Annabelle's POV
This is a dream!
We perfectly synced our lips to each other. His tongue rhythmically slid over mine. When I was still living with my aunt and uncle, the thought of tongue kissing was so disgusting, although a few girls told me it was amazing, I never believed it. Today I'm seriously taking my word back.
This is so amazing!
The way his body pressed against mine felt amazing, he released a loud but lustfully moan which caused me to tug his hair hard. After exploring his hair, my hands travelled back to his face, moulding our lips together even more.
This is definitely the best kiss I have ever shared.
Once again we pulled out to catch our breath, his breath, his intensive gaze made me blush a lot. Richard still had his hands on my waist. His eyes contained a lot of emotions, emotions I can't read.
'What have you done, friend, Annabelle? Richard is your friend, so why did you kiss him? This is just a lustful feeling you guys have, there's nothing attached to it.'
His hair was as messed up as mine, his lips were swollen. I really kissed him.
"So?" he started.
"I have to go," I said, but Richard stopped me.
"Annabelle," he sighed.
"I need to go or else people will wonder where I'm and that the last thing I want," I explained before realizing myself from his grip.
"Okay," he muttered in a bitter voice. "See you around."
'I need a drink.'

I rushed into the kitchen with a disorganized mind. The kiss was amazing, but I'm sure it meant nothing to Richard.
'Why didn't you pull out earlier?' a voice in my head spoke. 'Why did you give in to your lustfully desires?'
"Annabelle." a familiar voice brought me back to earth. I turned round to see Victoria at the door. She was holding the same tray that was in my room.
"Oh, my word Victoria, I'm so sorry," I exclaimed before collecting the tray from her hands. "Normally I bring my tray down to the kitchen but today I forget to do it."
"Calm down, love," she said before brushing her hands through my hair. "I'm not angry because of that besides it's my responsibility to do that."
"Okay," I muttered as I continued gulping my drink. Whiskey isn't my favourite drink, but it's the only thing that can take my mind off what happened.
"What wrong dear?" Victoria inquired.
"Nothing." I lied, but I know she didn't believe me.
"Are you sure, dear?" she asked. "You know you can tell me what's bothering you."
"It's nothing Victoria." I laughed before hugging her tightly. "I promise."
"If you say so," she muttered.
God knows I love this woman so much. She is just like my mother. I wonder where her own children are? Do they look and behave like her?
"Victoria, can I ask a question?" I requested.
"Sure."
I released her from the hug. "I'm just curious how many children do you have and where are they, anyway?"
Her smile disappeared immediately. The only thing I could see was pain and sorrow. Did I ask a stupid question now?
"I'm so sorry if I opened any old wounds, it wasn't my intention," I said in my defence. "I was just..."
"Calm down, dear," she reassured before wiping her tears away. "You asked a question out of curiosity not because you wanted to hurt me."
"So my question hurt you?" I muttered, before hanging my head low. "I'm so sorry."
"Stop apologizing for everything, Annabelle, especially when you did nothing wrong," she said. "Your question is normal and there is an answer to it."
"Please share," I begged.
"A few years ago I was a married woman, a fortunate woman who was bound to live with the love of her life. My husband's name was Colton, and he was a soldier. He loved and respected me so much," she stated. "He was a funny, loving, nice man and my beloved. We were expecting our first child after about two or three years of marriage and our joy knew no bounds."
"Then what happened? From the looks of things, you and Colton were thrilled together, and you guys had a happy home, everything. So what happened?" I asked.
"I lost everything, Annabelle." she cried in a small voice while tears streamed down her face
"How?"
"A few days to my due date, my husband went on a camping trip with the other soldiers. It was a training camp that was held at one of the outermost camps in Firce." Victoria said. "The Aries attacked them during their stay there. It was a planned ambush attack which led to Firce losing a lot of soldiers including my husband."
"Oh my God!" I exclaimed.
"The news got to me quickly and due to stress, I went into labour earlier than expected. My baby boy didn't survive because of the amount of blood I lost during labour." she cried out. "I lost my husband and my son at once."
I felt tears streaming down my face. "I'm sorry Victoria, this is not the answer I was expecting to hear."
"To be honest, love, I'm grateful to your family, most especially your mother. She was my biggest strength during my terrifying period. The way she took care of me was amazing. She always had amazing advice and was an amazing younger sister to me," she said with an enormous smile on her face.
"Did my mother see you as her big sis?" I inquired.
"Yes, and to be honest she quite a commanding person, she was so stubborn, but she was an amazing queen. All loved her."
I wiped the tears that had fallen from my eyes before smiling at Victoria. "That's very true."
"But you know I still gained something that filled the hole in my heart." she grinned. "No one in the world will never replace my husband but the god of light gave me two children to make up for my lost son."
"Who are they?" I inquired.
"One is a boy, and the other is a girl," she said.
"Name please?" I beg. The suspense was killing me.
"You and Richard are my children, unless you don't consider me as a motherly figure to you," she whispered.
"Victoria, you are more than a maid or helper to me, so please never think I don't see you as my mother. If my actual mother was alive, then I believe that Princess Annabelle will be the luckiest girl alive."
"Why so?" she asked.
"Cause My two beautiful mothers will love equally me." I pouted before hugging her.
"I love you my dear." she laughed before stocking my hair.
"I love you as well," I repeated.
'I love you and my kingdom and I believe it's prime time The Aries pay for everything.'
