Her chest throbs as she enters her room, it was unbelievable. She didn't expect that to happen. She was holding her head as Ellisa came in.
"What happened?"
"It's nothing"
"But.. You look bothered about it"
"I don't know how to say this... He kissed me… And I was just…"
"Well, I don't know…." she's sitting on her bed as Ellisa approaches her.
"That's normal, you've been together in the past. Moment and memories will come back, but how about your feelings?" a sighed she just released as Ellisa went out.
The sun strikes her eyes as she opened her eyes. Yawning, she get up and went straight to the bathroom to do her daily routine.
" Good morning baby, "she greeted her daughter with a smile. Carmela just ignore her and focused on other stuffs.
" When can I see dad again? "the kid asked her, she was stopped from eating and looked at her daughter.
" I don't know yet baby, your daddy is kinda busy right no-" as the door opens, Dreb came in with a plastic bag with groceries.
" Baby, daddy's here" the kid stood up and excitingly went to her dad. Andrea was a bit disappointed when she saw her daughter happy to see her dad but not happy when she saw her. A sigh in disbelief, as she stood up and get her car keys.
"You're going?" she just nod her head and kissed her daughter's forehead. She look back. "She will be happy if you're here, I gotta go. Enjoy!"
She started the engine but it wasn't working. "Come on, why aren't you starting?!" she shouted as trying to start it again.
"Need any help?" She just shook her head, "No, I'm gonna get taxi" she went out and find some taxi.
Dreb went to his car and offer a ride for her. "Come on in, you better not be late." there are no other choice but to ride with the man. Rolling her eyes as she went inside the car. She feels uncomfortable and forgot to put the seat belts on.
"Andrea?"
"Uhmm?" he leans towards her, she closes her eyes and swallowed.
"There" she opened her eyes and was embarrassed when she realized it was the seat belt. She bit her lower lip, "What are you thinking?" a voice was talking on her head.
"Thank you…. for the ride" she hurriedly went out and walked fast went inside.
As she went inside, the place is crowded. A lot of people we're talking about some gossips. People are looking at her, she suddenly took her phone and saw the news. She walk fast and went directly to her office.
[Knock]
"Come in"
"I know you heard about the latest and trending news now. I tried to pull that off but it spreading. In our country… it's the number trending…" explained by her secretary.
"Thank you for the information, I will be fine, don't worry"
She bowed as she leave. [Door closes]
"Hello?"
"I'm filing a case for our divorce papers. You have to signed as soon as it's done"
"Lenna, if you are really serious right now. Then fine, I will signed the papers. Just send it to me" he hung up, he went back to his daughter's room and play with her.
The kid fell asleep while playing, he went to carry her daughter and put her in the bed. Walking with a heavy body, he sat on the sofa in the living room. He turn on the TV.
(Reporter) "As the latest news of these day, The former Chairwoman of the sweet night perfume, Ms. Andrea Reyes had been trending because of her daughter and the father. She had no comments regarding this issues, but some people say the nm trending news are true"
He dialed the number of Andrea. "Hello? You okay?" he asked worriedly.
"I'm fine, and please don't call me. I'm at work and don't worry about me, you don't have to act kind" she hung up before he could speak. A deep sigh just came out on his mouth.
It was late and Andrea is still at her office. She was so busy and forgot to have dinner. She was on her laptop when someone's calling.
Ringg....
"Hello?" she said, her voice sounds so tired.
"Where are you? Why aren't you home yet? Carmela had been waiting for you"
"I'm sorry, it's just I had to do this…but I'm coming home now so you can leave" she got her car keys and started to went towards the parking lot.
A car was approaching the house, Dreb went out to open the gate. "Thank you for taking care of her. You can leave now" she went inside, without emotion and looks exhausted.
"I can't leave you look like this" he hold her wrist and suddenly pull her and hug Andrea. Andrea's heart skips a beat, she heard the beat of Dreb's heart. It was wonderful, until she realized she was smiling. She avoided Dreb and looked away.
"I cook something for you, you can eat if you want"
"I'm not hungry, thank you. You may leave"
"Okay, then" the man left and closed the door. As she glimpse on the window, she want to sure the man's gone before she ate this.
She started to taste of some it. She closes her eyes as she taste the food. It was her favorite…. She stop for a moment as she remembered everything they had together.
"No Andrea! You can't fall for him again" she was talking to herself, a tear, the pain. Her heart aches, she still love him.
Dreb saw some luggage outside the gate of his house. He quickly got off the car and saw Lenna with his son.
"What are you doing Lenna?" asked with confusion.
"We will divorced anyway, so why I'm staying here?" sarcastic replied by Lenna.
"Why are you taking Leo? He's my son and I can give a good and better life for him"
"I know because you have the money, beautiful houses, cars, everything. But Leo wants to be with me" an arrow was like buried to his chest. He looked at his son, as the kid was just hiding from his mother's back.
He went down and look at his son. "Baby? You really want to go with mommy?" the boy just nodded. He fakely smiled and stood.
"Okay, but promise me I can visit him. I will give his needs. Anything just for him"
"You can visit him, but right now we have to leave. The divorce papers are in the table. Just signed it" she puts the luggage on the back on the taxi.
"Lenna" he looks pity, he was too desperate to get this family back.
"Just let me go" they went inside the taxi. Leo was looking away from his dad, the boy was crying.
It started to rain, Dreb look at the taxi and followed it by just running. He was soaking wet, he continues to run to followed his son and wife.
"Leo!" he shouted as he continue to run while it's raining.
Daddy" the boy called him as he saw his dad running. Lenna was crying, seeing his son like this. Leo had no idea who is his real dad, Leo really loves Dreb so much. He love his dad.
The next thing he knew was he was on his bed. A wet towel was on his head, the sunlight reflects on the window to his eyes.
"What happened last night?" he barely can't see the face. It was a tall man, as he clearly see the face. He was surprised, his friends are here. He looks pale, he was weak.
"What happened last night?" Aly asked while putting back the wet towel on his head.
"Lenna, she file a case. The divorce papers are now ready to signed. She took away Leo with her" he sobs.
"Hey bro, everything will be okay. For now just focus on your daughter. Then, you can visit Leo together with her" Davis added for him to feel better.
"Okay, by the way. How did you get here?" he asked in confusion.
"Actually..."
"Daddy!" a little girl shouted and run towards her dad.
"Baby? What are you doing here?"
"Your nanny here at the house, call Andrea to come here. She was the one who helped you and carry you to your house. She was soaking wet when she got you. She looks so worried, exhausted and feel pity for you" Wyne exhaled as he explained.
Andrea was at the door, she looked away as Dreb saw her. "Come in" all of them turn their backs and saw Andrea on the door. Shyly, she enter the room while looking down.
"Thank you, thank you for taking care of me"
"Don't thank me, I just did that because it has"
"And by the way, breakfast is ready."she added and went out.
" This is really good Andrea, you're really a good chief" compliment by Wyne. Dreb look at Wyne, the way Wyne looks at Andrea, it's different. It was like there was something….
"Andrea, I want you back"
