As a group of Marshals marched towards her, Rose Knight maneuvered her way through them and did a couple of flips until she was in a good distance away from them. Meanwhile, Monarch Joker was sitting on a throne that appeared on top of the golden cage and watching. He tapped his fingers as if he was impatient and unsatisfied by what he is seeing.
"C'mon, Rose Knight!" he said, "There's no point in running away. Do you even want to save these people?"
'I would love to but some of these Marshals were those innocent people,' Rose Knight thought to herself, 'I don't want to risk injuring them,'
"I. Am. Waiting. For. Some. Action!!" Monarch Joker shouted,
'Here goes,'Rose Knight thought as she took a deep breath and exhaled deeply as her eyes started to glow red.
Monarch Joker leaned forward from his seat in anticipation, "Now this should be exciting," he muttered silently,
The Marshals moved in and marched towards her again. However, Rose Knight charged straight at them and a split second later, she was right behind the Marshals. Then they all fell one by one and they appear to not have any scratches on them!
Monarch Joker was in disbelief, "No. No. No. NO!" he complained, "That's not how you play the game!"
"Well, next time, be crystal clear when explaining the rules then," Rose Knight commented,
"But still, the game isn't over yet!" Monarch Joker grunted as he snapped his fingers as another handful of people were released from the golden cage and transformed into Marshals, "Now, KILL HER!!"
'If I keep this up, maybe I might have a chance,' Rose Knight thought, 'But for how long will this plan last?'
As she ran past them, she kept an eye on the remaining people in the golden cage and counting them silently. She continued maneuvering away from the Marshals and counting in her head.
'Only 40 people remaining and he only lets out 6 during the first two snaps,' Rose Knight thought, 'I won't have enough time to save them all at this rate. Unless...'
She then turned to Monarch Joker who was munching on an apple. "This is getting a bit boring, don't you think?" Rose Knight said,
Monarch Joker stopped munching on his apple and looked at her in confusion. "What do you mean by that?"
"Wanna know something? You're nothing more than a copy cat. I've seen monkeys who are way better hosts than you." Rose Knight taunted,
Monarch Joker glared at her, "WHAT?!"
"Oh yeah. To be honest, I could've taken them all out and still keep it entertaining," Rose Knight continued, "Unless you're scared of course,"
"I AM NOT AFRAID!!" Monarch Joker shouted and crushed the apple that he was holding, "Let's see if you can handle all of the Marshals then!" he snapped his fingers, and all of the people that were inside the golden cage were released and turned into Marshals.
'He took the bait,' Rose Knight thought to herself and smiled as she wiped the sweat from her forehead, 'This should be a piece of cake,'
As her eyes still glow red, she ran towards the horde of Marshals, and within minutes, she knocked them out carefully as they fall to the ground one by one. She continued swerving and maneuvering around them and by the time she was inches away from them, they all fell to the ground unconscious.
Rose Knight was breathing heavily as she was a bit exhausted. She looked Monarch Joker and said, "Was that entertaining enough?"
Monarch Joker was furious and gritting his teeth but did not reply.
"We had a deal and I won the game," Rose Knight said, "Now turn them back to normal,"
"Nuh-uh!" Monarch replied as he revealed something in his hand, "I crossed my fingers when the deal was declared so the deal is off!"
"I figured something like that was gonna happen," Rose Knight said, "However,..." She then jumped as she drew out her sword and raised it up into the air, "It's over for you!"
But in a split second, one of the red tigers pounced on her and landed on top of her on the ground. THUD!!
"Did you forget about my pets?" Monarch Joker said, "And did I mention that they haven't eaten in a while?"
The red tiger that was on top of Rose Knight growled at her. The beast then opened its mouth and was about to take a bite out of her until---SLASH!! Rose Knight stabbed it in its belly. She then lifted the beast up and threw it to the side.
The second tiger roared and jumped but before it was about to land on top of her, Rose Knight lifted her sword up and sliced its neck, and the beast fell to the ground hard. THUD!!
She flicked her sword and the bloodstain was removed from it. Then she pointed her sword at Monarch Joker who was obviously annoyed and irritated, "Got any more tricks up your sleeve?" Rose Knight taunted, "Or are you gonna man up and face me yourself?
"FINE THEN!" Monarch Joker shouted, "But you'll regret ever facing me in a fight!"
He got up from the throne and jumped while holding his staff into the air, "THIS IS MY FINISHING MOVE!!" he said, "BEWARE MY--"
A split second before he could complete his sentence, Rose Knight punched him in the groin and did an uppercut as he fell to the floor howling in pain. Monarch Joker then tried to look for his cane.
"Where is it? WHERE IS IT!?" he asked then saw Rose Knight holding it and Monarch Joker reached his hand out, "Give it to me, now!"
"Hmm… is it really that important for you?" Rose Knight asked, "It doesn't amount to much,"
"Just hand it over!" Monarch Joker demanded,
"If you say so," Rose Knight said and snapped the cane in half.
"NOOOO!!!!" Monarch Joker exclaimed as he is transformed into his old casual clothes. Then the innocent people that were turned into Marshals turned back to normal
Rose Knight was shocked "Timothy?"
"I just want people to notice me and none of them would do so," Timothy explained, "And you ruined it!"
"People don't like to be bossed around like a total jerk," Rose Knight told him, "If you want them to respect you, earn their trust. Don't force them into stuff like this, okay?" she let out her hand and offered him to get up and Timothy accepted it.
Suddenly, the sky turned purple and everything turned white. The next thing that happened was Emily was standing in front of the door with the nameplate on it.
'JL-212. I guess this is the room,' Emily thought to herself. She looked around her and saw the same crowded hallway that she remembered, 'Well, at least the crisis was averted,'
Then, someone went out of the door she was standing and it was Sarah.
"Where have you been?" she asked, "I've been waiting for about 20 minutes,"
"I, uh, got bit lost," Emily replied,
"Well, c'mon, the movie's starting,"
"Alright. Alright."
Emily and Sarah both went inside the room as they spent the rest of the hour watching the movie and playing games in the school Foundation Day.
