First impressions deceive
Because evil people use them
As a grooming device,
Feasting upon the innocent.
.
Easy prey is predictable.
Zooming the room for a rare steak,
The middle stands out,
Since the cup is half-empty
And melts the taste buds.
.
Chugging beer quickly,
Never breathing,
Suffocating the sexuality
And enticing the subservient.
.
Behind the shower curtains
Are two outlines pictured front and behind,
The bedroom door is opened,
As juice stains the sheets.
.
In the dark,
Crawling and touching
As invited,
And not seeing the dominant's deception
As the subservient becomes post-traumatic –--
The stress activates the generational feeding.
.
Suspicious family members
And alert strangers,
Have no evidence,
But take a step and end the crimes.
.
The secret has always been known,
And is now shown.
Many feel numb,
But forget the pain
And disown his day.
