The announcement continued to scale upward as people from the different side areas of the division went by. They were all dumbfounded and confused at what's happening. It hasn't been a while but the number of people went up high as it should.
Some guards continued to monitor the activity while the rest of them are guarding the entrances and exits outside and inside the capital.
A lot of murmurings can be heard, they were expecting something else aside from their plan on commencing the organization for the future of the country. As well as the future in which there will be a massive confrontation between them and the dark lord who almost rules the world 700 years ago prior to the case 13 years ago when King Yama destroyed the north.
While they're whispering, the robotic voice continued.
"For those who want to sign their children for the task, please enter the castle with your son or daughters and sign the affiliate paperwork that will be handling to you by our moderators. Your child should have these requirements before they can enter: Number one, 2 years' worth of clothes or any important necessities they needed for term. Number two, they should have at least an experience with controlling their elements and having to adapt their own aptitude for certain magic power. They're not obligated to enter if they cannot activate it yet. Number three, their age should be 13 years old and above. 12 years old below are also not suitable to enter."
After that rule, some of the parents started going into the castle to finally enroll their child. There are so many people ongoing and outgoing that it's been getting a lot of attraction.
"Hey, uncle. I think we should go to the castle now." Nile spoke up.
"You're right, did you brought all of the things? Did you forget something? Let's fix your clothes for a little before we go." Uncle Martin said. He grabbed Nile's weaved bag and tried to fix his clothes while people are passing them.
"There are so many people. I didn't think they'll actually believe this stuff." Nile followed up while Uncle Martin is fixing his clothing.
"Well, it's supposed to be believable since it's the order of the leader. Not to mention that this program they're doing is pretty much important for the young ones like you and for the future as well. Let's just hope that it will turn out to be good and will bless us with positivity after the terms." Uncle Martin responded.
"Anyway, let's go."
The two moved forward and blend in with the crowd. Uncle Martin walked too fast and didn't realize that Nile was being held back because of the large invasion going in and out on the castle. Nile struggled to walk and get closer to Uncle Martin, however, while he is trying hard, he bumped into someone wearing a cloak.
They both fell down into the ground. Nile quickly stood up to apologize but when he does it, the person who wears the cloak suddenly ran away.
'That's weird...' Nile thought.
"Hey Nile! What are you doing? Let's hurry up!" Suddenly, Uncle Martin called Nile while he is in the middle of his thought.
"Ah sorry, I'll be there in a sec!" Nile responded.
Later that day, after waiting for like 3 hours, they finally reached the entrance to the castle. The line up is pretty long and it's really draining some people.
"Damn it, If I knew this would happen I would've already requested a VIP position as a soldier." Uncle Martin looks distressed as he walks.
"Nile... You seem to be fine..."
"Well yeah, I'm kinda excited about this. There are so many people going and I really want to meet them as soon as possible." Nile answered.
'This kid... Just a few hours ago and yesterday he was all worried about something and now he's telling me that he is excited to be part of this?' Uncle Martin gazed at him with a scorned face. He can't tell what's been going on in Nile's head whether he's really excited or it's just a pumped feeling because he has a desire.
"Ah look, there's the table!" Nile blurted out.
When they reached the front yard, there were 15 tables coming from the left side up to the right side. All of them have line and the two were situated to line up in table 7. The receptionist that's guiding the people was giving them some paper and a quill.
"Yo, Martin!" Suddenly, Arthur greeted them.
"Woah, what's up?" Uncle Martin asked with a smile.
"Well it's pretty busy, I got a lot of things to take care of for the past few hours even before the opening started. Right now, I'm free to do anything I want to do. I'll be resting later." Arthur answered.
"Sounds rough huh? Well, you can't help it. You have an influential role and the whole division needs you."
"Yeah, anyway, I almost forgot. The captain needs you on his place late after the opening."
Arthur's expression began to shift from tiredness to seriousness. He released an intimidating atmosphere that made Uncle Martin scowled for a while.
"Is it urgent?" Uncle Martin asked. Arthur walked closer to him to whisper it.
"Yeah, it's about 'X'"
A sudden freeze. Uncle Martin gasped as he heard the letter 'X'.
"No way? Are you sure? That's too early."
"Yeah, but we've seen a lot of them recently and there are some movements on the western capital as well. They've been monitoring the other divisions as well. It seems like they're also preparing for something. Well, that's all I know at the very least. I'm pretty sure that Captain Lennon will explain to us the report later. So don't be late." Arthur instructed him.
"Yeah... I'll be there soon." Uncle Martin responded.
'This is bad, right after they've unleashed the plan. Things seem to be dangerous.'
"What are you talking about with Arthur, Uncle." Nile's interruption startled Uncle Martin.
"Ah no, that's nothing. It's some important work for the town. Anyway, let's go now." They proceeded on the table to sign some paperwork and after a few minutes...
"Alright Nile! Take this form, there's a map right there indicating the position you're in. Use your magic to navigate the town and find this platform right over here. That's the next location you need to go in order for you to proceed."
"What? You're not going with me?"
"Yeah, unfortunately, there's a meeting with the captain. But here..."
Uncle Martin grabbed something from his pocket. It's a necklace with a diamond-shaped metal on the end. He tied it around Nile's neck.
"What's this...?" Nile asked with a soft voice.
"That's a gift from me before you go." Uncle Martin patted Nile's shoulder.
"This will serve as a connection between the two of us."
