Chapter 24 - Chapter 24

Richard's POV

"So tell me something about your life," she said as we sat down on the lounge chairs that were placed on the balcony of my room.

"You know everything, so what's there to say?" I inquired.

"I want to hear your own side of the story like how you felt after finding out about who your father was." she hinted. "Things like that."

I sighed, before taking a deep breath. "That day was the beginning of my problem. My so-called mum started trying to make sure I developed my inner demon. Her plan was to teach me the way darkness works."

"Ouch," she muttered.

"Like when I killed that creature, I had a lot of questions in my mind. It felt like as if I had done something I was supposed to do. The way my mind felt wasn't the same anymore." I added.

"Can you cast spells?" she asked. "I mean since you are a half-witch."

"Witch is a term for a woman princess and no, I can't cast spells," I answered.

"Why?" she laughed. "It would have been cool to see you do things like that, Richard."

"Oh, really?"

"Yeah." she chuckled.

"There is a possibility that my child will have that ability," I said. "My sorcery side is a recessive trait in my system but my child will have the ability."

"I would love to see that," she muttered with a smile on her beautiful face.

"You are so beautiful." I blurted out without realizing it. She blushed a bit before turning her head away from me.

"Seriously Richard?" she asked. "That's what you have to say."

"Yeah." I smiled. "I can't help but stare into those beautiful eyes."

She blushed again.

"Or look at your beautiful face," I added.

Her cheeks heated again.

"Stare at that plump lips and imagine how it will feel on mine." I chipped in. It wasn't a joke or a prank. Her beauty captivates me so much.

"Stop it." she joked, before punching my chest.

"I want to know something," I said.

"What do you want to know?" she repeated.

"You saw my memories. You heard everything about my life. You know who my father is and what he can do. You know what my mother's ability was, but why in the world didn't you avoid me or get scared of my ability?" I asked.

Annabelle was quiet for a while. "I don't know." she finally said. Her eyes had a lot of emotions in them. "You don't look like a bad guy, to be honest, and I'm sure you won't hurt me or anyone."

"You trust me?"

"Of course I trust you so much and I have no why, but I just trust you a lot," she muttered. "It's so scary."

I shut my eyes tightly. "I can't control my powers princess and the fact that you really trust me makes me feel scared of breaking that trust."

Annabelle stood up from the lounge she sat on so that she can kneel beside me. She placed her warms hands on my cheeks so that I can meet her alluring blue eyes. "If you worried about that, then it will only bring you pain. I trust you so much."

"Damm it Annabelle are you even real?" I asked.

"I don't know," she smirked.

"Well, I do, and the answer is no," I smirked back.

"How so?" she inquired before sitting down her lounge.

"You are not afraid of a half-demon and you actually trust me a lot," I said. "To be honest, you are an extremely brave princess."

"Oh, really?" she laughed.

"Yeah," I said before looking at her lips again. It was way too inviting, the temptation was too hard to resist.

"You are unbelievable," she said before biting her lips a bit.

'Stop it, Richard, you need to get yourself together.'

Her beautiful eyes stared into my soul, it's way too hard to resist.

"Annabelle," I growled.

"Yes," she answered.

I can't take it away more, just a taste that all I need.

With a lot of fear in my heart, I stood up from my lounge and walked towards her. She raised her brow at me, but I smiled politely at her before pointing at the brief space that was left on her lounge.

"Can I sit beside you, princess?" I asked.

"Sure," she muttered. I noticed her heartbeat had an unfamiliar sound, and her cheeks heated a bit. She was nervous and beautiful.

'Her blush is so adorable.'

"Annabelle." I groaned before dipping my head lower to meet her lips.

'If she slaps me, I will accept it wholeheartedly.'

But to be surprised, she didn't move back or slap me. She closed her eyes as if to expect my lips against hers. Both our breaths were now mingling together hectically, both our chests were heaving uncontrollably.

I closed the gasp between our lips hastily, eager to feel against me, to taste her sweetness. I dabbed my lips at first, but then roughly because to be honest, I needed to get close to this girl as possible.

She kissed me back, wrapping her hands around my neck and pulling her body close to mine. If that was even possible to do. The feeling I felt in my veins was so strong, and it was beyond this world. Her lips tasted so sweet.

Due to lack of breath and from the loud sound we heard from outside, we pulled out from each other. But I didn't let go of her because of her intoxicating smell. We left the balcony and walked into my room; she smiled at me sweetly when we realized our privacy had returned to us.

I smiled back at her before pushing gently to the wall. Our lips meet again. I craved her so much and I'm sure she was craving me just as much. By the way, her fingernails clawed at my back and rummage through my head.

My body was on fire, it was burning in a good way, and I couldn't help but lick her upper lips with my tongue, seeking entrance. With pleasure, she opened her mouth and allowed my tongue in. Fireworks flew immediately our tongue touched, causing me to moan loudly.

I was burning, and it was so perfect.
