Although I didn't know my team very well, them being next to me felt really good. Insunya kept mumbling about whatever, Sukai and Liz laughed at whatever Insunya was saying, and Roman just kept quiet most of the time. I mean really, the guy never smiles.
"I know you're not deaf," I say to Roman as we follow Insunya.
Silence from Roman.
"Look, we are on the same team so you better deal with it?" I say.
"You think I have a problem with you being on my team?" Roman asked with a straight face, still keeping pace with Insunya.
"don't you?" I asked.
He shook his head, "as long as you stay out of my way, we'll do just fine,"
Of course, he'd say that.
Insunya stopped.
"From now on, I want you guys to call me master or teacher Insunya," He grinned.
"I'm not calling you master or teacher," Sukai refuted.
"It's your first order, as your...leader," He smiled.
The leader had too much emphasis on it.
"I want you guys to introduce yourself," Insunya said. "The master and teacher thing was just a little joke."
"Big brother is trying to be funny, don't mind him," Liz whispered.
We all nodded in agreement.
"We already know each other," Sukai said. "No need for us to introduce ourselves."
"What's Reids last name?" Insunya asked Sukai.
"Who's Reid?" Sukai asked back.
Ouch.
"The guy with the red hair, standing behind you?"
I waved awkwardly.
She had the face saying, "oh, I had forgotten that you even existed."
"oh, the rat huh," Sukai shook her head. "going all talking all big and mighty,"
"Is there a problem with that?" Insunya asked. "Because I think it's great to have ambitions,"
"I think it's great too, but.." Sukai stopped.
"Let it be realistic?" Insunya said. "We are a team now, as of right now, I am your father and you guys are my children."
That sounds weird. It sounds nice when Storm says it, but not Insunya.
"I don't wanna be your kid," Roman said.
"Huh, why not?"
"Just, no."
Insunya chuckled, "So Roman, what is your goal?"
"To be named, Firelord of the fire nation, that is my main goal."
"So you have other side goals then?" I asked.
Roman hesitated to answer.
"No," He said.
"We know your goal Reid, so what about you guys," Insunya turned to Sukai and Liz.
"I want to be an S-class sentinel, "Liz said. "So I will be your right-hand woman when you become the Paladin,"
Insunya smiled, "that's really sweet, and you?"
"I don't know in all honesty," Sukai said. She looked over at me. "I'm sorry for criticizing you,"
Criticizing?
"It's all good," I say.
"Is Red being a bother to you guys?" Bell asked as she and her team approached us.
"No, far from that," Insunya said.
"I'm older than you Bell, I'm your elder," I reminded her.
She laughed.
"Hey Christian," I greeted. "I feel bad for you, having to deal with them both all the time," I said, taking about Bell and Inita.
"They are both nice to me, I don't know what you did to them though," Christian said.
"You're Soliel right?" I asked the guy standing next to Christain.
"Nice to meet you Red," He said. "They like talking about you," He whispered in my ears.
"They do huh," I smiled.
"So, what's for dinner?" Love, the team leader of Bells squad asked.
Dinner? I checked the time on my phone. It's almost 4 pm.
What the hell?
"We can always get barbecue," Insunya said.
"Hey, Christian, why is Love asking Insunya what's for dinner?" I whispered to Christian.
"Oh, probably because they're married," Christian said.
Married? Them.
I then noticed the ring on Insunya's finger.
He looks kinda young to be married.
"Whatever, barbecue it is then, but it's on you tonight," Love agreed.
"Of course, Love," Insunya chuckled.
He's a weird guy.
"Move-in day is tomorrow, so you guys better start packing." Love said. "And classes start on Monday, your teachers will then explain everything then,"
"You guys aren't our teachers in class?" Soliel asked.
"No, we're just leaders for your squad. Although we are responsible for things like combat training, we aren't teaching you things like math, basic orizambi skills, history, and all that crap. There are professors there for it,"
"Oh, alright,"
"Some team leaders teach their students' basic orizambi skills since that revolves around combat but it's up to us to decide," Love added.
Makes sense, but I still can't believe Insunya is married.

Every student had a room for themself and a shared bathroom with someone else. I shared my bathroom with Soliel, who was next door me and Roman who was just across from me. Monday morning came and I hurried to get dressed and get to class on time. Didn't wanna be late on my first day. I know my luck.
Our class was just a few minutes walks away from the boys' dorm.
"good luck and have a great day," Aunt Mary texted me as I was on my way to class.
"Thanks, have a nice day too," I texted back.
I miss her.
I got to class about 5 minutes before the bell rang, and the room was full of familiar faces. There were tags on every desk which had our names on it.
"Desk in the middle huh," I said to myself as soon as I figured where my desk was. Liz was next to me, and Eden was in front of me."
Roman and Sukai were on the same row as I was. I think every team was on the same rows because Bell sat next to Christian.
"Let's do our best today," Liz smiled at me.
She's so cute and nice.
"Yeah," I said.
"you're so awkward," She smiled. "it's adorable,"
She called me adorable, my head is about to explode.
"Glad to see that all you are here in one piece," The professor said as he entered the classroom. "I'm Professor Kuban, your homeroom teacher, you can call me Mr. K too if you forget my name."
He loosed his tie and sat on his desk. "Those tags on your desk are your identification, so don't lose it. It also serves as a credit card, so all the money you get from missions can only be used through that. But if you lose it, come see me. Mondays and Tuesdays will be regular class, the rest of the week, you'll be with your team. Training, missions, whatever your leader wishes to do. So right now, I'd like for you guys to introduce yourself, your name, what type of Orizambi you use, device or no. What you prefer to be called by, whatever. We'll start here,"
He pointed at the first desk, which was Initas.
Don't they know themselves already? I asked myself in my thoughts.
"I'm Inita Pasan of the Phoenix Style, I am a Phoenix-style firebinder, it's nice to meet you guys, and see some of you once again, and yes, I have a device."
"Would you like to talk about how to gained your device?" Mr. K asked.
That's kinda personal.
"No, sir," She sat down.
"That was kinda insensitive of me," Mr. K apologized.
To gain a device, the user must suffer and must've gone through great pain.
"I'm Christian Ballack, I'm an enhancer, nice to meet you all,"
"I'm Rhoda Belle, with an e, but call me Bell, with no e. I practice the healing arts and it's nice to meet all of you,"
"I'm Soliel Rolen, I practice beast mimicry, it's nice to meet all of you,"

"I'm Sandra Suchel, I use acid, and I don't have a device,"
"I'm Richard Allens, and my orizambi is speed,"

"I'm Deborah Suchel, I practice puppetry,"

"I'm Reid Flannel, but call me Red, I use the 5 elements, and I do have a device, nice to meet you all,"
"When you refer to the 5 elements, can you state them please,"
"Fire, water, air, earth and lightening,"

I shook my head.
"Alright, lets go on."
"I'm Elizabeth Tonan, call me Liz, I'm a waterbinder, but an ice sunon, I have a device, and it's nice to see all again,"
A sunon is a sub element. Example is Lava being the sunon of fire or earth. Or blood being the sunon of water.
"I'm Sukai Lanera, my orizambi is sword manipulation."
"I'm Roman Blackstar of the Dragon style, I'm a dragon-style firebinder, and I have a device."
Both Liz and Roman have a device. I wonder.
