four continuous days had passed with the five just messing around. they shopped for several different things and played around at a small festival. they had enjoyed themselves to the fullest and Brianna had completely opened up to them all. Masha had loosened up a bit and didn't report every little thing to Alyssa anymore. Marv and Alyssa wanted to screw around a bit but Finn seemed to have targeted them because every time they were left alone Finn suddenly appeared. Alyssa was slightly mad but couldn't do anything to Finn.
Masha watched them but wasn't as sad as she used to be because Marv was willing to spend time with her as well.
the group had put all their stuff into their inventories except Masha and Brianna. Marv had already introduced Angelina to Masha and Alyssa and they seemed to hit it off.
the group was now walking to the town hall with Finn and Marv discussing a few random things. Masha was holding Brianna's hand and Alyssa was just walking. their group received a few odd stares but that was it.
they had now reached the town hall and looked around a bit before Masha pointed out a single group that was feeding the fish in the pond. they approached these people and Alyssa stepped forward as the spokeswoman.
the mage from earlier stuttered a bit as she introduced herself as Margaret. Marv memorised her name before he looked to the group standing behind her.
there were two men who had large white shields on their backs in the shapes of triangles. there was a woman who had half her face covered by a black cloth. she had a thin scarf wrapped around her neck and draped over her shoulders. there was another woman who was still feeding a few breadcrumbs to the fish.
they all wore the same gold armour and seemed to have good intentions. Finn was examining the chest of the woman with a mask when he suddenly felt his hand being held. he snapped back to reality as a few numbers stopped running through his mind.
{seventy-eight, fifty-...eh?}
the woman called Margaret was holding Finn's hands and was staring at his face with a smile. Finn could see her cute face as her hair separated she had black pupils and a cute short nose. freckles were all over her cheeks as some sort of hope formed in her eyes lighting a small spark.
{lightning mage?}
Finn thought of this as a small smile spread across his face. He greeted Margaret with enthusiasm as he introduced himself formally. he pointed to Marv and described him as the real party leader.
Margaret was immediately surprised as she looked Marv up and down. she was sure that Finn would be the party leader...he was the strongest after all so surely? Marv noticed her gaze but didn't pay any attention to her. if Finn had fangirls then so be it...he wouldn't really give a damn unless Finn personally invaded his own space.
Marv then walked over to one of the men with shields and he looked the man up and down before he asked the man a question.
"are you guys...paladins?"
the men were slightly surprised. normally people would ask them questions about the females in their group or about if there were any relationships involved. the man answered Marv's question with a smile as he said that they indeed were paladins. Marv then asked where their swords were and the second man stepped forward as he said that their swords were made of magic and were actually within their shields.
Marv was really interested and kept asking the men questions and they responded honestly. Margaret wasn't sure of how to react...she had been ignored by the leader of the party she wanted assistance from.
Finn watched Marv with a smile and then excused himself from Margaret and headed towards Marv. Margaret watched as she felt slightly unhappy, Brianna then came forward and tried to apologise on Marv's and Finn's behaviour. Alyssa was amused as Masha just talked with the woman in a mask.
introductions were passed around and the groups got familiar with each other after half an hour. Marv apologised to Margaret and warned her that Finn may attempt a few things in the future...Margaret blushed as Alyssa couldn't hold back her laughter. Finn simply smiled and shrugged.
the woman who was feeding the fish revealed her face as Finn watched her chest very closely. she had oval-rimmed glasses that covered her eye colour. she had her hair tied into twin ponytails and a book in her right hand. she seemed to be half asleep as she yawned and asked what was happening.
her chest kept bouncing as her E cup breasts jiggled even within her armour. Finn immediately stared at Marv with a dead serious look as Marv did the same.
{MINE!}
they both were thinking the same thing and grew slightly dissatisfied at the other. Alyssa just watched them as she discussed a few things with the other party. after what was a few minutes of discussion they settled on renting separate carriages to take them to the outskirts of the undead plains. Alyssa offered to pay and everybody agreed.
*********
"awww...why are they being boring again."
a little boy was sitting on a large gargoyle at the top of the town hall. he was watching the two groups and could hear their conversation perfectly well. he sighed as he fell backwards and laid his head on roof tiles. he was not really being as entertained as he thought yet he stayed around. he had followed these people for the past five days and at certain times he laughed and at other times he had to restrain himself from messing with them.
he was the god of trickery, Dolos and one of the most hated beings in this world. he had been following up on some demi-gods and had found Finn by chance. Dolos then stood up and watched as the groups headed for the area to rent carriages. Dolos had his purple cloak camouflaging his presence from others.
"guess I have to watch them for a while longer and if they end up being boring again..."
Dolos chuckled a bit as he didn't finish his sentence and dissipated into a large puff of purple smoke.
