"I brought you books, if you are tired of being in the room you can read these books." Rich said while placing a paperbag and several books on the table, but Christabell, who was lying facing the other side, didn't seem to move, didn't even turn around.
"Christabell." Richard crawled onto the bed but Christabell ignored him. "Hey… are you mad at me?" Rich whispered, while Bell chose to close her eyes even though it wasn't nighttime. She really didn't want to see Richard's face, even though Rich's face was the thing she most wanted to see after the bad thing that happened to her at that time.
Richard put all the books away and left Bell in the room alone. But he ordered the nurse to give Bell all the food she could possibly want, or even a foot massage.
Christabell rejected everything and chose to be alone. Tired of lying down, she picked up a pile of books and took the top one to read for the first time. She opened the first page curiously because the book was not wrapped in plastic like other books, maybe Richard had had time to open it and read it in a bookstore.
Bell started with the first page. A novel in the first series but he looked so surprised because there was a small sheet of paper tucked in there.
"Nice to chat with you again. -GZ-"
It was written in a beautiful handwriting, perhaps it was a woman's handwriting. Christabell furrowed her brows, "G… Z…?" Bell pulled the small paper, not a piece of ordinary paper, even when Bell smelled the paper, he smelled the fragrance of women's perfume.
"Gabriel Zein?" Christabell's eyes widened, there was no way she could come back like a dark shadow that was ready to drown her days that were starting to be colored. Inner Bell rumbled filled with question marks, why was there a message from Gabriel Zein? If this isn't the woman, then who has the same initials as her and met Richard while he was buying these books?
