Recap: She clapped while walking towards him "Congratulations, you killed a White Striker Bear, it's said to be one of the most deadly creatures for even bronze classes." Leon ignored her, he dragged the bear into the cave and prepared to skin it as he heard a sound come from the cave. He turned to see what happened and what he saw shocked him greatly.
Both of them had the same idea of what the sound was when Leon looked back at Naomi who had as much of a shocked expression as Leon did, Leon stepped away from the mother bear and looked at Naomi "Those ones sell for good prices, or you can keep it and train it if you want." Leon looked back at the direction of the sound and a white cub walked out clumsily, Leon felt sad for taking the bear from its mother "What horrible person would take the bear in after it killed its mother?"
Meanwhile, Violet had started to grow hungry and she had run out of food while she waited on Leon. She had lost all hope of his return and fell into a downward spiral of sadness, Violet put the fire out and laid in the darkness, ready to pass on to meet her lover in the same place she thinks he went. She closed her eyes and waited to die by one cause or another, as she waited she imagined getting to see Leon again.
Naomi sighed and walked up to the cub "If you don't take it then I will, it won't be able to survive out here alone." Leon stood up and walked over to the cub, petting it and looking at Naomi "I guess I have to take it then, I can't trust you with him." Leon finished skinning the bear and picked up the cub to take back. Once he had everything prepared, he ran as fast as he could back to the bridge.
Leon hopped over a few aboveground roots and stopped at the bridge, Naomi followed shortly behind him "Stop following me, go back to your adventurer group and go questing or something." Naomi looked at him blankly and said rather quietly "I-I don't have one, I was actually hoping you'd join me." Leon looked back at her and frowned "And why do you think that? If you don't have a group then go back to whatever you were doing before you met me." Naomi ground her teeth then stopped and said proudly "Fine, I'll allow you to take me with you caveman. After all, your kind isn't smart enough to survive without me."
Leon sighed and muttered, "I don't have time for this, I need to get back." Leon walked across the bridge and stopped at the camp to cook some of the meat from the bear and wash the hide. Naomi eat some of the meat without permission and the cub did the same, Leon sighed and mutter again "What am I gonna do about you two." Once he reached the cave entrance he set all of his stuff down and gave the cub to Naomi who unconsciously accepted it, then ran inside.
Violet sat in the dark unmoving and her eyes closed, she continued to wish for her love to come back. She flinched as she heard a sound of the door rustling, she sprang up and ran around the corner to see what had happened, what was standing there was unbelievable. Leon looked at Violet standing in the dark, he couldn't make out her face but could tell that was her, he walked up to her and opened his arms "I'm back" Violet hadn't stopped crying from seeing him yet so when she stepped into the light, Leon saw her tears, she had grown a little in height again so now she was a decently sized short girl, Leon estimated 4'8" (~142cm) in height "I-I missed you, Idiot, you were gone for too long."
Leon walked up to her and gave her a hug, her cries grew louder as she tightly latched onto him. Leon smiled and hugged her back, she wrapped her legs around him and cried into his shirt. Leon felt his legs give out as she had a lot more unexpected weight then he remembered, Leon, laughed with Violet as they laid there on the ground.
Naomi walked in the cave and looked at Leon on the ground with Violet "Is that why you came back to this place?" Leon stopped laughing and looked at Naomi, but before he could say anything Violet gripped tightly onto his arms "Who is that? Were you cheating on me with that fat bitch?" Leon sighed and moved his hand to her hips, immediately Violet flinched and fell on him blushing and mumbling something "Sorry about her, she is a jealous person."
Naomi frowned and said while watching Violet blush on top of Leon "So you love that small thing? It doesn't have any curves as I do, what's to love?" Leon sighed and remembered that the women of this world were used as toys instead of lovers "So are you telling me, you'd rather be my lover?" Naomi jumped at the response that Leon gave, and Violet left her daze at what she heard, Leon just looked at Naomi giving a serious look.
"I-I wouldn't turn you down if you offered your hand to me, but I would never accept such a barbaric caveman as my permanent lover." Leon laughed and Violet continued to stare at Leon "So then you wouldn't care if I steal a kiss from him now would you fatty?" Violet glared at her and smirked, Naomi glared back and grinned "If you ever could flatty." Violet flinched and frowned as she looked at Leon who looked back, she stared at his lips, and slowly leaned in.
Naomi waited as she watched and right as their lips were about to touch, Naomi held Violet's head back "He's my party member now, back off, princess." Violet stands up and points at Leon "I found him first, plus you couldn't handle his otherworldly ways, he's mine." Leon sits up and sighs Naomi smiles and dodges Violet and hands right on Leon's lap, she sits on him and says "This man is mine, I need him to fight by my side, he's too powerful to leave alone now. Plus, I bet he would enjoy something more..." She lifts her breasts a little and looks at Leon "Sexy, right?"
Leon sighs and completely ignores her, he puts his hands on her thighs to lift her off of him but she flinches at him "S-see, he wants me more than you." Leon picks her up like he originally planned and sets her next to him "I don't want you more than Violet, I have a promise with her. Plus, you just followed me here so why would you even love me so much?"
Violet smirks and Leon stands and sits by the fire, Naomi grumbles and sits by the fire too, Violet walks over and sits down on Leon's lap after he sets the fire up. Naomi sees Leon has no objection to Violet sitting on his lap "W-well, I can be your concubine or your second wife. I just need your help."
Leon thought about how polygamy isn't taboo in this world, I don't wanna accept her offer but... "Why do you want me to fight with you so badly?" Naomi looks down and sighs before answering "I-I need someone to help me free my friend from slavery, they kidnapped her and she doesn't have anyone but me." Violet lays back on Leon, who just stares at Naomi as she explained "So then, why would you offer to become my wife?"
Naomi looks at Leon with a confused expression and Violet sighs as she explains "My husband isn't from around here, where he's from, love is more emotional than sexual, and men don't use women for whatever they want." Naomi smiles and Leon puts his arms behind his head as he lays back against the rock wall "So then I'll pay you or something, I just wanna save my friend."
Leon raises an eyebrow "Just cause I'm not all about sexual interaction doesn't mean I don't like you." Violet flinches and looks up at him, he just grins and winks at her "F-Fine, I will fight by your side then." Leon sighed and thought of the best way to explain it "I want you and your friend to stay with us, we will have this as the hideout for our group. It'll be a place you can rest at or hide out at if things get rough again. In return, we will join your party"
Naomi looked at Leon with shock on her face "B-but that would be doing something without a reward." After a long pause and a look of thought on Naomi's face she continues "I was raised believing all men are rotten and crooked, but to think that some are like you fills me with pleasure." Naomi smiled and Violet rolled over and whispered into Leon's ear "Why are we allowing her and her friend to stay here? This place is our home."
Leon looked at Violet and told her out loud "Well, I don't plan on staying here forever, I will probably stay while we develop this place to be safe enough to retreat to but after that, we will have to earn more money to survive so we will adventure." Violet sighed and kissed Leon on the cheek "I would follow you to the end of the world darling, whatever you do I will too."
