The next day.
School began at full length again. The second term exam was nearing.
About the matter between Kaori and Dylan - the student council president of MSC High School - nobody knew what Kaori replied to him. But everyone wanted Kaori to stay in XX High School, specially those who knew her. So they always kept her sorrounded, so that she knew how much everyone loved her..
On one day, Melissa couldn't help but ask her about the matter in lunch break.
"Kaori," Melissa called the girl who was filling her mouth with food food.
Kaori looked up at her with round eyes and blinked several times, her mouth filled with food.
Melissa smiled at her friend's childishness before asking, "Can you tell us?"
Kaori chewed her food, "what are you talking about?" She barely said, while chewing her food.
Willia stopped eating and gave Kaori a look before saying, "What do you mean - what are you talking about?" She remarked with an annoyed face.
"You didn't tell us anything about whether you are really going to transfer to MSC or not.
Why aren't you telling us everything like you usually do?" Dylanthy added impatiently .
Kaori gulped down her food, "What do you want to know?"
Everyone who were in the classroom was listening to the eight friends' conversation so when they heard Kaori ask this question, they all at once sorrounded Kaori to listen clearly.
Kairi laughed a little at her classmates' action.
"Tell us about what happened in the student council room," Wood inquired first.
Kaori put down her spoon and took a breath while Yamaken observed her thoroughly from her side.
"He only asked me to transfer to MSC High School and become the student council president over there after I transfer because he saw some kind of potential in me," Kaori told everyone, "That's all."
"What did you reply?" Robin asked quietly.
Kaori spared him a glance before replying, "I... Told him that I'll think about it-"
Before Kaori could finish her sentence, Yamaken stood up abruptly, making his seat rattle away backwards. With an annoyed look on his face and a mocking twitch of his lips, he left the classroom with his hands in his pockets - not even finishing his lunch.
Everyone gaped at him as he left the classroom with long steps.
"He's.. Angry.. I think," Tom mumbled awkwardly.
"Why though?" Kaori asked, confused.
"Who knows," Robin sighed.
Kaori turned her gaze from the classroom exit to her food. But then she looked up to again to see Wood staring at her.
"What?" Kaori asked him.
Wood asked back, "Why did you say you'd think about it?"
Willia said to Kaori, "Yeah, why did you do that? Don't tell me you are thinking about accepting?"
Kaori just stared at them, not knowing how to reply to them.
"Kaori," A male classmate spoke, "I know we are not that close to you but.. Please don't leave like this."
"Yeah, it was so fun in the festival together with you!" Millicent said right after.
Kaori gave them a smile before going back to eating her food, by which everyone got the cue that she just dismissed the conversation. So the crowd of students which had surrounded their desk, slowly left them alone.

Yamaken sighed as he looked up at the basketball loop.
He had come straight to the indoor basketball court, he didn't know why. His legs just led him here.
There was a ball lying on the floor which Yamaken picked up.
He gave it some bounces before shooting it into the basket and scoring.
"Why does she have to say that? Why didn't she just reject the offer?" He let out another sigh as he mumbled.

Tom was out in search of Yamaken because the lunch break was about to end and he didn't want his friend to get in a detention for being late in class.
While searching, he suddenly spotted Yamaken sitting on a bench in the school garden.
"Are you okay?" Tom asked Yamaken as he sat down next to him.
Yamaken snapped out of his thoughts, "Huh? Ah, yeah, I'm fine... Why?"
"We should go back to class," Tom said hasitatingly.
"Does she have to do this to us?" Yamaken said grimly.
Tom waited for Yamaken to say something more.
"I- Why did she have to think on it? Does she.. Can she just leave us like this?" He said quietly.
Tom gave Yamaken a pat, "Everything will be fine again. Maybe Kaori didn't want to reject him in front of everyone like that, that's why," Said Tom.
"You know what, let's go back. We have a class to attend to," Tom pulled Yamaken, seeing that his words wasn't helping Yamaken much.
Yamaken reluctantly got up and followed Tom back to their class.
As Yamaken and Tom entered their classroom, the bell rang - telling them that the lunch break was over.
Yamaken sat down on his seat, not looking over at Kaori while Kaori was expecting him to look at her and say something.
As Yamaken didn't do neither, Kaori was disappointed that she looked back at the teacher who was now entering the class.
The class began.
*****
It's been two days and the more days are passing by, the mote everyone is becoming tensed about whether Kaori will leave them or not.
With that, everyone in the school - those who knew her and those who didn't - started to try to keep her company all the time so that she didn't have the chance to think about the offer at all nor would be able to think of leaving them. That was their plan.
They also told her countless of times how much each of them loved her and didn't want her to leave. But sadly, Kaori never said anything back to them, neither bothering to assure them that she wouldn't leave.
One day after school.
Everyone went to do their club activities, except for Kaori and Willia. Nobody knew where Yamaken went to but nobody seemed to care, because Yamaken always disappeared at times for unknown reasons.
Kaori and Willia were now sitting in the music club room together. Kaori wanted to practice, so Willia decided to keep her company.
But instead of Kaori practicing, she stared outside the window while Willia stared at Kaori.
"𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘒𝘢𝘰𝘳𝘪?" She thought, "𝘈𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘴? 𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵? 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘴 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘥? 𝘞𝘩𝘺.. 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴? 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶?

"What are you thinking about?" Willia suddenly asked Kaori with a smile.

"Nothing much," Kaori replied with a smile.
"Kaori," Willia called.
Kaori turned at Willia, "Hm?"
"Do you remember the time when we became friends?"
Kaori let out a laugh, "Are you also going to give me a speech on how much I matter and tell me not to leave?"
Willia gave her a glare, "It's not that! Do you remember?" she asked Kaori again.
Kaori sighed, "Yeah, I do. I was really weird back then. I didn't want to get new friends, because I was still groping onto the past, because the memory from the past still haunted me."
"Yeah," Willia agreed, "You did. I wasn't that interested in you back then. I thought you were boring and you were actually seekibg for attention by not makibg new friends."
"What?" Kaori asked in disbelief.
"It's true, though!" Willia said defensively.
"How could you!" Kaori said, hurt.
Willia gave Kaori a gentle smile, "But now I know you. Isn't that what matters?"
Kaori smiled, too.
"When you said you'd protect us if there comes any harm on us from your enemies. Together with you, we made so many memories, we had so many fun times. Our life change da lot by your influence," Willia continued, "I'm not saying it's bad. I think that with you, our friendship became stronger and we became closer. And I don't want that to stop from happening."
"Kaori," Willia sat down on a seat, facing Kaori at the same length, "I don't want you to be gone from our lives. I want to stay friends, I want to spend more times together, I want to know you more, I want you not to... leave us."
The two stared at each others eyes for a long time before Willia said again, "Kaori, don't leave us. Please."

Kaori let out a sigh and smiled, "Willia."
Willia raised her eyebrows in question.
"I'm thirsty," Kaori stated sheepishly with a childish smile.
Willia laughed, standing up, "Stay here, I'll go buy you a drink from the vending mechine."
"Okay!" Kaori said, waving to her friend excitedly, "I wnat an orange juice!"
"Got it," Willia left the room.
Kaori sighed, her smile disappearing from her face.
She stood up immediately, grabbing her school bag and left the room in a hurry.
*****
"Kaori, I brought your juice-" Willia stopped in her tracks as she saw the music room empty.
"Kaori?" Willia called as she went into the room and looked for her.
She then saw a note on the table which she picked up to read:
"Sorry, Willia! I have to leave first, something important came up! I'm sorry again!
P.S: Give me my juice later tomorrow, love you!
-Kaori"
"Something important?" Willia muttered as she read the note, "But she said that she wasn't busy today.."
Then she remembered, it was today that Kaori was supposed to reply the offer of the student council president of MSC High School.
Horrified by a thought that came to her mind, she dashed out of the room.
𝘒𝘢𝘰𝘳𝘪, 𝘋𝘰𝘯'𝘵.. 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦..

Yamaken and the rest of the others were back from their clubs. They were currently talking in their classroom about Kaori when Willia bursted into the room, out of breath.
Yamaken frowned at her.
Wood asked as she collected back her breath, "What happ-"
he had begun but Willia cut him off by yelling out with tears in her eyes, "It's Kaori! She's gone!"
*****
Kaori was standing at the entrance of MSC High School, looking up at the big entrance gate.
"I'm sorry guys," She muttered before taking a deep breath, "I hope I can get along with them. Let's do this!"
She took a step forward.
