Chirping birds and flower crowns, wedding bells, and wedding vows, it was a beautiful thought. I imagined this particular scenario from a fairytale coming to life if I ever had the chance to live that long.
I often thought the exhilaration of wearing the most coveted white gown for a woman who was about to marry the love of her life, the person she would spend her eternities with, would be beyond unforgettable.
However, I came to realize that it was not always the case.
I found myself face to face with Shay Zephanie, an apparent mirth visible on her expression.
"Look at us, Ava, helping each other out." I smirked, remembering what went down last night.
"Help? You're merely using me as a pawn. Furthermore, you have weaved two separate stories for both Hero and Rafael. In my opinion, we are merely playing under your command."
