As the week started to come to an end my manager, Diane, approached me, "Hay Todd I could really use you picking up more overtime over the next couple weeks. If you want we can play it by ear and only schedule it one week at a time I don't want you over working yourself."
"Diane you know I'm always up for overtime when you have it." I explained to her figuring that if only the essential workers will be able to remain working I feared being out of work and wanted to work as much as I could now before that happens. I thus figured that this would only last for a week or two. "As for playing it by ear there's no point I'll just commit to twenty hours of overtime a week were you need me. If I get tired I'll let you know and we can look at things then."
