White Lotus Village, a well known place that produces White Lotus Flowers that is farm and uses for cosmetics towards women that is sold in the Spring Jade City.
The village population was roughly a hundred people with the strongest among them being a Peak Blood Cleansing enough to protect from weak monsters and bandits.
Wang Jie saw the local villagers who were curious to see them and waved at them as they kept on their journey to their new home. In the distance, he was able to spot an elderly man waiting to speak with them and halted the wagon.
"Hello, I am Meng Hai, the village head of the White Lotus Village, may I ask who you may be?" He humbly spoke yet also firm showing that he is willing to throw his life if anything goes wrong.
Wang Jie carefully observed the elderly man who appeared rather frail with only a few more years left in his life yet he was obviously stronger than many.
His intuition and solely based from what he can discern is that the old man is the Peak Blood Cleansing Cultivator yet he was nearing his ends. Wang Jie received a good impression of the elderly man.
"I am Wang Jie." He introduces himself followed by his soon to be wives.
"My name is Zhang Mei." She spoke softly.
"Hi! I'm Liu Ying." Her tone was always cheerful.
"We're headed to the Misty Boundary Mountain." Wang Jie said immediately saw the old man's eyes lit up.
"Oh, you're the new owner of the land? It's been a long time since someone took the place, so you're the reason why they recently built a home there." Old man Meng Hai stroked his beard feeling nostalgic.
"Well, I won't hold the three of you for long and we wholeheartedly welcome you to our Village." He smiles cupping his hand to formally welcome them.
"Likewise. I hope to meet the rest of the village soon."
Wang Jie seems intimidating because of how elusive his demeanor can be. The old man nodded, finding he was a mature young man with the brief exchange they had.
'Those two ladies should be powerful experts…but the young man with them, despite being a mortal, had a temperament as if everything was within his grasp.'
Meng Hai thought having lived for a long time and dreamt to be a powerful cultivator only for his dream to be squash because of his poor qualification and intimidated by the gap compared to other cultivators.
He only reached Peak Blood Cleansing and felt he was unable to win against the young man who was mortal. He wouldn't even survive a single glance from the two women if they wanted to end him.
'It's good that his demeanor is different from those I've seen.'
The disdain and scornful gaze of those who are powerful are imprinted into his mind but the young man was completely different. He was mortal yet shrouded in a profound veil of mystery.
'I wonder why those women follow a mortal? Perhaps…yes those two are his wives.'
Meng Hai smiled thinking about finally having people that may protect the White Lotus village once he is gone.
Moments later Wang jie and his soon to be wives continued their way and a few minutes later arrived at a flat land with a beautiful view of the White Lotus village below and distance away was the Spring Jade City.
Their new home had walls to prevent people from entering and inside was a simple home and had everything that they needed to live.
Wang Jie unmount from the wagon and began to remove the horse and place it in a stable to rest. He carefully observed everything, seeing space to plant some crops and other necessities.
The place was reasonable and wasn't falling apart. This was all prepared by his father having suspected that something would happen like this.
"Woah, this place is more beautiful than I imagined."
Liu Ying said inspecting their new home saw there was a garden, some fields, a well, and basically everything they needed.
"Liu Ying, be careful! We can't afford to ruin anything." Zhang Mei chased after her sister's wives who giggled.
"Hahaha catch me if you can!" Liu Ying playfully said as Wang Jie watched this unfold with a smile. He let them be and chased after them to explore their new home.
The wooden door creaked open, revealing a modest interior adorned with woven tapestries and earthenware. The simple wooden windows, casting a warm glow upon the bare wooden floors.
As they explored each room, they discovered the charm within the modest dwelling – a small courtyard that can house potted flowers, and a cozy sleeping chamber adorned with embroidered silk.
"This place holds a certain serenity."
Zhang Mei remarked, running her fingers over the wooden furniture.
"It feels like a haven away from the bustling city life."
She added seeing how far they were from the gaze of ridicule.
"Indeed, this is what I always wanted."
Liu Ying nodded in agreement, her eyes sparkling with newfound appreciation.
Wang Jie smiled, pleased with their positive response and wrapped his arms around their waist.
"Let us embrace this new chapter of our lives together. We shall cultivate the fields, cook meals as a family, and cherish the moments of joy within these walls."
Wang Jie was grateful to his father for giving him a reasonable place to live and was expecting a lot worse, like a home made from wood and straw.
As the day unfolded, the trio worked together to settle into their new life. They brought their stuff into their bedrooms, shared laughter in the kitchen while preparing a modest meal, and enjoyed the serenity of their surroundings.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm palette across the sky, Wang Jie, Liu Ying, and Zhang Mei sat together in the courtyard.
The next day, Wang Jie along with his two soon to be wives went to meet the villagers. The air buzzed with anticipation, and whispers spread through the gathering villagers about them.
Village head Meng Hai, a wise and elderly man with a long white beard, stood at the entrance, a welcoming smile on his face. His eyes sparkled with curiosity as he extended his hands in greeting.
"Welcome, Wang Jie, Liu Ying, and Zhang Mei!" Meng Hai smiled.
"Thank you, Village Head Meng Hai. We are grateful for your warm welcome."
Wang Jie bowed respectfully. Meng Hai gestured towards the villagers, who had gathered to catch a glimpse of the newcomers.
"Our White Lotus Village is like a big family. Everyone is eager to meet you and learn from your experiences."
The villagers approached with open hearts, offering gifts of freshly harvested fruits and vegetables. Zhang Mei graciously accepted the offerings, expressing her gratitude with a warm smile.
Liu Ying engaged in conversation with the villagers, quickly breaking the ice with her infectious laughter.
Meng Hai led the group through the narrow pathways of White Lotus Village, sharing stories of the village's history and traditions. The villagers, young and old alike, listened attentively, absorbing the tales with enthusiasm.
They all felt welcome and happy that the villagers were a lot easier to get along with than nobles who were filled with ego and narcissism.
"What's your plan for now? I have a few places I can recommend for you three to work and get some solid income."
Meng Hai said as they were sharing some simple drink and having roasted boar that was recently hunted by the men in the village.
Though none of them were cultivators, they were still sturdier than men from earth due exposure in the Essence of the world known as Qi.
Qi is the energy produced by the world and has countless types of Qi from wood, fire, ice, wind, and countless more waiting to be cultivated.
The villagers weren't afraid of Liu Ying and Zhang Mei because they couldn't sense their Qi and could only see what their eyes provided.
"I can cook, is there any place I can work in?" Wang Jie's knowledge in culinary wasn't the best but he is able to recall some of them and might be a great help.
He is also knowledgeable in how to manage business and can wait until he can make some things to be sold. Wang Jie holds on to his earth life knowledge to avoid being used by the Chen family.
'It's fortunate that I have a good memory and my transmigration didn't affect me that much.' Wang Jie thought while the village stroked his beard.
"Ah, there's one, it's run by a mother and daughter pair. I think they would be delighted to have you there. Maybe your wives can work at the place as well." Meng Hai said, suggesting a place that needed some help.
"Is that so? I'll check out the place. Also, Liu Ying and Zhang Mei aren't my wife yet. We are going to head back to Spring Jade City to have a simple wedding in a couple of days." Wang Jie said.
"Oh, the village is more than happy to help prepare the celebration."
Meng Hai was doing this out of kindness and not because he wanted to curry favor with them. He was old enough to understand that the young man had recently faced some trouble and wanted to help like he often does with the villagers.
