The stormy could not even bother to depict the true emotions that were in Dahlia's heart. She just sat still. Her eyes were cloudy and grey, formless and lifeless. The gloomy clouds that hung above her were clearly reflected. She sat and sat....
By her brother's cold and stony grave. Flowers were held tight in her hand, as well as cuff links. But no one was there to receive them. She sat there sat by day, from dawn to dusk. Many days have passed.
The weather that she so sat through, had different emotions brewing from Mother Nature. Sun, clouds, rain, thunderstorm, wind, she sat through it all. In fact she lay there until she felt her breath lighter and lighter, until it was barely audible. She felt her body mass decreasing until she felt there was nothing in her arms and legs to lift but bones and hanging skin. Her black shiny hair turned coarse and rough with dirt everywhere on her scalp.
In fact, has Dahlia Ling ever felt pain during her lifeless stay by her brother's grave?
The answer was no.
Her mind was separated from her body, the body that sat by his grave was just an empty shell. I'm fact, this grave was located in a very remote place where no one could touch this precious place of hers. In fact, she lay there watching and keeping her brother's grave safe so that he may at least lay at rest in heaven.
At this point, she was ready to be a corpse. She even felt her time was near.
She had though that this place was remote enough for no one to disturb her or her brother's grave, but did she gravely mistake that fact. In fact, this place was a place she had been kidnapped to, to witness her own beloved brother's death. She hadn't bothered to check the area surrounding her, because she didn't care if she made it out of this place alive.
Her "dear" sisters wanted her death as much as she did.
'Right.' She thought. 'It was my sister's who staged this play with her and her brother, as well as innocents as their puppets to pass the time.' Time was something that was seemed to be endless for her sisters.
The shock of Wei's death had shocked her to the point that she wasn't just traumatized, her mind and heart broke completely. She was numb, so numb she didn't feel the sharp stabbing pains that her injuries or heart gave her. In fact this event had affected her so badly, she didn't have a care in the didn't care that her sister's were living the 'life'.
She didn't care to take care of herself.
She didn't care for the people who walked by and curiously studied her, because she didn't see them due to her trauma.
She didn't care that the flowers and cuff links that she tightly held so tight, she started bleeding over her brother's grave. But once she finally took notice, she started crying with the little water that her body had stored.
"I'm s-sorry brother." She started wiping the grave with her dress that was once white. "I dirtied your grave. That probably wouldn't let you lay at rest right? Just treat it as compensation for what I caused you. Just rest in your eternal sleep forever without worries brother. I'll stay here with you until I'll join you." She mustered a smile with the strength that she had left. She smiled for her brother until her head felt heavy and overbearing. She felt extremely tired as she hugged the tombstone that was smaller than her body. And eventually, Dahlia fell asleep as the last bit of her conscience tore away from her until there was not a drop left.
