I sat on the front porch, while looking at the sky that was getting dark, a half of my mind was gone. There is one thing that can be learned from the sky, it needs the darkness to see the beauty.
We have to wait for the night to see the starlight scattered in the sky.
Suddenly, I became very sensitive with the hidden longing. I distracted that feeling by contemplating the brightly shining stars in the night sky. However, it can't help, his face was still around, in each direction, I can see him.
A smiley face between the strings of the night wind and the moonlight. I don't have to mention who owns the face that looks shining in the night sky. His face has been teasing and disturbing me too many times and trapping me in the unexpected love.
"Do you miss your home?", he asked after having a sit next to me.
"Ehm, may be not. I just long for someone who isn't worth to be missed", I used poetically style to express my frustration, while turning my face toward him by half-holding in annoyance.
He laughed at my answer, and I gave him a slight smile. How smart he was, almost like an idiot. He's still a dumb guy with an IQ of 180.
His intelligence haven't function at all to recognize my feelings. Right, I missed my home, people and cuisines, but it was incomparable to the longing for him even when he was right beside me.
"Have you ever waited for something uncertain?" I asked.
His face started to change after hearing my question. I shouldn't have asked that stupid question.
"Sometimes, we are like the moon and the sun shining at different times. So are love, longing, and waiting. The person that we long for, longing for others. The person that we wait, waiting for others. Perhaps, everyone has been waiting for something uncertain in their life", he explained with a serious face.
