[Ara takes a deep breath, trying to reach an extra-patience from a far place when dealing with Hanan]
"Assalamu'alaikum En. Mikail", I said with a smile holding back annoyed.
"Wa'alaikumsalam, my future wife", he replied lightly without burden.
Hanan Mikail, the most confident human I have ever met. I didn't know how many his "future wives" are out there. He was the most reckless person and acted as he pleases regardless of other people's opinions.
"What's wrong with your breakfast?", I asked.
"Nope, I called you to accompany me having breakfast", he said which made me even more furious.
"It doesn't matter if you object, but I can complain about you to Auntie Lusi" he continued threateningly.
I was forced to comply. Breakfast with the most annoying humans. That's too amazing. What if this morning I had breakfast at home, surely my stomach will explode because of the fullness.
"From tomorrow onwards you'd have breakfast with me, and occasionally have lunch with me", he said then smiling, showing off his two deep dimples.
I kept silent since it was useless arguing with someone like him. Even though, I was annoyed, I tried not to have hatred towards him as I was being afraid if someday my feelings would reverse its direction.
Whatever he wanted to say, let it be because I will leave KL in a while.
He was still patiently waiting for me to finish my breakfast, even though he had finished his breakfast ten minutes before.
I deliberately took a long time to test his level of patience. I wondered whether he would wait or leave before I finished. I've eaten as slow as possible, but he still comfortably sits in front of me.
"I think you'd go or you'll be late", I said after getting bored seeing him keep staring at me.
He just smiled after hearing my words. Honestly, his smile was sweet because of the two deep dimples which adorned his cheeks. Unfortunately, the beauty face doesn't reflect a person's character.
People who are born with a charming visual like him shouldn't be annoying.
"Um, yes. Assalamu'alaikum my future wife", he said before leaving.
I think he's a bit crazy. The number of our meetings can still be counted by using fingers, but he openly dared to call me "future wife".
Hello!
Please!
This life isn't that funny, Hanan Mikail.
If there is any possibility that his words might be coming true in the future, at least there is no need to herald before everything is on its right places.
He should keep them all for only himself, so that other people wouldn't be misunderstanding about his careless words.
"Cik Ara, do you have a close relationship with En. Hanan Mikail?", a waitress asked me such a silly question.
"He never takes a woman to accompany him for eating. He only has En. Sayed Ryan or clients to accompany him for lunch", he continued while clearing the table.
I just smiled in response to his words, then returned to Auntie Lusi's office room. However, what he said has a point. So far, I never saw him with a woman or maybe I didn't pay any attention to him.
Ah, enough!
Never mind!
A person like Hanan Mikail is better off being left alone because it's useless to argue or avoid him. He's not a type who give up on getting what he wants. I'd rather let someone like him has a fake won at first, then lost.
