With a changed shell and a damaged divinity, how can she blend in this strange world that she is in now? _________ Author's note: Hi guys! Thank you for finding my book. Hope you'll give it a shot. My book is slow in many aspects and might be boring for others. It is very slow compared to its counterparts. May you have patience for them, things will probably start picking up its pace in further chapters. In addition to that I use private settings on this book, meaning I don't follow the norm and just do what I deem appropriate. So please understand why it is not as thrilling or exciting as others, my MC is old and generally aloof towards things that don't matter to her. Feel free to comment your opinions in the comment section or the review section. Though I hope there is not foul or discriminatory remarks on them. I accept constructive criticism, they are helpful in writing. Just don't mention much about grammar, I am not very skilled in that aspect. And another thing, please excuse some wrong pronounce used time to time, there are just somethings that cannot be detected during proofreading and only on the actual publishing. I don't have someone who can spot those for me before posting my chapters. Edit 4/23/21 Things finally got caught up at the current chapter I wrote this edit. Showing a hint of romance(though how it will develop is a little up to the air as this is not on Leila's mind at all) and the turning point of the for everyone in the story. I admit I had a hard time controlling the plot since I was use to making short stories. But I think I finally got the handle of it a little.

Chapter 1 - Prologue: Her Fall

In the vast space of the universe, a tiny corner of it resides a powerful entity. In fact the area the entity resides is only a little bigger than a brown dwarf star. It is also not glamorous on the outside, in fact it's very plain. Almost blending to the dark abyss that surrounds it.

Despite all how common it looked like to the outside, the whole place is a domain no one tries to intrude. Everyone avoided the vicinity with their best not to disturb whatever was in there. No one knows why, other than knowing that someone lives there. A mysterious resident in the place strikes fear to anyone with a faint heart.

Inside the domain lies a solitary palace of luxury. The walls were covered in pure gold and the beams were coated with silver. The furnitures were magnificently and exquisitely made from precious woods and stones. The plants that were planted along the pathways, gardens and pots were all incomparably rare and sought after.

Everything was beautiful. But a sense of loneliness is prevalent. Other than the excessive material wealth, there were no other living creatures. Immaculate and cold the whole place was. Perhaps only the plants are the only one who gets too labeled as living here along with the palace's owner.

In a terrace among the many rooms of the palace, a woman of peerless beauty peers down on her domain. She wore a satin gown in white hue. Her silver hair hung around her shoulder lazily. And her freezing blue eyes looked very melancholic. Like the place where she lived, she blended quite well in the lonely and cold atmosphere of the world. Quiet and incomparably at peace.

But that tranquility was broken when some intruders came.

Sound of marching footsteps are heard upon the silent walls of the palace. It had no particular rhyme or pattern, but to the ears of the entity she knew the difference of each footsteps. The different sounds of each footwear, weight and habits indicates that there were many of them, all of them coming running in her direction.

Men and women of great beauties came to her, baring the weapons of choice towards her being. There are nine of them in total. All too familiar and dear to the palace's owner's eyes.

Suppose if others were in the maiden's shoes they would show various expressions over the sudden appearance. But the silver haired maiden was not ruffled with their appearance. Her expression was not even changed when one of them threw a scorching ball of fire towards her. She only deflected them and gave the intruders a cold glance.

"What else do you need of me?" The silver haired maiden asked to the familiar faces that once she shared good bonds with. Their presence was not expected, for all it indicates a huge thing may have happened outside her domain.

"Leila you violated our agreement." A maiden with golden hair stated so plainly. "You agreed not to bring influence to the world we rule."

Leila– the silver haired maiden raised an eyebrow on that. As far as she knew she had never descended to the world for many millennia now. She hasn't had any followers to get offerings to, much less had a priest, holy maiden, or prophet to spread word of her divinity. So how did the talk of her influencing the world come to be?

She was not even given a chance to give a piece about the matter as one of the men—the lesser gods of their Pantheon reported the crime she had supposedly committed. He was the god under the power of Solela—the golden haired maiden, controlling the skies where the sunlight falls.

"Leila Nyx you had sent a revelation to Reilas. And from the pact of ages before you are not allowed to that. The gods under each goddess had seen and testified against you." The god started with a frown in his face, as if he doesn't want to believe what is happening. He knew in his instincts that the solitary maiden will not do anything that may do harm to others. He more than anyone knows of it, as he was a lone witness of her vow long ago.

But he needed to act in accordance with his duty. The others had shown him evidence and things that pointed to the silver haired maiden as the chief maker. And in his role as the sky and the fair judge, he had to make a decision for everyone's satisfaction. His silver gray eyes held sorrow for everything that will transpire after this.

Hearing that Leila turned her eyes towards the other gods. The sky never lies and whatever inside of his mind and heart is always visible to his face, so she does not doubt what the god had said. But towards the other lesser gods, she held no such trust.

Her gaze fell into them one by one and she saw something she wished to have never appeared to their eyes. But with her current standing in the Pantheon, she was not qualified to comment on it. Her words will only fall to dead ears and her proof will only be seen by blind eyes. Even if she voices out reason to the sky, she doesn't want to trouble him with this messy matter. It's not worth it to burden him more than she already does.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, wishing that things had not come to this. Hoping that everything has been as simple as it was in the beginning of their existence. That greed still hasn't fermented into the hearts of Reilas' gods and goddesses.

She didn't try to deny the claims against her, fully knowing it's useless. The woman simply gave up after doing her best to make everyone happy. So she implored them what they would do now. She already has nothing else to give up now.

One of the gods, whose under the goddess of Winds' power said that her godhood shall be given up for the violation of the pact. A thing that is both unspeakable and cruel even to the evilest of their kind.

The goddesses were shocked by the price their subordinates had asked their sister. They opposed the idea of such punishment, but were underwhelmed by how reasonable the penalty is. After the silver haired maiden [Revelation] had cost too much chaos to the world.

But no matter how reasonable it is, goddesses opposed it and said to look for another way to punish their fellow divine without stripping them of their godhood, the god of sky even strongly pleaded for his brothers to reconsider. The act itself is a taboo that only the oldest entities— the goddesses only knew of. Once one of them, especially the eldest entity loses their godhead, the world will be in imbalance and slowly descends into decay, death and madness.

The lesser gods didn't know this. For some reason they were not born with that knowledge and there was really no real reason to tell them. And besides they are no need for them to burden them with that certain doom as they the older goddesses are willing to shelter them for as long as they can.

Except the sky who always sought to protect them, he had learned about it when he seeked guidance with the silver haired maiden. He was also aware of the subsequent consequences that the goddesses only knew intuitively. The eldest of their kind has shown him a future should their godhead be treated arbitrarily.

They lesser gods, sheltered and ignorant of the effects of what they ask, didn't like how they are being cornered by the elder entities. They had enough of being under them. Just because they are the eldest they get to tell them to do? No they had enough! This time they will show them what they are capable of like the humans who took the seat of power to get the message across.

So with a weapon they had been refining for many centuries, they didn't heed them. Instead of talking it in a peaceful manner, they acted immediately. They attacked the silver haired maiden unaware.

The goddesses were enraged by the actions and attacked the lesser gods. Of course, young as they were, they are still entities of divinity responded in the same manner. A fight broke out that made the silent palace lively. They are deep within their rage that they did not notice the fading Leila.

Leila was injured near the heart. But no matter how good it sounds missing her vitals, she is heavily injured. She let out a pained whine soundlessly. Digging out the dagger—the weapon designed to kill gods, she bleeds her silvery and golden red blood.

She knew everything will come to this ever since she was exiled in this lonely corner of the universe. This must be done, no matter how unwilling and prepared she is. Destroying the dagger she sadly took in the ugly sight of the battlefield.

The era of endless wars is starting. And from the real revelation she had long ago, she will be the spark and the end of it. Only that she didn't expect it to start like this.

So with her dying breath she gathered most of her godhead into a sphere. The consolidated sphere was golden in color. Brilliant and blinding its luster, but a sense of ancient might is seeping from its beauty.

The goddesses and the gods had finally taken notice of her as she condenses her godhead and most of her powers into a tiny sphere. The rebel gods were alarmed and tried to snatch the sphere, but Leila didn't allow them.

With or without any followers she is strong. She is the first in existence and the one with the most powers, so she does not necessarily need any faith to keep her powers. Her strength was drawn from the abyss itself. Faith could only strengthen her and the absence of it does not harm her.

With the brilliance of a shooting star she spoke a destiny that awaits the traitorous gods.

"Gods who turn heed my Words,

Glory of today, doom of tomorrow

Lasting for a moment of triumph

Ruins of old then memoir

The moon will be out of sigh

Bright Sun shall dim the world

Waters will not sate your thirst

Fiery flames of coldness lits at you

Gentle Winds blew no longer

Skies of joyous blue no more

Shall you seek, shall never be

Motherly Reilas recognize not

Creatures of unknown lands

Resilient and a long time visitor

Polite they will no more

Death and plunder reigns

You who turned heed well

I, the eldest speak of truth

Remember my caution

This final words of warning"

Leila said all those as she coughed blood. She clutched upon her mouth to stop the blood from flowing. But the action was useless, it just keeps on coughing out of her mouth.

Her fellow goddesses were in distress upon the blood that was dyeing the white satin over their sister's body. As the only one with the full knowledge of what follows, the god of skies was frozen stiff. Everything just turns in ways they have not expected.

Leila didn't allow anyone to come to her. She was dying and at peace with the fact. With important personalities of their Pantheon in front of her, the eldest goddess is more than happy to see them one last time. She is vanishing not just in history, but also to her brethren's lives.

She once again spoke. This time in a foreign language—a set of words that is so old that only their sisters knew of.

"My sisters worry not of farewell.

If Fates allows we will meet again.

My power and my godhead will stay

To guide and groom its new master

A person that will pacify the old

Returning the sun to its place,

Pacify the unforgiving Waters

Will lit the fire's warmth again

Smoothing the the raging wind,

Dyeing the skies in colors of happiness,

The luminating light in the darkest hour

He shall restore the Reilas of old."

Leila said as she let go of the consolidated sphere into the dark abyss.

The sphere slowly ascended and then suddenly disappeared in the dark, marking Leila's ending. In a brilliance of a thousand stars, the eldest goddess left the world. Heralding the world's descending madness and first major catastrophe in many millennia.

Leila Nyx—the goddess of the darkness and void has thoroughly disappeared in the world of Reilas.
