Jenna was arrested in connection with the gang member and the killing of Mrs. Linda Nariza.
It's was Saturday, a sunny weekend. Dreb and Andrea are still sleeping. It's been two days since the two of them were hospitalized.
No one visited Dreb, Dreb was in his room when his hands move. He slowly opened his eyes and what he saw right now is only blur. He closed his eyes and opened it again. His eyes started to see clearly. When he was on his mind and body. He remembered Andrea. He was about to get up when he couldn't. His back was hurt because of the bullet.
Th doctor came, it was his friend. Doctor Wilson.
"how are you feeling today?"
"I'm fine, but I gotta go somewhere"
"is the girl you want to see?"
"huh?"
"the girl, the one who's with you when you are brought here"he nodded" please let me see her Doc. Wil"
"Take some rest for now, you need that to regain your strength"
Doctor Wilson leave him, he was trying his best to get up but he stopped when suddenly someone enter his room. He was shocked and a little bit excited when he saw Andrea's mom.
"how are you Dreb?"
"I'm fine, what about Andrea?"
"the doctor said that she's fine but she isn't waking up. It's been two days"
"I'm sorry I did not protect her"
"you know what, if you didn't protect her? Why are you here laying on a hospital bed and had a surgery to remove that bullet?" she said and Dreb looked at her.
"Auntie, I'm sorry"
"you don't have to Dreb. I know your a good kid and a good guy to my daughter. Just please take care of her and yourself. Fight for your love no matter what happen. Can you promise me one thing Dreb?"
"yes, what is it?"
"I want you to be Andrea's side no matter what happen. No matter what other people might say to her. Just protect her and love her. Don't let her feel small and make her smile. Love her as if it's your last day. Give your time with her. Promise me you'll take care of her "
" I will Auntie, no matter what "
" and Dreb? "
"yes?"
"I'm so sorry. I'm sorry"
"for what?" Andrea's mom phone rang.
"I'll get going then. Just rest. Bye"
Andrea's mom left Dreb on his room. Dreb was left confused and asked himself what she was sorry for.
Andrea's mom, Mellisa went to Andrea's room. She enter the room as she noticed Andrea is moving. She go towards her and hold her hands. "Andrea?" she called her name as she slowly opened her eyes.
She saw a white ceiling but it's blur. She tries to closed her eyes and opened it again. She saw her mom and smiled at her.
"how are you feeling today?"
"I'm fine mom, how about Dreb?"
"He's fine and he's resting now"
"I need to see him mom. He save me from the bullet"
"Okay, I will get a wheelchair first. Just wait here" Andrea nodded she is excited to see Dreb. She was worried and so much thinking about him.
When Mellisa got a wheelchair she asked for a nurse help and help Andrea to sit in. "thanks mom"
Mellisa pushed the wheelchair and go to Dreb's room. Andrea knocked three times and enters. She saw Dreb laying on the bed. She saw the surgery on dreb's back. She feels guilty about it. Mellisa pushes the wheelchair to Dreb. Afterwards she left Andrea and Dreb on the room.
Andrea held dreb's hand, Dreb felt the warmth touched and woke up. He saw Andrea holding his hands. He smile as he see her. "your here"
"are you okay now?"
"Yes I'm fine, don't worry about me. How about you?"
"I'm fine also,"
"I missed you" Dreb stared at her "I missed you too" she replied and slowly stand and sit besides Dreb. She was touching his hair and hugged him. She helps Dreb to sit on his bed. Dreb were unable to sit by himself because he was shoot on her waist and back. It was connected with his spinal cord but the doctor said hes fine.
"I love you Andrea" he leans toward her and kisses her.
"I love you too"
As the nurse came they stopped kissing. They looked at the nurse and she was blushing and her eyes just rolled. She was smiling when she walked towards them.
"how are you feeling Mr. Mendoza?"
"I'm fine but I have difficulty when getting up"
"that's necessary, but you will recover soon"
"thank you"
The nurse leave, Dreb looked at Andrea. She was staring at the door.
"What's wrong?"
"that nurse, she's familiar with me"
"Don't you remember her?"
"I don't think so, but she's familiar with me"
"don't overthink, come here" Dreb gives her a hugged but Andrea still thinking about the nurse. The face of the nurse is very familiar to her.
Andrea didn't knew about her past, she can remember it but not everything. She still don't knew about what happened to dreb's mom and what is the connection of the nurse to her. When Andrea was 3 and Dreb was 4 Mellisa Andrea's stepmother was the one who hired a hitman to kill dreb's mom. Mellisa is silently falling in love with Colin in their high school. Mellisa is rich and popular in their campus. She can do anything to get what he wants except for Collin.
Dreb's mom and Andrea father is a couple in their high school. They were really into each other and really in love. Until the day, they broke up because of their business. Dreb's mom was arranged to marry Kelvin, the father of Dreb. Andrea's father, Collin were so broken hearted when Andrea's mom came to comfort him. Taylor, Andrea's biological mother, she was there when Collin is having a heart ache they were happy until the father of Andrea got into a secret affair to Mellisa. That broke their family.
Andrea's mom were so depressed and stressed out. She didn't eat and sleep well. And the day came, she passed away by killing herself. Andrea was blaming herself of what happened to her mom. Mellisa and Andrea's father got married after 2 years after Andrea's mom passed away.
After they got married, Mellisa hid her secret to her husband. Up until now, Mellisa didn't tell the past as her husband passed away. She hid it herself and the only one who knew about it was the nurse that Andrea is familiar with. The nurse was Mellisa friend. Andrea saw her at the age of 5 when Andrea's mom killed herself.
Taylor, Andrea's mom didn't killed herself. The one Andrea saw was when her mom had a knife on her chest. Andrea imagined that her mom killed herself but she doesn't. Andrea's mom was killed by Mellisa. After that accident, the nurse came and help Taylor to still live but Mellisa told her killed Taylor. The nurse didn't have any choice but to follow Mellisa's order.
Mellisa left as the nurse act that she killed Taylor but she can't do it. She hid Taylor and protect her. No one knows about it. The nurse is finding Taylor's daughter but she can't identify her. She saw Taylor's kid when she was 5. The nurse keep looking for Taylor's kid but she can't find it.
After how many years, the past was hid. No one knows about it but only Mellisa. She had do this things and Andrea didn't knew about this. The nurse is still taking care of Taylor until now.
Now, Mellisa is feeling guilty when he saw Dreb and he save Andrea. Mellisa is having a hard time on thinking about the two of them. She loves Andrea as her own daughter but she thinks if Andrea fond out what she had done. Andrea might be very angry at her. She is taking care of Andrea now whenever she remembers everything. She was sorry for Andrea and Dreb.
All doing are all Mellisa's fault. She is behind all this. Collin had passed away but he never knows it. Collin was a great man and a good dad to Andrea.
Andrea was sitting besides Dreb but she is still thinking about the nurse. A memory falsh onto her mind. She saw that nurse when she was 5. That was the nurse who helped her mom when her mom stabbed her mom.
"I know who's that nurse" Dreb looked at her"who is she? "
" she helped my mom when my mom stabbed herself. She was the nurse "
" I'm sorry to hear that"
"I want to talk to her Dreb"
"just calm yourself and rest first before you talk to her."
"okay. I'll get back to my room"
Dreb nodded and wave to Andrea as she left the room. Mellis was waiting for Andrea. She helped Andrea to pushed the wheelchair to her room.
AS. They arrived, Andrea lay on her bed but still thinking about the nurse.
"What's wrong Andrea?"
"mom, please helped me"
"about what?"
"I want to talk to a nurse, the nurse I saw 14 years ago"
"what are you talking about?"
"when my mom stabbed herself, there was a nurse who revived her. I want to talked to her mom" Mellisa eyes widened as she heard that. The past flashback as she heard it.
"Maybe next time Andrea, when you get well and better. I had a headache today"
"ouh I'm sorry, mom you should rest too"
"okay, I'll get going then"
Andrea say goodbye to her and lay on her bed. The nurse can't get out in her mind. She was always thinking about her and her mom.
