Fixing my scattered room had never been a problem to me, in fact I enjoyed it. Love it actually since it makes me feel like those normal teenage kids in my distasteful life, trust me there were times I did wonder where I came out from. But I suppose I was made to believe that littered room showed just how much normal a teen is, I mean you can't come home and expect it to be neat just as you'd left it, there's bound to be chaos, stains, little perks that just tips you off your patience but you just need to know just how normal it actually is and expect it much more often, so for the above reason, I never fussed about cleaning my room. But cleaning my room just after Tiberius rakes through it is becoming annoying really.
Earlier, I'd come home to an empty driveway and home. Aunt Lindsey caught a cold in the wee hours and so today was supposed to be a day off for her. But noticing the driveway empty, I'd assumed she'd later felt better and had probably gone off to work.
Tiberius, hell bent on ruining my precious life had practically turned down all the dishes I prepared for lunch. First, he requests for one, and just after taking a bite and making a mess on the table, orders me to clean it and asks for another. We went on like this for a good five hours before he finally became tired and left for his bedroom, perhaps having a really bad day. I'd been left to pack up the partially eaten dishes and any which didn't look so good or appealing got wasted into the bin.
Then I'd come down to my room, exhausted and seeing it in shambles had begun to clean up also. One thing I hated about Tiberius was that he explored the most private corners. He had no decency for privacy that even my shaving stick can and unwashed boxer briefs were all turned inside out.
But as always what I say won't matter much because through it all I'd just have to suck it up.
After a calm bath and a light dinner, I lay down to a novel. It was a fantasy alright about a girl who's thoughts always came to life but it was the other way around. Like she'd think of bad things and they'd actually turn to good things and when she thought of good things bad things would happen. In the space of two hours I was done with the tenth chapter and was beginning to get thirsty. Heading out for a cup of water, I froze at the sight of Tiberius pinning some girl on the freezer surface as he sucked her face like there was no tomorrow.
"Holy Christ! " I screech like a banshee, almost letting go of the glass jug I held. They broke apart, avoiding my eyes. Tension ensured as I hastily took my glass of water to the room. I hated the fact that I'd seen that, it reminded me of what had taken place at the janitor's closet. Securely locking the bolt, for I knew just how cunning Tiberius was and that he'd surely come for me, I sat down and took out my algebra assignment.
Sincerely I still don't know why maths was a subject. If there were any chance, I'd rather spend my life reading all about drawing maps and learning all about geographical zones and all what not. But of course, the curriculum would still have to be a bitch and make it a compulsory subject for science freaks only.
Why can't I have a life completely freed from expressions made up of alphabets and numbers and corny trig sketches I'd never or even care to know?
A vicious knock struck my door hard. Just as I predicted my blackmail prince is here.
"Whatever you saw back there shouldn't be known to Mom. Trust me it won't be funny when I show her what exactly you've been up to" he says offhandedly,
Lucid gray eyes boring menacingly into mine.
"And what's that if I may ask?" I asked to be sure. I could already feel apprehension beat it's way down my back.
"Trust me, you won't love finding out what it is" he took a step back and gestured to an approaching figure. "Merton happened to drop by and wants to see you" he smiled fake at me and disappeared down the dark passageway. The figure reached me and swooped me off my feet. Muttering shrieks of protest, I giggle pathetically when he drops me softly on my futon.
Raising his face, he smiled down at me not minding the fact that he weighed a ton and I'd really pass out any second now. "Miss me?" he brought his face down to my neck and nuzzled my tender skin.
"Ugh what are you guys made of? You're crushing me" I whined trying to lift him off me.
"Um you're forgetting that you're actually a guy" he looked at me oddly as he rolled off, falling into the foam. His blonde locks were messy and due to their length, it spread across his eyes. "I'm so exhausted, just took a jog around my estate"
"Is it obvious? I'm a weird type of guy, at least that's what everybody says and why does it look like you just ran a marathon, are those your boots... Why are they muddy? Take them off my bed this minute!! " I screeched, making my girly voice high pitched.
" Calm down babe," he says offhandedly not bothering to spare me a look. "I fell into a ditch, it's nothing serious"
"You fell into a ditch?" I asked incredulously standing up now. "And you're spreading your mud on my bed?"
Groaning, he sat up and glared at me petulantly like I'm some kind of alien who just tipped out from space. Don't blame me, I like to think I'm weird. "This isn't how you are at school. Tell me, are you always like this?"
"Like what? Like I should sit back and watch you so beautifully rub goddamn stains on my newly washed sheets?" I said with arms crossed, staring at him with equal intensity. Talk about clean freak. "You're sweaty also"
Shaking his head resignedly, he takes off my towel from the blue rack.
"What exactly are you doing?" I asked in panic. He made to walk towards my bathroom but I plant my self on his path. He rubbed his throbbing head defiantly. "Please let me pass. I actually came here to have a bath"
