Two creatures—one human and one wolf took their time to assess each other. It was not that long, but it answers many hidden and unspoken questions.
With respect to the beautiful beast, Leila spoke with the highest courtesy she can. "Greetings to the Mother Wolf. I hope you don't find my presence annoying and chase me out of your home."
The giant canine lifted its head, making it more taller than it was earlier. It looked down on her with its blue eyes, discerning and unnerving.
It was unknown how the beast did it but Leila could understand whatever it was telling her.
"Child of man you came again." The great wolf greeted her with regal grace that reminds the former goddess of the great rulers of Reilas. "For what pleasure have you sought me."
Leila was never one to beat around the bush. She immediately told the creature of the weirdness that she and her people had encountered the afternoon before. She asks for answers, hoping that the other party will relinquish her thirst.
