Leila's plan was simple. She wanted to utilize all available resources she can. That includes all skills they possess and the materials they had. That was the first lesson she learned when her grandfather threw her at Lake Lola when at the summer of her eight year in this world. That was a tough time for her.
Though in a sense where she had to keep the animals from being too friendly, they tend to be very attached to her even if she didn't do anything. She also had to pretend to have some difficulties that should be common for children of her age. Pretending part was the hardest, after she is not a normal child without any knowledge or experience. The hero of before was the one who taught the young goddesses necessary skills before they became renowned to the world. Hunting and surviving in the wilds is hardly the hardest.
