"What do you mean? King? How?"
"It's as you said, the prince is using his mastery of hot and cold to legitimize his claim to the throne, so all we need to do is take advantage of that and the fact that you're an orphan to seize the throne. That will both help me fulfill my oath and, well, you'll be the king. I know that you were mistreated in that orphanage, so I'm sure you have some things you can fix with power."
"What?" Yomo was completely dumbfounded
"I said: 'Do you want to be the king of Gluaze?' You don't have to answer now, but with my mechanical marvels, I'm sure we can do it."
"I-I'm going to go think about it." Flabbergasted at the suddenly treasonous conversation, Yomo left.
"Welp, back to work." I started towards my crumbled golem
'You're insane, you just go back to work after starting a plot to overthrow part of the diarchy?'
'Wait, I thought Gluaze was a monarchy. Who's the second ruler?'
'Well, the Cein is, She rules over all of the daily taxes and duties while the King rules over the military and overarching economics. A fun fact is that if the Cein doesn't agree with the King or Queen, they usually just lower taxes.'
'Where do you find this stuff out? I've never studied it.'
'I use your body to study the textbooks in your room while you sleep.'
'Remind me not to ever ask questions.'
"No more distractions, today I build the head!" I started to self-motivate.
And so I did, I spent the entire night and most of the day working on the golem's head.
"Evaluate" I spoke the new command word I added with the last batch of optimizations.

"Huh, that's an error, I've gotta fix that." I pulled up the spirit paper of Golem Glass and corrected the error.
"Dangit it's always that stupid semicolon!" I sighed "Evaluate"

"I need to fix that eyesight, I wear glasses, my golem shouldn't need them too. I'm going to go get Laura, I'll copy her eyes, cause ya know, she can see."
Orin nodded and stopped pinning me to my chair with his tiny form. A long walk later and we ended up on the upper floors of my tree in the student lounge, where Laura was reading.
"Hey, I don't know how to say this, but uh..."
Laura's brain jumped to the worst for a half-second before recovering.
"Spit it out."
"I need to analyze you."
"What?"
"My golem needs eyes, so I need to analyze you."
"You can't have my eyes!" She shouted a little too loudly, everyone in the room looked at us.
"I don't need them, weirdo, I need to copy them so my golem can see."
Laura gave me a suspicious glare and asked "Really?"
"Yes! I'm not some mad scientist."
"Alright, but let's ditch the rumor mill." She slipped her knife back into her pocket.
We left the student lounge and returned to my dorm.
"Ok, you sit here and I'll cast my spell. Rive." I empowered the rune with its name and started using my Eneru sight for a clearer picture of the eye.
It took two minutes for me to make a one-to-one replica of Laura's eye, and another minute for me to lay down and take a nap. I woke up the next morning and decided it was time to work on the arms of my second golem, the eyes now had an 'excellent' rating according to Golem Glass.
"Hey, Orin, what's with these packages?"
"Your dad sent them, remember? He's sending you a new spirit item for every day you remain out of your workshop."
I opened one of the boxes and within there was a stack of spirit paper four centimeters thick. In another, a crystal sphere with an unknowable purpose. In the last was a hammer and chunk of ore as big as my head.
"Is he trying to get me to break another defensive array? Cause so help me I will if it means I can use this!"
"Well, if you make it the whole week, you will get a bunch more materials to work with."
"Dangit dad! He put a carrot on his stick, and I can't even ignore it."
'Fine, since I'm just going to spend my break basically making a box-standard golem, I'd better make it well.'
I started on the golem's arms, I hadn't even gotten breakfast or left my room yet, but that didn't stop me, nor did Ward's snoring. I weaved muscles and tendons like a professional tailor, using my own arms as a model and scaling them up immensely. Two days I didn't show up for lessons, and every time they sent someone to come get me, they would receive an excuse from Professor James that let me skip class. When the dust settled, I spoke the command.
"Evaluate."

The results were good, but nowhere near the capabilities that Denny had, the wood was simply not good enough. After my two-day all-nighter spree, I fell into Orin's fur and slept like a baby, Ward also finally got some rest, my tools were loud and he was not a heavy sleeper so ever since I started he was on the spree with me.
