AVA
I blinked, uncertain if I was seeing things or if the girl in front of me was real.
It has only been 52 hours. I heard Marcus Zephanie saying to a woman, Amber, as she was called.
It has only been 52 hours since I had woken up from the white room. And now, this girl was staring at me with odd curiosity.
"Who are you?" We both said at the same time.
"My name is Lotty."
"Ava."
"Did Doctor Marcus call you that?" I perked up.
"Doctor Marcus?"
"Yes, the man in the white coat."
"No, I picked it myself." Lotty smiled.
"So did I."
It was then that Marcus Zephanie stepped inside what I presumed was his laboratory. It was much more spacious than the white room. There were several crystal things around us. They were all arranged by colors. Some of them were labeled while others had a large X on them. Some of them seemed murky while there were some transparent liquids too.
It was quite an assortment and all I could think of was that they were such a pretty sight to behold.
