Chapter 3 - Severe Injuries

There was a mysterious man with platinum diamond- encrusted spectacles that fit the frame of his face perfectly. He looked extremely heavenly, as if a deity had molded every detail of his face and body himself with extra effort.

His special customized suit imported from Country A was extremely expensive and could support an average-income family for years and years to come. He had come to Country G to look for a new location to place his expanding business. He came upon a rural area that had beautiful scenery. But in the middle of that scenery was a frail, thin girl

hugging what seemed to be a small boulder as if her life had depended on this boulder. He frowned. What was this strange girl doing here? Doesn't she know that this is private property?

He strode arrogantly towards her, only to see that she had written something on that boulder.

"My dear Wei. May you Rest In Peace."

He could tell that this strange girl had written this with her blood that oozed out of her body. He inspected her even closer, only to see countless injuries on her face and body, surely to become scars that would haunt her for the rest of her life.

He bent down, and shook her gently.

"Woman. Are you alive?"

There was no answer.

He felt her pulse, it was barely there. It was so faint. His frown deepened.

"Woman, can't you find the will to live?"

Still no answer, she was dying.

"Tsk."

He quickly attempted to gently carry her princess style. But she unconsciously held her arms tight around that boulder-tombstone. He quickly untied her arms to the small boulder she held with her heart, and rushed her to the hospital.

Once they finally arrived, he paid the bills and listened to her condition from the head doctor.

"Mr...." The doctor looked at him.

"Call me Mr. Hei, give me the report. Now. I'll give you three minutes or you will be dismissed from this hospital."

The doctor felt his life shorten every time this vicious young man stared or even glanced at him.

"Sir, the report on this miss is quite... complicated. Her head has suffered too much trauma, she lost too much blood. He bones are broken to the stage where it would be impossible to recover from, and her wounds will cause scars on her body and face. Not to mention the mental and physical damage to her brain." The doctor said in one breath as he waited for a response from Mr. Hei.

The aura he walked into the hospital with darkened and bubbled and reflected the complicated emotions that he felt. 'How could this woman suffer through so much?"

"Will she live?" He coldly asked.

"Y-yes sir. You brought her just in time, we will do our utmost to make sure she recovers. But there is a small chance that she will wake up from this... sleep errr coma." He finished his final sentenced and gulped.

"I will leave it to you. Or else." Mr. Hei had finished his "Or else" with a very vicious tone.
