"Shit," Nokosu thought. There were security officers in the mine? They must have been monitoring his calls today. Nonetheless he had to get out as soon as possible. They might just lock him down here and decide to separate the two of them. Little did Nokosu, he was absolutely right. 2 guards had been posted outside of Nokosu's office and locked the door. Grabbing his wrist mounted lighters, as well has the new prototype C.S device he had been working on, Nokosu tried to exit his office only to be met with a locked door.
"Sorry sir!" said one of the officers with a raised voice. "We are to hold you here. You are being held under suspicion of stealing Xenophite. Once Meishu gets back you can talk with him." Nokosu tried the door one more time….no luck.
"Damn they're fast. They already knew I was in my office," Nokosu said to himself. "Ok boys, let's see you handle this," Nokosu attached his wrist mounted lights to his wrists and secured the prototype C.S device in his backpack. Resolving to teleport through the office wall and into the 2nd floor hallway, he copied Modoru and did a quick prayer. While training to teleport years ago, Modoru had told Nokosu the one golden rule of teleporting. Not too teleport through solid objects. You have no idea what's on the other side, and you just might end up teleporting into a wall and die. Nonetheless, Nokosu had no choice in the matter, he had to get back to his apartment. Steeling himself now, Nokosu tried to envision what was on the other side of the wall. He had been around that area more than a couple of times and could guess what was on the other side. 'Here goes nothing,' Nokosu thought. Flexing his wrists, he grabbed the flame with his fingers and teleported through.
Luckily, he didn't end up killing himself, however appeared right in front of 2 other guards in the hallway. Immediately running to him, they pulled out their batons. 'Uhh yeah, nope,' Nokosu thought and started sprinting down the hallway. He had been at the company enough to know the way to the roof and so took that route with the guards hot on his tail. As he exited through the door on the roof, he all he had too do was jump across the gap and port. Praying again that nothing had happened to Modoru or Agatha yet, he hoped he would be there in time.
