"I'm... I'm a... I think I'm asexual..." Luna admitted.
"W-what?" Ronnie muttered, stunned.
"I think I'm asexual," She repeated, a little faster.
"What makes you think that?" He asked.
"I don't know, really! It's just... the thought of having sex... It's scary!" Luna cried out, expecting Ronnie to judge her. He was a little bit shocked but didn't think differently of Luna
"Hey... Don't worry, it's fine. Everyone has their likes and dislikes..." Ronnie consoled.
"You... You don't think I'm... a freak...?" Luna looked at him. She was afraid people would think she's not normal, or something's very wrong with her.
"What? Nah, of course not!" Ronnie patted Luna's back.
"Some people don't like certain things that everybody else likes. That doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you." He reassured.
"If that's who you are then I don't mind, 'cause you're still Luna, and I still love you," Ronnie smiled, showing his sparkling white fangs.
"So... You don't think anything wrong with me because I don't like..." Luna didn't want to say that word, it was too embarrassing for her.
"There's nothing wrong with you. Sex doesn't equal love," Ronnie said. He was a little disappointed, but he doesn't care, and now he knows for sure that Shadow and Luna didn't hook-up.
"Don't worry about Sasha, I'll deal with her," Ronnie assured. Luna averted her eyes, not knowing what to say. She had so many mixed feelings in her mind, it feels like it's going to come crashing down on her.
"Okay..." Luna sighed.
"Hehehe... Don't worry, you can count on me," Ronnie smiled. Luna quickly noticed something.
"Is that a vampire reference?" She asked.
"Uh... Maybe..." Ronnie pulled his hair back, feeling awkward.
"Count Dracula," Luna guessed, confident.
"Damn you figured it out fast," he was impressed. Not everyone understood his vampire jokes or puns.
"And I thought dad jokes were terrible," She joked, sarcastic Gerhardt would make stupid puns or dad jokes like: "You may be kind, but german kids are kinder," "Sausage jokes are the wurst." "Gluten tag,"
"Well... I've heard wurst," Luna joked.
Later, after school, Sasha was hanging out with her friends and Ronnie took that chance to confront her.
"Hey, Sasha, Ronnie's coming over," Hyuna pointed out. Excited, Sasha stood up from her seat and walked towards him.
"Ronnie, what are you doing here? Did you-"
"You need stop with the bullshit, Sasha!" He said to her, getting straight to the point.
"What?" Sasha muttered.
"You heard me! If you think harassing Luna will make me date you, then you must stupid! I would never date someone that lies and enjoys intimidating other girls." Ronnie told her, furious.
"What? But Ronnie-"
"But nothing! We're through and the only thing you're doing is ruining the chances that I'll get back with you!" He harshly interrupted.
"Ronnie, I didn't lie about Luna having sex with another guy!" Sasha swore.
"Yes, the fuck you did!" Ronnie seethed, scowling at Sasha.
"I didn't it! I'm telling you! Someone saw her and Shadow having sex," She retaliated.
"Then whoever told you that is a liar," He quickly replied.
"What? Well... I... How do you know for sure?" Sasha sputtered.
"Because... You know what? I won't bother telling you!" Ronnie glared at her before turning around and walking away. (LIKE A BOSS!)
"Just stop being such a jealous bitch," He said. Sasha stood there, watching Ronnie walk away.
"Sasha... are you okay?" Yuii asked, slowly approaching Sasha.
"No Yuii! I am not okay! I hate that demon, slut! I bet she's just making Ronnie feel guilty! That's why he doesn't want me!" Sasha ranted, crying a little.
"Or maybe, he just..." Hyuna was about to say something but stopped herself, knowing Sasha would freak out.
"Hey, don't worry about him! Boys are stupid, anyway! How about we go to starby's to get a drink? I'm in a mood for a rainbow frappuccino," Kaydence suggested, trying to comfort her witch friend(Sasha really is a witch).
"Yeah... I could go for a non-fat frappuccino with extra whipped cream and white chocolate mocha sauce," Sasha sniffled. (I feel bad for the barista that has to make that drink).
"There we go, that's the Sasha we know!" Kaydence smiled, putting an arm around her blonde friend.
"I'd rather have some strawberry milk..." Hyuna said under her breath as she looked through her phone.
Back in the hospital. Luna came back to visit Shadow and was currently walking to his hospital room.
"Shadow!" Luna announced, entering the room. Shadow had been sleeping before Luna came into the came.
"Ah! Luna-hime...." he panted, a little startled. He had just woken up when he heard Luna say his name.
"Oh, sorry d-did I scare you?" she apologized.
"No, it's fine... It's just boring, ya know... being stuck on the hospital bed," Shadow slowly sat up.
"Hehe, I know that feeling..." Luna replied. She had been hospitalized many times when she was younger. The worst part was not being able to sleep because the nurses were constantly coming in the check her vitals or do bloodwork.
"How long were you asleep?" She asked, closing the door.
"Uh... Don't know... What time is it?" Shadow asked, tired.
"3:34," Luna answered, looking at the clock.
"Oh... damn... I remember it being around 7 pm when I fell asleep..." Shadow told her. He usually doesn't get enough sleep at home, or he sleeps too much but still feels tired. It's usually him staying up all night, or only getting a few hours of sleep.
"You must be hungry then," Luna replied.
"Well... a little," Shadow said. He also didn't eat much, usually very little.
"I'll be back with something for you," Luna said, leaving the room. Shadow watched in admiration as Luna left the room.
"Why is she so nice to me?" He wondered. No one was nice to him like Luna, not even his mom. Shadow felt like his mom was only pretending to like him because of his dad. He thought his mom hated him. Shadow laid back down on the bed, feeling depressed.
"I want her..." He muttered, looking at the ceiling.
"Luna... my princess... she belongs to me, not Ronnie..." He smiled, sadistically.
"I'm back," Luna declared. Shadow slowly sat back up when Luna came in.
"Luna..." He muttered. Luna walked inside, holding a tray.
"What's that?" Shadow asked. Luna set it on the hospital table next to Shadow's bed.
"I bought you something to eat," She said, moving the table so it was over the bed. Shadow stared at it, a bit overwhelmed with all the food. White rice, miso soup, teriyaki chicken, tofu, pickled daikon, radishes, and chocolate pudding.
"What's wrong? Do you not like it? I can get something else for you," Luna asked, noticing Shadow's expression.
"Iie, it's just... a lot..." He explained. Shadow wasn't used to this much food, and the portion size was generous compared to what he ate at home.
"Ja, the hospital wants to make sure their patients are eating enough. just eat what you can," Luna told him.
"H-how did school go?" Shadow asked, grabbing the chopsticks.
"Well... Sasha spread a rumor about me, but other than that, things went okay," she explained. Shadow scowled, angry at Sasha. He didn't understand how anyone could bully a sweet girl like Luna. (Cause' they jealous)
"What'd she say?" he asked.
"I'm not sure..." Luna lied, not comfortable talking about with Shadow.
"Something about me dating another guy," she told him that much.
"Sasha... She had 5 or more boyfriends before middle school..." Shadow drearily commented.
"She's just a huge fucking hypocrite..." He seethed. Shadow tightly held onto the chopsticks, almost breaking them, but noticed something.
"Eclipse..." Shadow muttered. Luna looked at him, a bit surprised. Shadow didn't talk much about his sister.
"Eclipse likes chocolate pudding..." he said. Back in elementary school, he remembers Eclipse would be alone during lunch break, eating chocolate pudding. Then Shion came along, and Eclipse wasn't so lonely. Shadow shook his thoughts aside and started eating some white rice.
"What about Ronnie?" He asked, jealous.
"He's being his usual annoying self," Luna rolled her eyes.
"Didn't he say you shouldn't talk to me because I might be a psychopath that could kill you?" Shadow asked, scowling. That was probably one of the worst(wurst) things Ronnie said about Shadow. He'd been called so many names by Ronnie and his stupid friends. Emo, Antisocial freak, scrawny bastard, monster, and many more.
"Tch, he can't control me, I'll talk to whoever the hell I want," Luna scoffed. She was still upset about it. Shadow hasn't done anything to Ronnie, Luna is sure of that, she didn't understand why people make fun of other kids for being different.
"Strong-willed, nice," Shadow said, smirking. He liked that Luna was independent and didn't let anyone control her, he doesn't see that often.
