Old Ben, Joy and Rebekah all just stood there over Marcus waiting and hoping for the best. Old Ben really felt helpless as he had never seen nor heard of anything like this ever happening before. He didn't know what to do to fix it nor how he should even explain this to Rebekah and Joy. At the same time all of the lights around them began to flicker and even dim slightly all while the air fell scilent and still. It became extremely quiet.
Just then, really out of nowhere, Marcus let out gasp for air and sat straight up right so fast it startled everyone and nearly gave Old Ben a heart attack. Panting Marcus began to slowly look around to see where he was when Rebekah leaped out from Old Ben's embracing arms and ran straight over to embrace him just as the black shadowy mist and singed rose petal shell began to faded away into nothingness. Marcus could only just smiled and slowly return the embrace as with one sniff he took in her sweet scent.
