Chapter 22 - Grave Keeper

After they finished closing up the pub. Abigail went to bed in a guest room in the pub. Liam and Logan where walking through a graveyard on the way to Logan's Place.

"Ah, Logan? Why are we here?" asked Liam.

"We are almost there," said Logan. They keep walking till they get to a wooden shed in the back of the graveyard which is next to the church.

"Here, we are," said Logan.

"So, you live in this shed in a graveyard?" asked Liam. "This has to be a sick joke since you were called the immortal."

"I live here just to be close to Ann, if she need me to be there quickly," said Logan.

"It make since you said that. But does she know?" asked Liam.

"Yeah, she said as long as I help dig graves for the dead. she is fine with it," said Logan.

They enter the shed in the graveyard. Which they see is a one room bedroom. Logan had his bed, a wardrobe, a wood stove and other thing he could use in this shed and seems to be very organized in a small area. Liam heads over and sits on the couch he has in there.

"Wow, you made this work," said Liam.

"I told you. It all I need here," said Logan. Liam takes his boots off and lays down on the couch.

"So, how long have been proposing to Ann?" asked Liam.

"At least over two thousand time or at least around that," said Logan. "Since we got here after the heist."

"That long, huh?" questioned Liam. "Here I thought you two would be happily married with a kid or two."

"Maybe in another time line," said Logan.

"Yeah," said Liam.

The Next Day it was night time and Logan and Abigail were at the Pub.

"Where is Liam?" asked Logan.

"He said he wanted to go for a little walk," said Abigail.

"I see. Probably wanted to explore a bit," said Logan.

Meanwhile at the church, Ann was standing by the podium reading the bible when she heard footsteps where she sees Liam.

"Liam? What brings you to the house of god at this hour?" asked Ann.

"I came to help you," said Liam.

"Help me? What are you talking about?" questioned Ann.

"Like I said I have come to save you from blaming yourself for what happened to Johnny," said Liam.

"I think I heard enough from you. Johnny is dead, Liam. It took me three years to finally accept that fact. I have failed him I could predicted his death," said Ann.

"Yeah, even if Johnny knew, he still would went and save me," said Liam.

"Begone, this not place for those who raise their voice against god," said Ann. "This will be your last warning, Liam."

"Sorry sis, But I am not leaving. I should of been there for you. Maybe I could help you get past Johnny's death," said Liam. "An for that I am sorry. But this is where I will finally make it up to you. I will help you open your eyes."

"Then it seems I have no choice in the matter," said Ann. She starts walking to him and grabs on the books she has holstered and opens it.

"What?" asked Liam.

"It time I tell you about our lord," said Ann. She get close and she pulls a revolver pistol out and aims for Liam and fires. Liam dodges it by a hair.

"You keep a gun in a bible?" questioned Liam.

"It time god tested you and as his loyal follower, I shall asset him and send you into paradise," said Ann.
