A spooky silence and darkness were covered in a strange forest. The shine of a full moon wasn't enough to throw its brightness in there since the tall trees covered it with their large sticks and leaves. The only sound was heard was from a gentle and calm wind from what trees were dancing peacefully. Meanwhile, a sudden Y/N's gentle footsteps have ruined the calmly dead atmosphere. "Where am I..." Y/N thought, while slowly observing the mysteriously passive but horrifying forest. She got shivers from a sudden calm wind yet was dead freezing. "I need to find a way to get out of here" she thought and started to speed walking to "nowhere".
After some time of walking, Y/N noticed that everything around her looked the same. "I feel like I'm trapped in here..." she thought and felt uncomfortable about this place. She couldn't recognize this place, likewise, couldn't recall how she got in here, which made her worried and scared. "Hello???" Y/N loudly pronounced, "Is anyone in here?"
Y/N continued screaming, yet it was useless. All she could hear was her echo and the wind. She felt nervous. She grabbed her hair with both hands in panic. "Please..." she murmured with a low and shaky voice and started to feel how her anxiety went up. She breathed rapidly, while spinning around, thinking of any conclusion and ways of how to get out of here.
"I can't just stay here, I need to run forward..." she thought and immediately without hesitating started to run through the woods and trees. She was hoping that by running in the same direction, she may find a way out of here anywhere far away from this strange place.
Suddenly, she bumped into something. Turns out she bumped into a stranger in a black cape and a black hoodie. The stranger really remined of a grim reaper but with no axe on its hand. The stranger turned around and noticed Y/N laying down the grass, shaking, with fright in her eyes. Y/N felt paralyzed. The dark silhouette stands there, staring at her on the grass, with no reaction. "That's is it... this is my death..." Y/N thought, feeling weak and powerless.
Unexpectedly, the stranger moved. It stretched its arm and opened its palm, showing off an object. "This looks familiar" Y/N thought while looking closely into the thing that was on its palm. Turns on the stranger was holding a sparkling and a small accessory that appears to be the ring! "What's the matter with this ring" Y/N thought, "why does it keep following me" she felt exhausted from all of these adventures with the mysterious ring that appeared in her life out of nowhere recently. She decided to ignore the ring and the stranger, however she felt strange. She felt as if something mentally was forcing her to wear the ring. She wanted to do her decision, however whatever was forcing her made her to stand up and slowly go for grabbing the ring away. However, as soon as she was about to take the ring away, the stranger immediately pulled it away and hid it under his hoodie.
Y/N looked at the creature strangely. She felt mixed emotions too. In one hand she felt relief for not going further for the ring. But in other hand, she felt furious, angry and annoyed of it. Soon she heard its male voice with a serious but sweet tone, "Don't wear the ring, if you want to live, my queen."
"My queen?" Y/N thought, "This makes no sense...I'm no one's queen, I'm just a regular student with a normal life..."
"I'm not a queen!" Y/N pronounced. "And what's the big deal of this stupid ring?" she added, with an annoyed but calm tone.
The stranger laughed from this and didn't reply to her. "What's so funny...?" she murmured, but the stranger ignored her. Unexpectedly he began to run away. "Hey! Wait!" she shouted and began following him, "Don't leave me here alone!"
Y/N tried to run as fast as she could, yet the stranger was still fasted than her. "WAIT!" she screamed with a tired voice. She continued running, until she stepped on something, that made her fall into a deep hole. She screamed as she was falling. She felt scared, panicked and lonely since she knew there was no one to save her. "It's too late..." she thought and closed her eyes as if she was ready to face her death.
Suddenly, she opened her eyes, and noticed that she was no longer falling. She noticed herself in an unknown room. The room was large and looked expensive. It had some expensive paintings hanging on the wall and a red carpet on the floor. The floor was made of oak wood, and so were tables in the room, but with mostly grey chairs that were also made of the same wood. She was sitting on the golden throne with diamonds. "Where am I..." she thought, and likewise noticed that she wore an unfamiliar outfit. She looked down and noticed her wearing a sparkling blue dress, with a big and golden crown. She then looked at her hands and saw what she didn't want to see. The ring in her middle finger, shining like a diamond and ruby at once.
Once she looked back at the room, she has noticed a large crowd of black silhouettes, standing on their knees towards her. They all had a large black hoodie on, even their faces weren't shown. Y/N felt discomfort, she didn't feel safe to be around here. "I need to get out of here!" She thought. She got up from her throne and the crowd followed her movement. They all patiently stared at her with dark faces, until a sudden wide smile drew on their faces. "Holy crap" she thought and felt scared. Without thinking twice, she quickly pushed the crowd out from her way and started to run, with a large sparkly dress and with neat and expensive heels, like a Cinderella running away from the castle. The strangers watched her running, but stayed still, with the same face expression...
"I need to get out of here!" Y/N thought, while running as fast as she could through the tall hallway, until she felt a sudden heat from her finger. "Ouch!" Y/N squeaked and noticed her ring getting brighter and brighter. She immediately took it off and threw it across the corridor. The ring started to roll further and further. At first Y/N wanted to keep on running and leave the ring, however something inside was telling her that it would be a bad idea to do it. "Ugh, I think I should get it back..." she thought and started to follow the ring.
The ring kept on rolling and Y/N kept on following it trying to catch it, until the ring stopped, on front of someone. Y/N stopped, 10 feet apart from that stranger, breathing heavily from all this running. The stranger wore a quite interesting outfit since it made him look like he was a part of royalty or a part of the knights from any kingdom. The young man wore black trousers with white leggings showing off at the bottom, a white blouse and a black blazer with a golden print in it, which made it look expensive. He looked like a prince with bright orangey brown hair, however from his right hand he was holding a knight helmet and from the left hand he was holding a knight shield. The guy placed down his helmet and shield aside and went to pick up the ring. Y/N wanted to tell him to not touch it, until she noticed that the ring stopped glowing as soon as he picked it up. "I believe that's your ring, ma'am" the guy politely said, while looking at the ring, and then at Y/N.
Y/N didn't know how to reply. There were so many things running through her mind. She thought of running away from the castle and leaving the ring in here. Then she thought of taking the ring and start leaving. Another thing that bothered her the most is how she got in here in the first place, with a fancy outfit. But most importantly, his attractiveness and handsomeness made her feel trapped in his beauty spell. "Who are you Mr Fancy..." Y/N thought but accidently pronouncing it out loud, and the guy heard it!
"Mr who?" the guy said, confusingly starring at her with a ring on his hand.
Y/N soon realised that she said it out loud and turned red like a tomato. She covered her mouth as if it would make him to not hear what she said, even though it was too late anyway. "Um..." Y/N murmured, and felt her hands sweating. "What's the matter with you Y/N!" she thought and felt a little bit angry from herself. The guy kept on starring at her, and then a sweet gentle smile appeared on his face. This made Y/N turn red even more.
"Are you alright? You look very red, ma'am." He said with a cocky smirk.
"Is he teasing?" she thought and felt even angrier and shyer than before. She couldn't stand here any longer, so she started to walk backwards. She was ready to continue her running away from here, so she turned around, and out of nowhere bumped into someone.
She almost fell, yet the someone managed to grab her by her both elbows on time. Y/N froze once she saw his face. The guy dressed in the same outfit as the other guy with a ring, however his blazer had no golden patterns in it, so it was only in black. The guy also wore a black bowtie on his neck, and his hair was dark and messy. The guy reminded Y/N of someone she met in university, the one who she bumped into by the lockers at the morning. "Tae-hyung?" Y/N quietly and unsurely said, since she felt like she was pronouncing his name wrong. The guy looked at her in confusion yet didn't move.
"Do I know you?" the guy calmly said with his deep and gentle voice
"Taehyung let her go!" The stranger said, coming towards Taehyung and Y/N.
"Relax, I didn't do anything to her" Taehyung replied, and moving his hands away from hers "besides, Hoseok, I was actual- "and then he suddenly paused.
Something caught his eyes. Y/N stayed aside, and Hoseok looked at Taehyung confusingly, "Is something wrong?" he asked.
"Where did you get the ring from?" Taehyung asked, and looking at Hoseok eyes confidently.
"Oh!" Hoseok realised that the ring was still on his hand hanging, "That ma'am dropped it, and I was about to give it back to her."
Taehyung got confused. He looked at Y/N, barely recognizing her yet he still couldn't remember her. He stayed still, starring at her in a not friendly way. He seemed like he was about to start an argument or ask her a question that may either embarrass her or hurt her emotionally. Soon he pronounced, "May I ask you how you got this ring?" with a disappointed tone.
Y/N didn't know how to reply. She knew that if she will tell him the truth, he won't believe her. "I.." she murmured unsurely. She felt more and more nervous as the time goes in seconds. "Tae." A sudden voice came from Hoseok's mouth.
Taehyung looked at him, expecting the other guy to continue. Instead of adding more, Hoseok just smiled and stared deeply into Taehyung's eyes. The guy pointed at the ring, and soon a sudden bell rang in Taehyung's mind, which made him to calm down. "What's the matter with these two..." Y/N thought, while looking at them both smiling in a scary way. She wanted to ask them, until she noticed how their eyes started to change. The colours of their eyes changed into two colours, blue from the left and red from the right, the same colour as the ring's stone had. This scared Y/N and she started to slowly back away.
Their smile stayed still, and soon they both looked at her. "Why don't you wear it since it belongs to you, your majesty." Hoseok said with a doubled voice as if he was a completely different person in the same body.
Y/N didn't think twice and started to run away.
Y/N's POV
Hoseok and Taehyung looked differently after Taehyung asked me about the ring. I thought I was safe with them, but their smile terrified me, and their eyes changed colours into blue and red. I soon heard Hoseok saying to me, "Why don't you wear it since it belongs to you, your majesty." And pointed at the ring and coming closer. I didn't think twice and started to run. I felt that they were following me, but the only thing that was in my mind is to find the nearest exit and to leave this place as soon as possible.
I ran as fast as I could, without looking back. I felt tired and breathed heavily, yet I didn't give up and continued my way. Soon I looked back, and didn't see anyone behind me, so I slowed down. Once I turned back around, I noticed Taehyung standing on front of me, looking deeply into my soul with still his smile on. "Leave me alone!" I screamed as loud as I could and turned around and noticed Hoseok was standing behind me, also with a smile. I was scared! I didn't know what to do! I felt trapped and most importantly, I felt alone. I knew they won't listen to me if I ask them to leave, and I know running is pointless since they will still catch me...so I screamed. As loud as I could, as if I was getting out all of my power out from my body, until I heard a sudden scratch noise from the top. It was a ceiling. It ripped from the top and started to fall right on me. I covered my head immediately and fell to the floor and closed my eyes... until a sudden sound came "Beep beep!" and I opened my eyes, and this time I noticed myself in my room in my bed.
I breathed heavily, with my eyes fully open. I immediately got up from my bed to look around quickly, and finally realised that this all was just a dream, yet the beep sound kept on going. Turns out it was my alarm, set on 7 am to school. I carefully turned it off and threw myself into the bed. "What a nightmare..." I thought, and then I looked back at the clock, "never thought I would feel so thankful to the alarm for getting me out of there" I added and then giggled and closed my eyes calmly. Soon I opened my eyes once again and looked at my ceiling. "The ring...why do I keep seeing it...and what does it have to do with me?" I thought.
