(A week passes since Stephen and Lunafreya finally put the pieces together to uncover the identity of the Bloody Crow, as Dante wakes up back at his hideout in the mountains. As he regains consciousness and his body wrapped in bandages, he sees a young woman wearing black pants, shoes and a skin-tight sleeveless shirt that goes up to her neck doing magic.)
Dante: Kitara? Is that you?
Kitara: Of course. Who else would be stupid enough to aid an impulsive fool like you?
Dante: Why didn't you put me in the Rejuvenating Waters downstairs?
(As Dante says this, Kitara gets up and walks over to Dante.)
Kitara: You are even lucky that I bandaged you up, Dante.
Dante: I take it by that tone, you are angry with me.
Kitara: Angry? I'm furious with you right now. Is so hard for you to just listen to me for once Dante? I told you to wait till I return before you go out and do something as reckless as you did a week ago!
Dante: It been a week?
Kitara: Yes. You were in really bad shape when I found you here on the floor, bloodied and bruised. All of your gear practically destroyed.
Dante: And my sword?
Kitara: Your sword is fine.
Dante: Since you're here, are you ready to start the spell?
Kitara: And makes you think that I will cast it after how you've been behaving as of late Dante? You're lucky that I'm still here.
(As Kitara says this, Dante forces himself onto his feet.)
Dante: Then if you wish to go then leave. I told you a long time ago that I would never hold you here by my side. I will find a new way to regain my powers and kill Mason.
Kitara: Is that so?
Dante: It is.
Kitara: Then care to tell me how you got beaten so badly, Bloody Crow?
(As Kitara says this, Dante gets in her face.)
Dante: Must you keep pushing me!
Kitara: Yes! I do so because you don't seem to understand what I'm trying to tell you. You've gotten sloppy Dante! You've could've died out there and I was nowhere close to help you! You are not unbeatable and you're certainly not immortal, so get it together Crow!
(After hearing Kitara say this, realizes the gravity of Kitara's words, he then nods as he calms down and takes a seat on his bed.)
Dante: Once again you are right about me. I've been so consumed by my anger that I've gotten careless. I must regain my composure if I will continue on with my plan.
Kitara: Tell me what happened out there, Dante.
Dante: Someone knew I was in New Dawn City. I don't know how, but then I was suddenly surrounded by an army of Royal guards from the Labyrinth Kingdom. While facing them I shifted over to the Bloody Crow.
Kitara: You shifted? Dante, you haven't shifted over since you-
Dante: Wiped out entire Kingdom? Yes, I am aware. It was the only way to be sure that I could kill them all and escape, but then I was caught off guard by Ragnarock. Then from there, Lunafreya showed up.
Kitara: As in Princess Lunafreya? From your past?
Dante: Correct once again.
Kitara: Surely she didn't fight them alone?
Dante: Of course she did until I stepped in to save her. I shielded her during the explosion and pulled her from the rubble. After that, I called Yatagarsu and he was the one who brought me back here.
Kitara: Well I guess it's safe to say that you haven't completely let go of your past connections as Lenneth told us.
Dante: Enough of me talking. Tell me how were your travels?
Kitara: It was very tedious finding this spell. Are you sure that this is what you want? This spell isn't guaranteed to free you from your mother's spell, but it can alter your body structure in ways I can't control. If you aren't strong enough to survive the process then it could kill you.
Dante: What are the alterations?
Kitara: The spell is derivative from the original vampire spell that was made centuries ago. I've made slight changes so that you won't be affected by the drawbacks such as hunger or sunlight. But just because I changed a few things around doesn't mean it'll work as I planned.
Dante: This is your spell that we're talking about so I'm sure. You are the only person I could trust with this matter. This is the only way I can take back the power Mason made my mother seal away from me. When can we start?
Kitara: I'm not sure. Doing this spell will require a lot of power.
Dante: Could you just channel me? Use my strength?
Kitara: I could, but it would be better if I had another witch to do the spell with.
Dante: Do you have someone in mind?
Kitara: In fact I do, although she will be a tough nut to crack as she is a part of a strict coven.
Dante: Surely they will cooperate.
Kitara: I'm afraid it won't be that easy Dante as they aren't friendly to Paras like most witches and magicians.
Dante: Then I'll kill them and bring the witch you seek here.
Kitara: You could do that, but I have a plan. Instead of killing them, I'll do a sleeping spell combined with a channeling spell so I could use their power.
Dante: Sounds good. Let's get started.
Kitara: But your injuries?
Dante: I'll be fine. I have you here to fight here by my side. The only thing thing that we need to take care of is my gear. My mask barely held together after that explosion and I'm sure that I will need a new cloak.
Kitara: Don't worry about it. I've already taken care of it.
(As Kitara says this, she snaps her fingers and Dante's new Bloody Crow gear appears fully equipped on his body.)
Kitara: I enhanced it many times over as you were out. Its durability shouldn't be much of an issue now. I've also tinkered a bit with your sword. Hold your hand out, would you?
(As Kitara say this, Dante opens his hand and then suddenly his sword flings into his hand.)
Kitara: Whenever you are without your sword, you can hold your hand out and it'll come flying as you just witnessed.
Dante: I see. Thank you, Kitara.
Kitara: Don't mention it, Dante. I'll just add it to list of things that I've done for you over the past seven years. You have a lot of making up to do.
Dante: I know. And I will make it up to you. You have my word.
Kitara: Then we'll wait till nightfall. That's is when we will head out to get our witch.
(As Kitara says this, Dante makes his gear disappear as he sits down.)
Dante: While we have the time, I guess I should say that it always bothered me that you were at the Crow's Perch. You seemed to always be more than a few steps ahead of me. I always wondered why a powerful sorceress like yourself would need physical training if you possess such dangerous magic.
Kitara: Well for obvious reasons, it was for the best that I strengthen my body as well.
Dante: Speaking of training at The Crow's Perch, have you heard from her? Lenneth?
Kitara: No I haven't. The last I heard of her, she was on one of her hunts. You know how she is Dante. She isn't known for her communication skills.
Dante: Tell me Kitara. Why haven't you taken on your own Crow Persona?
Kitara: Because I don't have a goal like you and Lenneth. Trust me, when the time comes I'll take on the mantle.
Dante: I must admit that I am curious about what you'll become.
Kitara: You'll see in due time, but enough talking. You should rest within the Rejuvenating Waters underground before we make our move on the witch.
Dante: Just who is it? This witch that we are after?
Kitara: Her name is Marcy Quinn. She's quite the marvel I might add.
Dante: Where can I find her?
Kitara: Have you forgotten already? I'm going with you.
Dante: Well that doesn't answer the question.
Kitara: After your recent actions, it's for the best that I don't tell you. Now go heal up. I don't need a one-winged crow on the battlefield.
Dante: Hmpt! Whatever you say Kitara.
