as soon as Finn spoke these words something unnatural happened. the golden flame surrounding Finn had suddenly turned into a large tornado of fire as it rose to the sky. Kishan was temporarily stunned as Marv felt himself being pulled into the tornado.
Marv felt his face hit the ground hard as he fell after he was pulled into the tornado. while rubbing his right cheek he cursed a bit before looking up to see nothing. there was absolutely nothing but darkness, something similar to voids. Marv was shocked and wasn't sure of what he was to do...he wanted to open his mouth to say something but felt that he couldn't speak at all.

with Marv out of the way, Finn was now able to reveal his true power. he didn't want to fight an ice devil but he knew he had no choice. he sighed subtly before calling his [status screen].

Finn was thinking to himself as he tried to calculate the amount of exp he would get from killing an ice devil. after a while, the tornado of fire slowly dissipated before disappearing completely revealing Finn standing alone. Kishan was slightly surprised that one of them could disappear from his sights. he watched Finn closely as he stopped running in circles. Kishan was now standing behind Kishan with his frosty tail having extended a bit. he twisted his waist a bit swinging his tail with all his strength straight at Finn. surely the full strength of a level 551 ice devil should be enough to kill a simple level 16 right?
Finn had noticed the tail but had kept calm for the single reason that he was much faster than his system said. he revealed a wide grin that Kishan couldn't see. the frosty tail was now just a few centimetres away from Finn's head. but suddenly just as the tail was about to hit Finn's head...it stopped. it was stuck in the air and Kishan couldn't move his tail. he was stuck in his position and was wondering how the heck it happened.
that was when Finn spoke for the first time to Kishan.
"hey...ever wondered if there was something like a hidden power in the universe?"
Kishan was caught off guard by the question but he saw no reason to not answer. but he was still cautious because of his raised tail.
"well...yes I have...but I've never bothered myself with them."
Kishan spoke with frost coming out of his mouth. Finn then turned around to look at Kishan and that was when Kishan felt something was wrong...unexplainably wrong.
"Good! very good...then I guess you shall personally experience one of those hidden powers. because just as there are good friendly secrets...there are evil destructive secrets as well...and I'm one of them."
Finn spoke with his wide grin still plastered on his face. that was when he truly revealed his power...the [power of secrets.] his power multiplied itself right in front of Kishan as his body changed from a lean figure to glistening bronze muscles that were threatening to rip his clothes off. Finn grew in height slightly and his back hunched over. his black pupils turned into two golden flames...he had a look of amusement on his face.
Finn then stood up straight breaking Kishan's tail that obstructed him. Finn was now the height of Kishan and had golden hair that was waving in the air similar to a luminous flame. he was glowing brightly and the snow under his feet melted.
"well then...now that you have found out my secret...I have no choice but to kill you."

Marv had stood up and was now just walking around the void. he realized that he couldn't speak and was alone. he shrugged his shoulders and tried to think about something else. it was at this moment he heard death's voice again.

Marv then saw his status window pop up and yet he didn't even call for it. it wasn't too disturbing but just odd for him.

yet even more alterations to his power...he was getting irritated by this but decided to ask the voice in his head if he knew anything about his new race change. the voice responded that it did...Marv had inherited its bloodline as the new 'death'. Marv wasn't a Chunibyou so he wasn't too impressed with it. he felt that it was probably similar to when his Race changed to an angel yet he didn't have any physical or mental changes.
he just continued reading the list and saw that his level was something he couldn't read. he checked his armour and after assuring himself that it was perfectly fine he decided to tap his skill list. three new skills appeared on the list and he was stunned after reading them.
