A day came and it was a very sunny day. The sunlight strikes at Andrea's eyes. She was laying on her bed and took a deep breath before she get up. She opened her eyes and went to the bathroom. She washed her face but something is bothering her. She was still thinking about the nurse.
She went downstairs and greet everyone a good morning. She ate and when she finished, she walked towards her car and went to her office.
She arrives at her company, employees greeted her and bowed to her. She was on her office and look at her laptop.
Leah got a call from an unknown number. "hello? How may I help you mam?"
"Is Ms. Reyes there?"
"She is at her office mam, do you have anything to say to her?"
"give her the phone. I'll tell myself."
"okay one sec"
Leah knocked three times and enter the door.
"there's someone want to talk to you"
"Okay,"
Leah transfer the call to Andrea.
"Yes, how may I help you? This is Ms. Reyes speaking"
"I need to talk to you Ms. Reyes"
"who's this?"
"it's me, the nurse"
"where are you right now?"
"Lets meet there" Andrea ended the call. She cancel all her appointments and go to where the nurse is.
Andrea arrived at the ocean where the nurse told her. She was at the shore when the nurse came.
"thank you for sparing your time to come here"
The nurse was so covered, she wears mask, jacket and black cap.
"We really need to talk"
"I know Ms. Reyes, by the way I'm Crystal"
"Okay Crystal, let's talk here"
"no not here, come on follow me"
Crystal walked as Andrea follows. They went to a beach house and stayed there.
"I need you to know the truth"
"What's the truth?"
"You know already that your mom is alive right?"
"Yes, what about that?"
"there's more"
"tell me"
"First, stay away from your stepmom. Second, don't put your trust on her. And third, don't you tell her what you know"
"why?" Andrea asking of out confusion.
"just trust me on this Andrea"
Andrea nodded and Crystal started to talk. Before she talk, she took a very deep breath and look at Andrea.
"Long time ago, Mellisa and I were friends in high school. Me and her are always together. I stayed by her side because I'm here slaved. She was friend at me because she needs me. She tells me what to do and what I have to do. I have no choice but to follow her. "she was very sad while talking to Andrea." I have nothing but to follow her. Her dad helped my dad when our company got bankrupt and that's the reason I was slaved by Mellisa. She was block mailing me if I didn't follow her. I was so scared and I just do whatever she says. Not until she was I love with Collin, your father. Collin is a good guy and a handsome one. She was sweet to everyone but Mellisa take it seriously and fall for him. Mellisa can't wait to his girlfriend and she said what she really feel. Collin rejected her, that's the reason she was treating me cruely and I have nothing to do about it. Mellisa and I were okay but your mom came on the scene. Your mom is pretty, talented and a smart woman. Collin falls for her, Collin even sing for Taylor. Mellisa saw everything and that makes her angry to your mom. Taylor and Collin were together, Mellisa always order me to torment Taylor. I do anything what Mellisa had told me. I was like a fool in the past and I didn't even realize what I'm doing to your mom. "
" it's that what Mellisa really do to my mom? "
" Yes, but there's more. We have an event for the valentines day. Collin surprised Taylor in front of everyone and Mellisa saw it. She was really furious and had a plan to killed your mom. We graduated and had jobs., I became a nurse while Taylor is a housewife. Your dad was a successful business man and Mellisa is a successful business woman. She didn't forget about the past and contacted me and order me to find Taylor. I had found Taylor but I didn't tell Mellisa because I saw you Andrea. Your holding is very happy while holding your hands. Mellisa moved on and went abroad. She was okay on the abroad but she still seek for revenge. I cut the connection between us and I didn't see her again. Until the day your mom passed away. I was there, I saw the whole thing Andrea. Your mom really didn't killed herself. She really loved your family and you. She was depressed for knowing the affair of Collin. Bt she never ever think of ending her life. She was killed. "
Andrea's eyes widened and looked so shocked.
" who killed her? "her voice was shaking while talking to Crystal.
" It's Mellisa "Andrea's mouth open as she heard it. She was on tears and can't believe what she knew.
" that's not true. Mom won't do that"
"it's thhe truth."
"why my mom lives?"
"I was there, i saw Mellisa stabbing your mom and I stopped her. She got angry at me and ordered me to finished your mom. She left and I acted that I killed your mom but I didn't do it. My heart stops me as I saw you looking in your mom. I was sorry, I pity you and I feel guilty. I'm sorry"a tear came out on Crystal's eyes.
"all these years? All the story? All the scenes I saw was a misunderstanding?."
"I'm sorry"
"don't you knew? I was blaming my whole life after my mom passed away. But it's not really what it is?" Andrea's tears were flowing like a river. She was so hurt about knowing the truth.
"I'm sorry, I just could turn back time. I will not do it"
"I'm sorry Crystal, but you are involved to and I'm angry at you. Thank you for telling me this. I appreciate it and where's my mom?" her voice were shaking because she was crying.
"I don't know, I had a feeling. Mellisa had here"
"what are you talking about?"
"Mellisa might had follow you when we meet. She might got your mom. You must find her and I'm here to help you"
"thank you"
Crystal gives her number and also Andrea give her business card.
They separate ways, Andrea went to her office. She lay her head on her swivel chair and a tear came out. It slowly came onto her eyes and went to her cheek. She was so frustrated and stressed out. She missed her mom and still couldn't believe what she had known.
She got her attention when someone enter the door without knocking.
"Where have you been? I'm looking for you everywhere." Andrea walked towards him and hugged him tight.
"what wrong?"
She faces Dreb as her tear went down.
"My mom, she's still alive"
A smile puts on dreb's lips. "really? Where is she?"
"I have to find her, she's missing. It's a very long story Dreb. But right now, I have to find her"
"no,"
"what?"
"we have to find her. I'll come with you"
"you sure?"
"Yes I'm sure"
"thank you" Dreb pulled Andrea toward him and kissed her forehead down to her lips. Andrea smiled as Dreb was too.
It's 5pm and it's time to go home. Dreb and Andrea went home together. Dreb drive his own car and Andrea was too. Andrea arrived at her house and Dreb say his goodbye. They separated ways and Andrea went inside.
Andrea was about to go to her room when suddenly she hears a bang.
Bang! A loud noise stopped Andrea from entering her room. Her knees were shaking as she slowly walked inside. She hid in the kitchen table and looked around where the noise came from. She was about to come out when someone came out and grabbed a woman's body. It was Cassie.
"Cassie?" Andrea keep silent while she's talking in her mind.
Mellisa killed Cassie because Cassie find out what she did. She was angry and shot her on daughter. She grabbed her daughter and her body was full of blood.
The floor is full of blood, Andrea still in the kitchen under the table and was crying silently. She cover her mouth while her body is shaking.
The door slammed and Andrea got a perfect timing to go out. She went on the garden and try to climb to escape on the house. She climb on a tree beside the wall and jump into the other side.
She was outside and call Dreb.
"hello?"
"pick me up. Now"she ended the call as she walked away from home. She was on the street and waited for Dreb.
Dreb arrived and Andrea hurried to go inside. Her body were shaking as she enter the car. Dreb starts the car and went to his place.
They were on Dreb home, Andrea still didn't talk and was sitting in the sofa for almost 2 hours.
"what happened Andrea?"
"Nothing, I just need to see you"
"Just rest here," Dreb smile and kiss her forehead. He left walked Andrea to his room."you rest here, I'm gonna use the sofa."
Dreb closed the door but he didn't think nothing happened to her. He was worried for Andrea of what might happened to her.
He just let it flop and lay on the sofa. He closed her eyes,. Andrea on the bed was crying, she didn't even protect Cassie from her Mom. She blames herself again and she was traumatized.
