries.

Just as she spotted a cut on his right cheek he grabbed her hands from touching it.

"It's fine, don't worry about it." Y/n said.

"If we go back to my house, " Amina began. "Then maybe we can heal-"

"No no no, I'm fine I get these every day." He told her.

She sighed as she crossed her arms after Y/n let go of her hands. "So does that mean you're still into fighting and whatnot?"

"I'm not really into it, but yeah. Why?" Y/n asked.

"Just asking. But um... Do you mind coming over to my place? Tomorrow." Amina responded.

"What for?" Y/n questioned.

Amina tapped her chin for a moment, "Well, I was thinking of getting into fighting myself. Sort of... but since I don't know much about gaining strength I wanted to see if you could help me out with training."

Y/n scratched his head, "So, together. By ourselves, or?"

"Oh, um..." Amina paused for a moment as she put her hands behind her back and looked around in thought. "Well... I was actually hoping you could teach me. If that's alright?"

"Well, I guess. But I'm not much of a teacher, so I don't know how I'll do it. But, I'll see what I can do for you." Y/n had no idea how he was going to train her, but he didn't want to say no and leave her unhappy.

He wasn't the person to.

"Aw thanks," Amina replied. "But are you sure it won't be a waste of your time or a distraction from your own training?"

"No not at all it'll be great." Y/n told her. "But when would you like to start? Today, tomorrow, next week, next month?"

"Tomorrow if possible," Amina answered.

Y/n tapped his chin, unsure if he could do tomorrow since it would be so soon, "Yeah fine by me."

Amina's smile grew as she hugged him, "Thanks."

"Hey, can I train too?" Liza spoke up and asked.

"You wanna train too?" He asked.

"Yep," Liza nodded.

'I could barely manage one person, now I have to help train two. Well, I don't have to train two I just don't wanna say no.' Y/n thought. 'But if I mess with them May will probably beat me up. Actually, she'll beat me up for hanging out with them alone in the first place. This is... kinda unfair. You know what who cares, whatever happens, happens.'

"I'll train you too then." He finally said.

"Sweet." Liza brought her clenched fist up.

"Alrighty then, see you tomorrow Y/n." Amina waved as she and her sister left.

Y/n simply waved back and walked away to get the rest of the food. Once done, he flew up and headed straight for the Holuwa Mountains. Spotting Sage, who had finished his end of the bargain.

"Hey there" Y/n flew down and landed next to him.

"Hey... wait, where's your stuff?" Sage asked.

"What do you- oh yeah... here." Y/n tossed his brother a capsule.

One of the spare ones that Liza gave him so it was all good and new.

Sage inspected the container, looking at it curiously. "So what's this thing?"

"It's a new invention Liza made, it messes with mass and stuff. It's basically able to store anything of any size into this small little capsule" Y/n explained.

"Really?" Sage raised a brow.

"Yep," Y/n nodded.

Sage shook it in his hand, "But how does it work?"

"Let me see it, I'll show you." Y/n stuck his hand out so Sage could give the capsule back to him. "First, set your things down... and move just a little bit so you won't be caught in the impact... then, throw it and..."

*POOF*

Smoke appeared around the area, blinding the two as the capsule had done its process. Once it cleared up both of them looked down to see that the provisions had disappeared. The only thing that was visible was the capsule.

Y/n crouched down to grab the small container, "Simple right."

"Pretty much," Sage replied. "I guess all we have to do now is wait for Neros."

Y/n nodded in agreement as the two waited for their younger brother to show up.

"I think I sense him. I think. I definitely feel something." After waiting for a couple of minutes Y/n picked up a read on Neros's energy.

"I sense something too." Sage rose up from his boulder, in which he was resting on for the meantime.

"Actually, I think he's already here." Y/n said.

"Why do you say?" Sage asked.

"I could sense his energy... and it's right above us." He replied.

Both of them looked up to see their younger sibling coming down with his portion of the provisions.

"Looks like I'm late to the party," Neros noted, landing in front of them.

"Not really, you only got here like three or four minutes after me," Y/n told him. "So not that long."

"Actually it was five," Sage said.

"Was it?" Y/n asked.

"Oh, well that's not so bad actually. Anyway, where your bags? Where is your stuff?" Neros looked confused, seeing how they had nothing in hand.

"What do you- oh right. Uh, Sage can you show him how to store the drinks into the capsule?" Y/n reached into his pocket and tossed Sage another one.

"Alright." He grabbed it and made sure to back away as Y/n told him to earlier. "Put the stuff down," Sage ordered.

Neros obligated, putting his stuff down as he moved away. "I'm still a little confused can someone explain."

"From what I know this small capsule can just store things of any size and that into itself. Or inside itself, however, you say it." Sage simply threw the capsule and showed Neros the entire process of how it worked.

He observed attentively, his eyes slightly widening at what just happened.

"Woah, it's like... revolutionary. It's actually pretty cool. Shopping will totally be easier now." Neros was impressed by the capsule's ability.

"Let's go home then," Sage insisted.

"Alright, but what should we say when they see that we've only brought three containers and no food?" Y/n asked.

"We'll figure it out." Sage went up into the air and began flying home.

Y/n and Neros followed suit.

Later when the three brothers arrived home, they could hear their mother yelling out- "Where's the food!?"

At the time the three of them were in their rooms but instantly came down to the kitchen on command.

"The food is in those little containers," Sage pointed.

Kayle turned to the capsule as she became more confused. "What?"

"The capsules, the food is stored in those little capsules." Y/n tried to explain.

"Am I blind because those things don't look like they're big enough to hold more than one strawberry." She was baffled, in no way could those small things hold such a great amount.

"What's up with all this commotion?" Ceric asked as he came downstairs.

"Do you believe that one of these can hold all of the food we need for a week?" Kayle asked him.

"No, not really, it's tiny." He responded, inspecting the container. "Unless someone messed with space and mass itself."

"So I'm not crazy," Kayle responded.

"Seems not," Ceric replied as he gave the capsule back.

"Just throw it at the ground or something." Y/n came over and took the capsule from his mother.

Moving back for safety so there would be space for the container to do its thing.

POOF!

"What the?" Kayle was taken aback as the food suddenly appeared.

Meanwhile, Ceric was just curious about what just happened.

"Boom! Magic." Neros yelled, raising his arms up for a second as he grabbed an apple.

Ceric turned to his youngest son. "So how does the capsule work? How does it function?"

He raised a finger up as he continued to eat the apple.

"Well, the basic rundown is that this small little thing I just threw is able to store anything of any size, big or small, in itself." Y/n spoke up.

"How?" Ceric raised a brow.

"I don't know a friend made it," Y/n answered.

"Was it that one little girl? Talena's youngest one?" Kayle asked.

"Yeah, her names Liza, or Liz for short but I don't think anyone calls her that," Y/n told her.

"Marvelous! She's quite the genius." Kayle replied.

"Yep, quite the genius." Y/n responded.

After that brief conversation about groceries, capsules, and even Liza's intellect everyone returned to their previous activities. Y/n, specifically thought about the next day.

'Would I be a good teacher? Can I even handle it? Man, this is nerve-wrecking, but maybe it's just me. I don't know. Well... I guess we'll just have to see how it goes tomorrow.' He thought.

Sitting up and clearing his mind for a moment before finally going to sleep.
